Called back after several days. Wasn't interested in coming out to do estimate. Did give me a square foot price .Project is several months away, said no bid because they could only stand behind bid for 30 days. Disappointed after the ratings listed here. I take Angie List reviews with a grain of salt. Most of the bids I have gotten are near $30,000. He estimated $47,500. No overall score as no service

They did a very nice Job, were very courteous, answered all my questions. They were on time both days. Everything was cleaned up nicely.

I called Chris looking for a quality construction company who could fill in a large opening in our drywall entertainment center that currently hosed a 55 inch DLP TV. We wanted to move to a 65 inch flat panel and we needed the wall to be enclosed and for Chris to build a structure that could support the weight of a 65 inch TV. Chris was extremely responsive and provided me a quote in a very short amount of time. I wanted to get this done quickly and Chris was able to adjust his schedule to be on-site within a week to complete the job. Chris and his team were very courteous and cleaned up all of the mess before leaving the job. The job turned out fantastic and Chris even helped me to mount the TV hanger on the wall. We would not hesitate to call Chris again for future jobs.

Overall very pleased. I paid a fair price for the work that was done. And the work was completed in a timely manner.

They had to return the second time. She did fine the second time. Their punctuality was good. She did call me to let me know what she was doing.

It was a while ago. I honestly thought the results were just okay. I wasn't like extremely happy with it. They were here during the summer, I think in August. The price was fine. From my other experiences with other carpet cleaners in the past they would spray like a deodorizer and such and this just wasn't like that.

I had a unique project which entailed converting my side gate conventional hinge system that had a padlock to keep it secured into one that had an electronic access with keypad, exit button from the secured area, using an electronic door strike. I called several companies/contractors to provide a bid for the work, including one company who installed a similar system on my front gate. Nobody came through like Chris and his company. From the time when I first called and spoke to Chris's wife who mentioned to me that they do not usually take on smaller projects like mine, but she was extremely accommodating and willing to work with me. He visited me at the house, viewed the gate and the electronic components I had already purchased, and came up with a plan to have the job completed. There was no hesitation for any portion at all. He was confident he could do the job. He came before Christmas and said he was busy and would let me know in January when he had time. Sure enough he did call back in January when he was ready to do the work. He remained in contact with me and gave me details on project start dates regularly. He had another person from his company do the work. I was unable to be at home while the work was being done and would have wanted certain adjustments made before it was too late, but overall, I am still very satisfied with how the project turned out. He was not able to tell me how long the project would take since this was not a job that people do everyday. The price did come back a little higher than I expected but he did work with me and again, no hesitation to really make the customer happy. This has to be one of the best companies I have worked with, from start to finish. I have always read so many stellar reviews about other companies and always wished I could work with a company and have an equally good experience, and I can confidently say I finally did.

I wasn't particularly pleased with that. I have area rugs and he said well we don't normally do area rugs but since you got it through Angie's List we'll do your area rugs for you. He said, you know this is just general cleaning, if you really want it good strong cleaning that will be another $69. I said, oh really? and he said, yes, it was either $49 or $69, I forget, the point is I immediately thought bait and switch. I said just give me the regular that it is that you do and he did and the rugs didn't look very much different than before. There was a spot on the carpet in the room that has a carpet and I told him I didn't know what that was and he said oh don't worry we can get that out and I said fine, which again to me how do you know you can get it out because I don't even know what it its. I don't know what was happening but I was in another room or whatever and I guess I was just annoyed, I didn't see what he was doing but anyway, he called me and told me that he was through and it was a reasonable time. I said okay, did that spot come out?, and he said, oh yes and he left and that was the end of that. It wasn't until that night or the next day I happened to go in that room and it didn't look a bit different than it did before. It might have been a bit more prominent because it was cleaner. I mean he was polite and all of that but the bait and switch thing got on my nerves immediately. Maybe it wasn't a bait and switch but don't tell me I'm going to get my things cleaned for $69 and then not really. He said we usually charge more for area rugs than we do for rugs.

Chris Shipley always arrived on time gave me an accurate estimate and finished on time and within budget, Quality of his work is excellent. One of the best contractor experiences I have ever had. Would not hesitate to use him again.
