Andy drove out to the house after hours at no-charge to accommodate my work schedule He started and finished work on schedule When he dug the trench in the front yard, he dug a narrow trench and laid down a tarp under the dirt to protect the grass so as not to ruin the lawn too much He also replaced a cracked pipe under the house

Mr. Castillo was responsive, prompt, and flexible. When I found out I couldn't make it at the scheduled time I left him a message that morning; he called right back and arranged a time that was more convenient for me. He arrived promptly and cleared out the drain. He was also willing to answer my questions about further work that might need to be done, and suggested preventive measures. I am sure I will be calling him back in the future.

Called Andy on Monday for a Tuesday service call. He came within the time frame indicated and did let us know that he had another service call that morning - no problem. He gave us an estimate of the job which also included the Angi's list discount and after our approval started the job right away. We are extremely pleased with his work, he left things neat and clean and even scraped away the lime deposits we got around the faucet. Everytime we go to the sink now it looks great and works great and that's all that matters. Thank you very much ANDY CASTILLIO!!!

I obviously found Andy Castillo on Angie's and he is located near to me..I called, left a message and he returned the call later in the day...I described the problem and we set up a service appoint for Mon 2/22/10..he gave me a heads up call that he was on his way and looked at the problem and gave me an estimate that was more than I was expecting but sounded fair...he came back on 2/24, on time, and 3 hours later, the job was done..the water hammer in the pipes was gone, YEAH!...Andy is a very nice guy with a soft spoken demeanor and he is independent...I would recommend him to anyone in my condo complex and I will defintely use him again for any future problems.

Andy Castillo was very good. It was a very expensive plumbing job he did for us. He doesn't normally do a job that big. We took a chance on him partly because he was close by and partly because there was an emergency plumbing job to do. It wasn't his fault. Next time, if I were to do an expensive job like that again, I would definitely get quotes from other people as well because of the cost involved, pulling a permit and other things. He did other small plumbing jobs for us as well. We are in an apartment and I know there are people specializing in doing apartments, but I didn't see anybody like that in the website when I checked. Castillo wasn't punctual all the time, but I know he did his best. The emergency occurred on a Friday. He came out on Saturday and started the work on Monday. We didn't get any quotes which I really regret doing. I can't say much about his price because I didn't price him out. He did good work. I would use him on smaller jobs, but I would get other quotes for the bigger jobs.

Andy came for a scheduled appointment, he fixed our faucet in less than 2 minutes. he did not charge us for the service call, amazing!!! he is honest and has integrity. i highly recommend him. I will be calling and recommending him in the future.

Although it was a day during the holiday season, Andy came before 8:00am since we needed to leave by 9:00am. He examined the dishwasher thoroughly, and told us in detail what could be done. Since our dishwasher is a portable one with the type of hose not able to connect with the garbage disposal directly, Andy explained how the work could be done and what the alternatives are in details. After discussion with him, we decided it would be better off for us to buy a new dishwasher with the compatible hose since ours is very old. Andy was very patient and professional. Although he had to come early morning without any payment eventually, he was still very polite. We are very satisfied with him and will definitely call upon him on plumbing issues.

I'm a super happy customer! Andy was easy to get in touch with and always called back quickly. He came out right on time on a Saturday and really stuck to the job and forged ahead on it. In a relatively short amount of time he was totally done w/ the job of a total toilet swap-out, as well as a rebuild of the internals of another toilet. The new toilet install also involved some tile cutting work. He hauled the old toilet away, kept the work area really clean, too, using his own shop vac and tarps to keep the area clean. Andy was easy to work with, a real professional who did work to be proud of. I'll be using him again for any plumbing needs we have.

