After Andy installed a new flushing mechanism for our toilet in early 2016, it started to malfunction in late September. Since we were leaving for our second home at the time, Andy agreed to come back to fix the problem, once we returned in late December. Upon our return, he showed up on time the very next morning. He replaced the malfunctioning flushing mechanism at no further cost to us! Andy is a professional of the highest reliability and integrity.

Called and they sent someone within an hour and a half. Eddie was courteous, professional and fixed the problem in just a few minutes. Very pleased and will hire again.

Everything was done smoothly. This is the third project Andy's company has completed for us. We highly recommend him.

Because of the service he gives, the price is fair. I can't imagine anybody else better.

So I contacted Andy Castillo Plumbing to get a second opinion and Andy came over to assess the issue. He determined that I can leave it as it is because the condition will not get worse and there is no active leaking (unless I plan to live in my house for another 20 years--but in 20 years all my drain pipes will be over 75 years old which is the average life span of iron cast drain pipes) but if I wanted to repair it he recommended replacing a longer section of the drain pipe as sawing only a small section of the drain pipe will cause vibration and loosen nearby sections--which makes sense, and the price he quoted was fair and competitive. I value Andy's honest assessment and opinion and for now I will not make any unnecessary repairs; I will definitely use Andy Castillo plumbing again as they are an honest company, has good recommendations for repairs,and has competitive pricing

Better than expected. Andy is great to work with. Very calm, professional, and showed up on time. Very knowledgeable and alleviated all my concerns since this is a condominium complex and he was able to find the main water shut off valve located in the garage. All work was done within an hour.

Andy's guys were really nice, and solved the problem within a few minutes - I had a glass that was perfectly wedged down the drink above the disposal blade. They popped it out, and Andy called to let me know they weren't going to charge me for such a simple, quick job. I appreciate that, as well as the fact that the guys were very nice and professional, and that I was able to get an appt with them right away. Would definitely recommend.

All the bathroom faucet needed was simply rise. It seems there was rust in the faucet/pipe and it just needed to be flushed. Real easy fix. Andy was articulate, professional and very polite. He said there was no charge because it would not seem like the right thing to do. I appreciated this because it speaks volumes of his work ethic.

After a few days, it was not functioning properly. Sometimes it would not allow the tank to refill until we jiggled the handle. We called the plumber and he came out the next day. Andy was very polite on the phone. They were very reliable and punctual. We spoke on Wednesday, the work was done by Friday. The price quoted on the gas cooker fitting was a little high until we clarified exactly what we needed. That was my only reservation. All in all it was work done quickly and efficiently and I would highly recommend this company.

Water exiting the shower head was not hot enough. Andy was gracious and prompt. Got the job done.

IT WAS THREE DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND MY ELDERLY PARENTS WERE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THEIR NEWLY INSTALLED GAS HEATER. THE GAS CO. CAME OUT AND DISCOVERED THAT THEY HAD A GAS LEAK BETWEEN THE METER AND THE HOUSE AND THEY MUST SHUT OFF THE GAS. NO GAS = NO HEAT NOT GOOD FOR MY PARENTS AND I AM OUT OF TOWN. I LOOKED ON ANGIE'S LIST AS I ALWAYS DO TO FIND TRADES. I FOUND Andy Castillo Plumbing WITH A GOOD A RATING. I CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE HE CALL BACK IN MINUTES I EXPLAINED MY SITUATION AND SAID HE COULD BE AT MY PARENTS HOUSE IN AN HOUR TO EVALUATE THE SITUATION. HE SHOWED UP ON TIME CHECKED OUT WHAT WAS NEEDED TO BE DONE, GAVE MY PARENTS AN ESTIMATEAND DIDN'T INFLATE THE PRICE, TOLD THEM THEY COULD BE THERE FIRST THING IN THE MORNING AND WOULD STAY TILL THE JOB WAS DONE. EVERYTHING WAS AGREED.THEY SHOWED UP FIRST THING IN THE MORNING WORKED ALL DAY AND CLEANED EVERYTHING UP.THE GAS CO. CAME BACK AT 10:00 P.M. INSPECTED THE JOB TURNED ON THE GAS AND MY PARENTS HAD HEAT BEFORE CHRISTMAS EVE. JOB WELL DONE THANK YOU ANDY. DAVE DIMARTINO

CALLED SEVERAL COMPANIES...SOME COULDN'T GET HERE FOR 3 OR 4 DAYS. ANYWAY....DID GET SOME APPROX QUOTES ON PHONES AND ANDY WAS COMPETITIVELY PRICED. HE CAME BY THE SAME DAY...WHICH IS NICE...TOOK FAUCET APART AND EXPLAINED WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT AND WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. VERY PROFESSIONAL, NICE GUY, GOT TO WORK AND WAS OFF. I COULD SEE WHY HIS GRADES ARE ALL "A" .... WILL USE AGAIN. NICE TO FIND SOMEONE CLOSE TO HOME TOO!

Tom came on time and confirmed what was needed, then upon doing so, went right to work. His work was very professional...completed quickly...and efficiently. I would definitely recommend both he and the company very highly.

Work was fine, but the was three hours

Andy called back promptly and sent out Eddie early Monday morning. Eddie was very personable and courteous. He even cleaned up after himself. I

We needed to replace a tub spout that had a poorly functioning diverter (lots of water still came out of the spout when the diverter was pulled up for water to come out of the shower head). Andy was great in fitting us in the next day. He was friendly over the phone and equally great in person. He showed up on time and came up fully prepared with all of his tools and two tub spouts to cover either type that ours might have been. What I appreciated was that Andy inspected both the tub spout and shower head to confirm that the tub spout didn't need to be replaced. His first thought was that the shower head might have sediment (calcium deposits, etc.) that was blocking water from exiting the shower head and creating pressure for water to go back out the tub spout. When he saw that the shower head was cleared and the tub spout was just old, he replaced it. The job took about 20 minutes. Andy struck me as a very honest person, which sometimes seems tough to find with all things home repair related. I will contact him again for my future plumbing needs.
