Mr. Castillo was very professional and he was also very personable. He was honest and upfront with me stating he would not know how much it was going to cost until he looked at the problem. He did give me a ballpark figure of a possible $200.00 but in the end after all he did he only charged me $100.00 to which I was very grateful for. I would highly recommend Castillo Plumbing just based on Mr Castillo's honesty and integrity alone.

He came to our home on time and quickly determined the toilet had a tiny fracture (two other plumbers totally missed it saying it was the wax ring). He went to a nearby supply store, bought a replacement and installed it quickly. We also had him install a kitchen faucet we bought at Lowe's. We liked his work so much we had him come back a month later and replace a bathroom sink that had been cracked for $250. He is clean cut, professional and wears long shirt tails (unlike the other plumbers whose shirts were too short for bending over, gross). We will use him again, definitely.

I had various plumbing projects around the house, we went through them all. He told me he'd call or email with a bid "by Monday". Well, by Wednesday I called him, he gave me some excuse or other and said he'd get right on it. Well, six months later and still no bid. Glad I had the work done by someone else who was excellent.

For a few weeks I kept hearing water noise but I could not discover where it was happening. I finally checked the door in the garage which under the foundation of the condo. And that's where I saw the water leak. I have used Andy Castillo for 2 previous jobs and it's nice to find an honest plumber. His service pro Eddie came by the same day I called on Saturday and saw the problem of a leaking copper pipe. Unfortunately he did not have the part and said he would come by on Monday. He quoted $320/$350. He arrived at 10:30 and went right to work. The job was finished in less than an hour and my water noise had disappeared. Eddie explained the whole process and told me about copper pipe thickness and mine was the thinnest. Also that it is possible that after 30 years, small leaks may appear in the thinnest pipes. Nice to know. The final price was $340.00. My homeowners insurance has a higher deductible. Castillo Plumbing will remain in my address book.

$98 to snake my shower drain that was only slightly clogged?!? $98 includes the 10% discount when you mention Angie's List?! Kind of a rip off, no? He said he'd show up between 12-2pm, but it was closer to 2pm and no where to be found when I was calling him to see his ETA.

He came when he said he would, and fixed the drain. He had given me a price of $1800 but after it was done, he only charged me for the actual time that they worked. He cleaned up the area and was as non invasive as possible. He is really nice and understands what I mean when I tell him what I want done. He has done so much work for me and it is always top notch! I will use him again and again!

They came and did a great job. They were very nice.

Don't remember how much it cost, but had done a price comparison before calling. Honest and fair pricing. Requested a esimate of changing my gas line and he suggested waiting since I have plans to do some constraction in the near future.

Andy Castillo was great. He arrived at the times (for the quote and the work) that he said he would. We live in an older home so the only hiccup we had was that one of the pipes was rotted (there since the home was built in the 1920's) and broke off. That isn't a reflection at all on Andy. We'd rather that he found it when he did as opposed to the pipe bursting/breaking and then really needing work to be done! He cleaned up after he was done and that's a biggie for us! If you're like us and appreciate a business person who is prompt, communicates well on work that needs to be done and leaves the work area like you had it before they started, we recommend Castillo Plumbing.

Andy Castillo Plumbing was very good in my experience, everything was good. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. He actually discovered another problem and took care of it and did not charge me any extra for the additional repair material he used, and that was very nice of him. I would say he was pretty fast and spent even less time than what he quoted me, and on the second day he was done for the most part, yeah. He also actually stayed after-hours after 5 o'clock to find the extra problem that came up, he actually went out to find the valve, and that was pretty good, he actually went out the extra mile. He did quality work like a craftsman.

Highly recommend! Andy was punctual, polite, meticulous, quick, and most of all honest. I'll definitely keep his info in my contacts for next time and recommend him to friends.

I have to say Mr. Castillo was very punctual and a very honest plumber. He even gave me a discount. He also checked underneath my house for any leaks after I had explained to him all the plumbing problems I had been having and he never even charged me extra for the extra work he did. I can honestly say that I would definitely recommend this plumber to all my family and friends. This is one very honest plumber who will explain what needs to be done and he will show you what is wrong so that way you know exactly what is going on and how much it is going to be.

The master bathroom shower in our new house was leaking to the floor below, and according to our warranty company's plumber, it was most likely a problem with the shower pan and drain. We contacted four different plumbers for quotes. While Andy wasn't the lowest, he was the most methodical in describing what he was going to do; others said that they'd replace the shower pan or the entire shower, while Andy suggested that we further diagnosis the problem by opening up the ceiling and testing the shower pan for leaks. Good thing, too, since the problem was only the drain and a crooked pipe, and not the shower pan. He fixed this problem and then, when we used the shower and discovered that the shower couldn't turn off, Andy came the next day to fix it (busted seal on the shower valve). We appreciate that his estimates on price and time for repair were conservative (and he reduced the price when the fix was more straightforward than he feared) and that he was very neat, wearing booties and cleaning up after himself (not dinner party spotless but clean enough). Plus he's a nice guy! We'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber.

This is a rental house, so I have to followup with the renters to see how it went. They were happy. He showed up when he said and did the work quickly.

I have called Andy Castillo several times over the past few years for various plumbing repairs. His work is always competently, professionally, and neatly completed. He is very pleasant to speak with and his prices are reasonable. He does have a busy schedule, but he was worth the few days wait this time for my problems which were not urgent.

The job was just great and he also did work on the seats. We had to have a pipework, I mean a plumbing done to our toilet which was blocked. He came back and he did that work for us. They are very very polite and they are very efficient, I have no complaints. They treated us very courteously and also when they came back another time, they did not charge us anything, when our toilet was blocked. He cleared all the pipes and he did not charge us that time,and the job was just great.

It went really well. The guy who came out was pretty honest with his estimate and his quote was accurate. He finished the work on time and he charged me under $200.

Andy was professional, personable and efficient in his work. He diagnosed the problem, went right to work, and cleaned up afterwards. We were impressed enough that we asked him about some future work that we have planned for our bathroom. We will certainly be contacting him again in the future.

Andy showed up on time and took care of everything I requested quickly. He came out under fairly short notice as I needed to get this work done for the gas line to be able to continue with a some remodeling work being done around the fireplace. He was very helpful in giving me options on where i could place the on/off valve and it came out perfect. He left his work area clean when he left and I will be calling him again for any future plumbing issues.

Andy responded to my call within one hour. He gave full details regarding his availability and was able to come to my home exactly when he said he would be able to. He immediately accessed the job and completed it right away. We were very satisfied with the work as well as his quoted price. I would definitely call him again. He did a really good. job.

Andy was prompt and professional. He was able to inspect and replace the gas pipe in one visit in less than an hour.

Andy recently completed the install of a new tank-less water heater & overall it was a complicated project that included identifying old mistakes that a previous contractor made & fixing them. It was the project from h*** but he stuck to it & got it done. I trust his work so much that I actually even recommended him to my Nana - she does not have an Angie's List account but she wanted me to be sure to not that he is very knowledgeable & very polite. I've used Andy for a couple projects both on my rental properties & on my personal home. Every time I've used him he's been easy to get a hold of, easy to schedule, & upfront about what needs to be done & how much it's going to cost. He shows up when he says he is going to, is super cool with my pets & my tenants pets, & his assistant is hilarious. Overall I highly recommend him.

Andy kept his schedule. He arrived with his son, and they removed the old filter system, and replaced if with a new one. All went well. The work was neatly done.
