Description of Work: Sergio and is crew did a great job at a great price. They finished the job in two days rather than three and met all my expectations.

Description of Work: Sergio did a great job. He installed about 120 sq ft of pavers for a patio. I am very satisfied. He is a small operation. I got a bid from a large firm. The bid was almost twice Sergio's bid. Because of his size you might have to wait a little while to have him start, but once he started he completed within the two days he said he would. He is very good with the pavers, but he doesn't do landscaping. He didn't haul away the dirt he dug out, but I can use it elsewhere. I moved a drip irrigation line, but for the savings it was well worth it. Certainly will use him again for masonry work.

Description of Work: I called and left a message. A couple days later he called back and set up an appointment to come to my house to bid for a substantial amount of work to be done. I rearranged my work schedule to be able to meet him at the scheduled date and time. HE NEVER SHOWED UP. He didn't call, he didn't answer when I tried to call him, and he still hasn't called. If he wasn't interested in doing the work, he should have told me. It's bad enough with all the reviews of him not calling people back, but its even worse to schedule an appointment and then to blow it off with communication.

Description of Work: Based in part by the excellent ratings in Angie's List I called Sergio on 25 March to ask for a quote on some concrete and retaining wall repair work I needed done. He called back on 27 March to set up a time for an on site visit for 28 March. He never showed on 28 March but called back late on the 29th asking to come out for a meeting. We met for over an hour during which we reviewed the repair requirements and viewed the work areas around the home. Sergio made sure he referred to his good ratings on Angie's List throughout our meeting and pointed out to me that his crew could do all the work required and how important the work was to his firm and family. He agreed to provide a quote in 3 days (3 April). I did not hear from Sergio on 3 April and called him on 4 April leaving a message for him to call and let me know when I might expect his input. As of 10 April, he has not returned my call nor has he provided the quote requested. If he was not interested in the job all he had to do was tell me and not commit to a quote. Very poor communication and customer relations inconsistent with Angie's List ratings. I initially rated Verdugo Masonry with overall F but changed to D since he at least came over for a review. All other review items remain unchanged.

Description of Work: Patched adobe wall , patched brick house wall, patched brick patio. Work was performed as requested in a timely manner. Patch work has held up well and blends well with existing structures.
