Andy provided an accurate assessment and estimate of the repair needed at the onset of the job. He is very knowledgeable, professional and his years of experience really shows. He knew what needed to be done quickly and efficiently took care of the problem. He explained what he was doing and why clearly and plainly. Best of all the cost was reasonable and he was very courteous and friendly. I will use him again and already referred him to a friend.

Andy was phenomenal in his work. We had Andy come to our school in Sierra ***** to work on a leaking faucet and he not only came out, he fixed it the same day. Since we are a school and faucets get heavy use, one of the valves came loose. Not only did Andy come out again, it's fixed and we haven't had any issues with it. Great work, professional, and a great price. Wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

Andy Castillo showed up on time, provided a very reasonable estimate and quickly unclogged the drain. In addition, he cleaned the sink and fired up the water heater's pilot light which had gone out. Andy determined it was steam that had damaged the paint and ceiling and not a broken pipe. He did not charge me for the appointment. I appreciate his honesty. I offered to pay him for his time, but he did declined. Other plumbers have charged me at least a truck fee to come out and inspect the problem. I will definitely use him again.

Andy gave a thorough explanation of the job, approximate cost and time frame to complete the job, and also provided valuable homeowner plumbing information. Andy's guys cut open the drywall under the guest bathroom sink and dining room ceiling exposing the pipe and its many cracks. They showed me where the damage was; explained the parts and materials they were going to use and had to buy an additional supplies for an unforeseen pipe bend that was only visible after they opened the wall and ceiling. Then, they installed the new pipe, etc. and meticulously cleaned up after themselves.

Very responsible and professional company. Was very happy with the work that was done especially having to break through a bedroom wall to get to the faucet. The repair work was well done and very pleased with the attentive service and attention to detail provided. Thank you.

Showed up promptly and worked quickly. Eddie and his assistant were polite, friendly and professional. Based on my description of the problem Eddie gave me a couple of cost estimates that depended on the location of the leak. Following the repair the final price was considerably lower than either estimate which was nice. I was so pleased that I discussed another job with them: replacement of an aging drain and installation of a new toilet.

A large trench had to be dug for new piping and was refilled and the grass was put back and looks good. Very cleanly done.

From the estimate to the completion of work, Andy Castillo's team was professional. They arrived and completed the work within the specified time. They explained the problem and what would need to be done to fix it. When I spoke to Andy to confirm what was included, he informed me of where there could be additional cost -- angle valve if it was no longer working. When installing the new faucet, Eddie --- who completed the work -- ran into difficulty with the specific unit. He informed that he was going to pick up a new one, returned promptly, and quickly finished the work. I mention this because I recently purchased a fridge from Best Buy and the delivery crew knowingly installed a defective unit. Eddie did what he should have done. He let me know there was a problem and went to get a good faucet. The one question that I have is upon completion of the work Eddie let me know that there is a slight warp in my sink (stainless steel). I am not sure that this was detectable until he actually put the faucet on. I have the impression that he thinks that it is cosmetic but I wonder whether this affects the longevity of the faucet. I guess time will tell. . . The wrap up: I would call Andy Castillo Plumbing again. Based on pricing infor on Angie's List and Housewyse, they are neither the cheapest nor the priciest. It is my first time calling a plumber (shift from renter to homeowner) and I was concerned with finding a reputable company. For now, I think that I have.

Andy was remarkably prompt and professional. In both cases, I needed someone to fix it right away, and he was so responsive. When he came, he found the problem immediately in all cases. He even went above and beyond the call of duty, because we discovered I didn't have the part to fix the second sink, and had to have it sent to me. He came back free of charge to make sure the second sink was fixed. His rates are very fair, and he is very personable.

He'll work with you whatever your needs are. We are very happy with the service we received from him. He's my go to plumbing guy.

After checking through Angie's list of plumbers, Andy Castillo's company stood out above the others. I called and received service on the same day! Eddie and his apprentice came on time and after giving me an estimate for different options, once I decided, they went to work. Job was done quickly and professionally. I appreciate their honesty and will definitely call on them again!

Andy came out, did an estimate, and then his guys came and replace the water heater which is outside the house, and also replaced the associated enclosure in about half a day. Very punctual, quicker than anticipated. Overall it was a pleasant experience. I think price-wise there are cheaper options, but i am certainly OK paying for quality. When i replaced the water heater at my previous home through Home Depot, it cost less, but i ended up needing about 8 service calls over the next year.

I was quoted approximately $280 including having the garbage disposal provided for me. I decided to purchase it myself at OSH. Two men showed up even though only one of them worked for about 40-45 minutes. They had to unclog my drain in addition to installing my garbage disposal. They were quiet and focused on the work. However, I was surprised that I was charged $300 when they were finished. I think that $300 was excessive for 45 minutes and a simple installation

The work was done very professionally each time, and the emphasis was on doing the job with materials and solutions that would result in the most long term reliability. Andy or the other techs arrived promptly and cleaned up thoroughly each time. They seemed to have a pretty full schedule but in every case they were able to get to me within a few days. Overall Andy's rates were fair for the quality of work. There might be cheaper plumbers out there, but I've found out the hard way that you often get what you pay for. FYI - I found that Andy tends to respond to texts more quickly than voice mail messages.

It was excellent. We had a quote for $1,800 to resolve the problem. He came in and did it for $500. He was clean, efficient, and did an excellent job. He is really knowledgeable.

My experience with Andy went well. In addition to Andy, I contacted several plumbers for their assessments and quotes. All the plumbers were consistent in that they pointed out that my pipe was galvanized steel. Given the age of the home (60 years), none of them felt the steel pipe was repairable. The plumbers recommended replacing the whole line (60 feet) with copper piping and fixtures. Andy offered a fair price and given his outstanding reviews on Angie's list, I selected him to do the job. The team showed up promptly to do the work. They ended up having to dig a trench that was about 45 feet long and 2 feet deep. This was extremely hard work since I have a lot of roots in my property due to two large number oak trees. When they reached my driveway (20 feet wide), they began drilling/hydro jetting and threaded the copper pipe below the concrete. Overall, the complete job took 3 days. The quality of the work was great and Andy's team was very courteous and professional. When they damaged a sprinkler pipe during the digging, they repaired it. That evening, after the job was completed, I decided to test the sprinkler system to ensure that any damage that may have occurred was repaired. I noticed that one of the sprinkler valves was leaking quite a bit of water. I contacted Andy the following morning and he promptly showed up and determined that it was due to a cracked PVC coupling. My sprinkler system is over 25 years old and it was not clear to me if the crack was due stress from the digging or just old age. Most likely both. Regardless, Andy repaired it. No questions asked and I am happy customer.

He was willing to talk me through the issue on the phone. Could not even try to make a house call out of it. And get so knowing there was no money in it for him.
