My experience with this company was great. I explained my situation regarding what was needed and was given the opportunity to take advantage of a new special that would be in effect on the day of my service which gave me additional services. I did appreciate that I was given that choice which saved me money.

The company called me with a reminder of the service. I was able to ask questions about moving furniture, etc He showed up on time. Gave me good instructions and informed me of what my options were for their service. I could have had a deodorizer, but I chose not to have it since I am sensitive to odors. That was just fine! My housekeeper was impressed at how well my carpets looked. She wanted the company's contact info!

It upped me in sales by saying it would not get very clean and as people walk on carpet spots will show. I did not receive another receipt that showed additional money given. The following day I notice my hose was discounted and when he cleaned his filter or area from dirty water was all over my rocks and needed to be cleaned. Rugs look good, but last impression was the piles of hair that I cleaned up.

My floors look brand new. He also cleaned a small section of my carpet and it looks new too.

Chris is very responsive and was easy to reach during the job. He took care of everything that I had asked of him. He is honest, straight forward, and nice. Everything worked out fine overall.

Chris Shipley and his construction crew are highly skilled and very professionals. They have given 101 percent of their time to meet our home improvement needs for selling purposes. Chris also helped us save some money in the areas where replacement is unnecessary. For example, we had some paint stains on our living and guess rooms carpet, which we thought need replacement, Chris and his crew did and excellent job removing the stains and and everything went unbelievably great! They also steamed and re-grouted our tile floors, which absolutely look amazing. We have had series of complements from agents who showed our home and as a result we received an offer in less than a week after the initial showing of our home! From beginning to end the contractor exceeded expectations. All Bids were complete, reviewed completely and submitted in timely manner. Consideration was given to the process and cost. The expertise of the contractor ensured the job was done correctly meeting all engineering inspections without issue. All subcontractors introduced to the project were equally professional completing their tasks in less time than projected with no 'residue' or contractor debris left behind. The job site was left clean, quality materials were used and follow-up occurred at each stage of the project. I would definitely recommend Shipley & Sons Construction and will keep them in my contacts for future projects.

Chris was very punctual in everything he did including quoting, negotiating the contract, starting the job and ending the job. His quality was excellent and he is very honest. An example of his quality is he called us during the job and told us that he was having a hard time sourcing the baseboard to match the existing baseboard. He was prepared to have it custom made but we pointed out that in another room we had someone replace some baseboard and that contractor did not have any problems sourcing it. He looked at the baseboard and pointed out that there were some small differences between the baseboards, which we had never noticed. We ended up using the stock baseboard but it was important that Chris checked with us and actually had a better eye for those details than we did.

They were very good. It was a hard project but he followed through. He did a lot of research to find the right materials. I was impressed with him and his workers. They cleaned up when they were finished.

First of all I must say that I originally did not have a great experience with Shipley and Sons. HOWEVER, I must NOW say that this company is one of the greatest companies, with a customer service division that is EXCEPTIONAL!! Once a prior project was not completed to my satisfaction, I thought I would just lose my money and make my complaint and that would be the end of it. However the Owner (Chris) would not let that be the case. He called, he emailed, he text, all until he made sure that I got exactly what I needed and what I had hoped for. I am well aware that sometimes thing don't work out the way we hope when we work with a contractor. I am also aware that sometimes there is no resolution that both parties consider to be fair and reasonable. Shipley and Sons has changed my mind and elevated my opinion of how things should be handled once you have a dispute with a company. From this point on I will expect a company to treat me as magnificently as I was treated by Shipley and Sons. Not only was the work completed to my satisfaction but they ensured that the payment was discounted. At the end of this long road with Shipley and Son I only have one word. IMPRESSIVE!!! I wish that more companies would make customer satisfaction as important as Shipley and Son has!! Thank you abundantly for a job well done, but more than that thank you for your willingness to ensure that your customers happiness comes first!! GREAT JOB!!

I have an addition, I will be getting a new roof. My roofer was concerned because the addition has a flat roof and requested I have additional support added to the existing structure. This company responded promptly, worked with my schedule and I'm delighted with the end results! I used a big deal and only had a little extra expense for some additional materials. I definitely intend to use them again.

Chris's team member did a fantastic job on our backsplash tile and began work on our bathroom faucet. While shutting off the water main, our valve broke. Chris stepped up and came to our house and spent until the late repairing the valve, so that we could get water restored to our house. They finished the overall job to our satisfaction. Chris and his team member we courteous and willing to explain in detail what the work entailed and provided great advise along the way. I would recommend them to anyone.

They arrived on time. They knew what they were doing. While i had a large "to-do list" they suggest doing the columns on the front porch first. The columns were rotting at the base and were just flowing only attached to the top. They fasten all the columns to the concrete by adding a new base plate. After the job was completed you couldn't tell the old from the new. Because they were such knowledgeable professional the help me prioritize my "to-do list". I will hire them back. They clean-up the front so you couldn't tell they were there but ik felt a little safer and happier.

They did a fabulous job! They fixed tiling issues that another contractor didn't do right the first time with the grouting.

Chris was VERY busy so we did have to wait several weeks, but his crew did a great job. It looks terrific and the work workmanship was excellent. Although the Angie's List deal was a day of carpentry for $300, we received a $300 discount on the project, which is far less than a day of carpentry would cost. Of course the cost needed to include materials and the second craftsman. But the service was good and we are pleased with the final product.

His crew did a very good job the only downside is it takes forever to get a hold of him or get anything scheduled.

Emailed through Angie's List and received a prompt phone call. Said he would have to call me back to schedule. That was over a week ago.

I purchased a general contractor 8 hr deal for $299 (4 hr for 2 guy?s), from Angie?s list. Chris came out initially to review the job, look for potential problems and make sure when he sent someone from his company that would be able to complete the job to the customers? satisfaction. I told Chris I?d be able to give him a week or so head?s up to set the door once I knew when it would ship. The door finally came in after three + weeks, unfortunately I was not given a heads up as promised by Home Depot. When I called Chris to set up a time frame for his crew to install the door, he was swamped with work due to all the rain. He did not let that deter him. He looked at the jobs he had lined up and was able to shift some things and sent Corey and a helper. Corey installed the double entry door replacing a door that was 28 years old, was warped and had major air leak issues. Corey was meticulous in setting the door correctly and having it open and close without gaps etc. It took quite a lot longer than expected to install it due to the many issues this house has. However Chris was a true professional and did not up charge the job. Something that is very prevalent in the industry. His willingness to make sure the door was installed and that we were satisfied with the end product is admirable. It gives us the opportunity to hire Chris again in the fall when we will be doing more renovation. Thank you for doing such a good job fellas! It has been a day now and we have had time to use the door several times and see how the door functions. Without a doubt it?s one of the best installed doors we have ever had. The daughter and her husband even commented last night on how nice the door opens and shuts! Just wanted to make sure that even the next day the door was as perfect as it was the first day.

They removed our upper kitchen cabinets and opened it up to our family. They reinstalled the cabinets in our garage. Two men came for the job and they completed the work in three and a half hours. They seemed to really know what they were doing. They also did some patching and electrical work. They were fantastic.

Men arrived promptly and began work. They introduced themselves and we're very professional. They did a good and cleaned up the work area leaving no mess or sign they had been there. Service was for two men for four hours work, however it took them seven and I do not know total cost but expect between six and seven hundred dollars which is totally acceptable.

It went pretty well. The manager was very responsive and I thought it was a good price. He took awhile to do things but it was good. They got the guy there on short notice and they called me afterwards to make sure it went well.
