We had worked with Chris previously on a kitchen remodeling project and so knew about his abilities and work quality. As in the past, the communication on this project and completion of the work was seamless, despite the distance between us and him. We received a proposal to review, and had discussions regarding the specifics, and then agreed upon the work to be done as well as the pricing. Once he started the job, it was a week from start to completion, and he even took additional steps to work with our property management company and tenant at our location to ensure the process was smooth for all. During the project as well as when it was finished, he sent us photos of the roofing work, to keep us up to date. The roof looks great and he also made some improvements to ensure its infrastructure integrity. We thank Chris and his team for another job well done and will be sure to use him again for any improvement need - highly recommended!

Chris was able to meet within the price agreed upon. He was also prompt in answering my concerns or questions. Everyhting went well until railing installment time. It caused such huge headaches and the job (the railing part) was shoddy at best even after repeated fixes. I was at my wit's end and finally told Chris to finish painting and be done with the project. Fortunately, Chris was very persistent in making it right by fixing the problem himself. I would give him an A alone for his efforts to attempt to make me happy in the end. Would I use his service again in the future? Not if he still use the same people who installed the railings. I also think that he might have taken too many jobs that he seemed to be unorganized with his people.

Quality cleaning. Professional service... Also, didn't charge for steps because of Angie's List. Also noticed a stain because the furniture color came off on the wet carpet. The service person came out again and cleaned it. Also because he couldn't make appt (for the stain), he offered to clean the couches free of charge! Great customer service!

The offer called for $69, but we have pets and added the $30 extra cleaning. It was worth it! Awesome job, very quick and the carpet looked & smelled great. Well worth every penny. The team was clean and professional. I plan on using them for all of my carpet cleaning needs going forward.

It was a little bit a weird experience. The service was fine but we had a bit of an issue with the representative. We were wondering if there were keys in our house.

These guys are awesome. Once I started looking for cleaners, I got quotes from multiple companies. Some of them visited personally and some of them gave me direct quotes. These guys gave me a quote in advance and requested a personal visit. Unfortunately, they did not make it as they were on the road. However, they promised me to stick with the quote they gave over the phone. The guy came 10 minutes late (he informed in advance that he is running late). He checked the house and said everything looks as he expected. No surprises. He started working and 3 hrs later the carpet looks brand new (just a metaphor) all the marks are gone as promised. There were few stains that were not gone, however he told in advance to starting the work that these stains wont go. Everything turned out as he promised. He also mentioned extra services that can remove the hard stains. However, he was not pushy and in fact told us to wait until the carpet cleaning is done and then make a decision on extra services. Those extra services are most costly and he didnt want to push it through our throat. After carpet cleaning, we did not mind the hard stains as they are not most prominent anymore. Tiles and grout turned out perfect as new (not metaphor anymore). They are shiny and got their new look back. We could not believe how the whole experience turned out. He even promised to come back and finish if we find a dirty spot or not cleaned sport. Fortunately, we did not find any. These guys are just awesome! no pushy sales, no complex process. Carpet, tile and grout cleaning it is as simple as that and their process is as simple as that.

Things went well. There were a couple spots that they couldn't get out completely but it's ok. They did have an issue with their normal machine so they had to use different equipment. They were very nice and prompt.

Okay. They showed up on time. They did not pick up one stick of furniture. It took them about 45 minutes and they were gone. When they got here it was suppose to be $69 but then they had some stain remover for $30 more. All in all overall recommendation: Disappointed.

The work performed was what was stated in the agreement. I decided to have additional service performed. The added cost was very reasonable.

I bought a big deal for this service. I have used them, maybe, three times and they did a really super good job. They were on time and reliable. That is why I went back to them. They did very well. Just one young guy came out and my rooms are big so I was thinking he was not able to do it. But he did a great job and it was not all day. He just got in there and got busy. He called me just before he came and told me he was running a little bit late, which was fine, because I had to drive over to the house anyway. He arrived a little before I got there so the time schedule was very good. He got all the stains out for me. He was very professional.

came in as promised. Pre washed with a spray, and then used a high pressure wash and vacumn. Just waiting for the grout to dry over the next few days to see how that turns out. Some variation right now, but the fella says that show all go away once it is all dried. 7/17/2015 update on cleaning. The grout has dried now. The places where the grout was spray with a prewash have dried nicely and you can tell they are very clean. However, along the floor molding or corner areas including the bathroom, there are a number of areas that could use more attention at the time of cleaning or during their final wrap/walk thru. We'll need to do some spot cleaning on those areas of grout. I would make the suggestion to anyone wishing to have this service performed by any company not just Shipley's, that you pay attention to areas at the front of cabinets or corners and have the technician go over it again in those areas. Since I did not know what to expect I did not say anything at the time. I now know for any following service in future years. One other area of concern is for the laminate floors we have. With the way this house was made there are low spots and they drain towards the laminate. The technician said he'd wipe the excess water up, however due to prior experience with excess water n laminate I did not take the chance of letting water drain to the laminate. Next time I would make a dam of towels and make sure that the tile is hand washed where it meets laminate. It is not worth the risk to having damage to the laminate if there is something you can be aware of at the time of the cleaning. Even with these two areas of concern I would hire Shipleys in a heart beat. Over all they did do a good job. I am very pleased with the grout in the areas where it did come completely clean.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! The technician, Tim, arrived promptly and was very friendly and courteous. Tim did a deep clean for an additional charge but was worth every penny and for the first time, our tile and grout looked as good as new when it was originally placed. We will have Shipley and Sons do our carpets in near future and also tile cleaning when needed.

They did a fantastic job. Went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the results. Even re-cleaned a small section that seemed extra dirty due to heavy foot traffic. We were happy right away after he finished cleaning, but even more importantly, we were thrilled that it looked clean, fresh and fluffy weeks after everything dried. We will definitely call them again. Thank you!

The cleaning rep from Shipley arrived on time and reviewed our expectations with my wife. He pretreated the stained areas and finished the job very efficiently. He was polite and professional, we're happy with his work. Prior to the service date my wife contacted their company to find out what utilities were needed to accomplish the task because we were trying to schedule termination of service for the water, electricity and so on. The scheduling person advised her the tech would need the electricity on but not the water so she scheduled the utility terminations accordingly. The cleaning tech advised us the day before the service date that his truck had a reservoir but he wasn't sure if that would do the job. When he arrived at our home he determined he would need three times the amount of water his truck held to do the job. Luckily our city water had not been shut off when he was there. We hope the next time we contact their office for assistance the scheduling staff can provide more accurate info. Based on the work that was completed we would contact Shipley in the future.

We purchased the 4 room for 89.99 carpet cleaning and deodorizing. The technician was very prompt, professional, courteous, and did an outstanding job. The cleaning was for a private home my Wife and I were renting and moving out of at the time. We plan to have them out to our new home once things settle down and we don't have boxes all over the place. :)

They did a beautiful job. they were prompt, wonderful and kept in touch with me.They were there when they said they would be there. The carpet is just gorgeous. The guy was just really nice. They were reasonably priced. I could not have asked for a better service. I would highly recommend them and I will be using them again.

The work was excellent. The job was actually conducted by AZ Xtreme Clean, as a subcontractor to Shipley & Sons. The timeliness and quality of the work was exemplary. One of the carpets had some use showing through. The carpet was cleaned to the original condition. We were informed that a section the carpet might need to be cleaned again after a little wear. If this was the case they would be happy to come back and do the section again. As it turned out this was true and the company quickly returned and did the carpet. Have had no problems since. We were extremely pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work and will surely use AZ Xtreme Clean if we have any more work to be done and have recommended them to our neighbors.