Andy and an associate arrived around 7:40am which was on the earlier side of the pre-determined time (7:30-8am). We showed him to the kitchen where they spent a few minutes examining the area in question. Andy then let us know that our garbage disposal was shot and the pipes beneath the sink should also need to be repaired sooner as opposed to later. We discussed how we were planning a full kitchen remodel within a couple of months. Andy said he would snake the drain to clear the water so we could get by until the remodel. He also let us know that we definitely should not use the garbage disposal. Andy was really professional and friendly. It was really great that he took the remodel into account and did not pressure us into replacing any of the parts. He quoted us a price right then and mentioned the Angie's discount immediately. The drain was snaked and cleared and it all took less than an hour.

They did a great job. They were very responsive and their prices were very reasonable.

We had a cracked 2" drain line which Andy replaced with a 3" line while working in standing water/mud on his back. He tied in the kitchen/disposal line, washing machine line and master tub drain which was tricky to do to get the proper drainage slope right for all the lines. We requested replaced lines initially with plastic pipe in the estimate but changed our minds to use cast iron pipe instead. Andy handled the requested change graciously and came properly equipped to complete the job within a day and half as specified in his estimate. He also snaked out the washing machine and kitchen sink lines. While snaking the kitchen line, one of the pipes under the sink cracked. He repaired this unforeseen problem before I even was aware of it. He handled all repairs calmly, efficiently and expertly. Andy even hauled 60 lbs. of kitty litter under the house to absorb the excess water and to get rid of the musty smell. He also told us that the kitchen faucet was leaking from the handle and told how to go about replacing it thru the manufacturer rather than thru him to save us some money. When we need plumbing work in the future, we will be calling Castillo Plumbing.

Andy drove outside of his normal service area to handle my problem. He was prompt, clean, courteous, and well-spoken. A breath of fresh air in comparison to other plumbers that have been to the house. He diagnosed the problem quickly and removed the debris from the disposal. With a proper light and his experience, he was able to do what I could not after several attempts. He checked the general condition of the garbage disposal and found it to be in good shape. He even checked a guide in his truck to determine the age of the disposal. He never attempted to conduct an unnecessary repair and was upfront in telling me that the disposal was in good shape and operating well. Many other contractors I have encountered would have attempted to replace the disposal anyway. Thanks to Andy for an exceptional experience. I will be calling again when the next plumbing problem arises.

Great. I asked a lot of questions, all answered to my satisfaction. We discussed plans for future projects to tackle.

The plumber arrived on time and immediately proceeded to do the items I had requested. He gave me an estimate for the work before he began and so I knew what to expect. He was very professional and I felt confident that everything was working properly for the installation of my new washer and dryer.

my washer overflowed, i suspected there was something wrong with the rinse cycle, but was not sure, and suspected a blockage, since the sink downstairs overflowed. andy however thought it was a mechanical defect, but offered to snake the drain just in case there was a problem.

Showed up on time and finished in about 5 hours. Great cleanup.

Al came to the house looked at my repairs and gave me an estimate. he did the work quickly and professionally. He also checked an old floor furnace to make sure it was disconnected as a courtesy. Really good work.

My kitchen sink was dripping and I'd tried to replace the cartridge myself, but was unable to get the cartridge out of the faucet. I called Castillo Plumbing the next morning and he said he could come out that afternoon. He arrived on time and replaced the cartridge. Also found the correct place for the piece of the faucet that I couldn't figure out where to reinstall the day before!

Andy Castillo was prompt, courteous and accurate. He gave me an initial cost, and then once the job was underway, we realized more extensive work would be needed. He gave me a range of costs once he dug into the job (literally) and while it was more than I expected, it was fair for the work. He came in on time and on budget. He communicated well with me throughout the project and left the place clean and neat. I would not hesitate to recommend him on to others on Angies list.

Andy did an excellent job. Together we first assessed the problem and what I wanted done to the kitchen faucet & garbage disposal. He gave me his assessment and clearly explained what he would do. We discussed price and the amount of time it would take to get the job done. He was accurate on both time and price and I appreciated his efficiency & professionalism. Additionally, I felt comfortable giving him a key to my unit which allowed him to come-in & out as he completed the job. Lastly, he was great with scheduling. I called him on Friday and he scheduled to perform the job the next day/Saturday.
