Fellow came out, measured,selected the screening and followed up with a quote. We agreed. They were installed today by 2 men who were very professional and friendly. Took the better part of the morning to complete the job but it was well done when finished.

Did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Professional, knowledgeable, clean and courteous. Would recommend this company to anyone.

Replace broken exterior window. Installed shower door.

I contacted the company to repair a broken window glass and to replace screens. They set an appointment for 4 days later. They came out and took measurements. They gave me an initial estimate of $1100, but said they would need to email me a more specific price. A week later I am still waiting.

I am in disagreement with the reviewers on this company, and the reason I'm giving them a "D" instead of an "F" is because my initial contact with them was positive. This company cut a piece of glass for a table for me. They don't send anyone out to do a template; it's done over the phone based on dimensions provided by the customer, which was fine because my table is rectangular. The price was reasonable, and then they give you a choice: you can pick it up yourself for free or pay them $100 to deliver it - a ridiculous price for delivery within less than a 10 mile radius of their shop! When I picked up the glass, there was no protection of any kind on it, around it or on the edges (cardboard, tape, styrofoam, etc.). Luckily, I had a blanket in my van to protect it. I got the glass home, and while my husband and I were moving it into the house, one corner of the glass snapped off! This was a clean break with the broken piece being about 18 inches long. I spoke with Deb to discuss the problem, and she was very defensive. She said, "Glass breaks sometimes." Duh! I've dealt with glass tabletops, some larger than this piece, and I have never had glass break that easily. I suspect that there may have been a hairline crack that went unnoticed until we moved it. She said that once I picked it up, they were no longer responsible for it. She would not even consider the possibility that there may have been a defect in the glass, or even the possibility that it could have been damaged when it was loaded into my van. Rather she implied that it was my fault, that either I didn't move it properly or stressed the glass somehow. I was extremely dissatisfied with their lack of customer service and the "oh, well, too bad" attitude. No effort was make to try and reconcile the situation. So, caveat emptor: Unless you pay their exorbitant delivery charge, they will not stand behind the product. Lesson learned. They have my money, and I have a useless piece of glass. They may be good on larger, in-home projects, but I would not recommend them for glass cutting services.

Great experience. From my initial visit to their showroom right through to installation everyone was great. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The project was completed on time and we couldn't be more pleased with the end result.

Called for approximate cost to construct 2 frames with solar screens and then asked for a free measure and estimate for all windows. The fellow who did the measuring (who turned out to be the owner) was prompt, efficient and helpful. Cindi in the office, was wonderful to deal with and answered all of my many questions. They replaced my bug screening with solar screening which other companies said couldn't be done and constructed beefy frames for my arched windows when other companies said they couldn't do it. All screens are tight in the frames without warping and look great! I would use them again. Price is expensive but you get what you pay for.

They did excellent work, showed up on time, and were very thorough. They even repaired one of the screens that was damaged during transport.

I experienced an overlong delay in finishing the project. The work performed was excellent, but the supplier sent the wrong material twice, costing a two week delay.

Excellent! I was provided an in home estimate at no charge for the services desired. The technician had screen samples and also has sample of the heavy duty screen door frame. Measurements were taken and I was promised a phone call with two business days with a full estimate. I received the phone call as expected and was provided an estimate for the windows screen with a standard screen door and the upgraded screen door (which is was I opted to go with). Installation was scheduled for approximately ten days later. Installation went smoothly and was completely above and beyond my satisfaction. The installer arrived on schedule went over the estimate again to ensure that everything would be correctly installed. All the screens were correctly built and all fit very well. Same goes for the screen door. Everything looks and feels very high quality and the screen door slides very smoothly. I initially only had certain windows of the house done in order to help with cooling costs (the house has 22 windows, so started with everything that faced south and east) and because I was concerned about cost. I can say that I will definitely be calling Palo Verde Glass & Screen back in the future to have them do the rest of the windows on my house.

When we called to make the appointment, the front office girl, just by listening to us said that we would not need a low e glass or whatever, and when the guy came out he said I don't know she said that because this is definitely what this is, so the girl was not very knowledgeable. The guy who did come out to replace the window was on his cell phone quite a bit and they were personal calls, not anything work related. He seemed to do a good job anyway.

We had prompt service to our request for a quote for replacement of 5 old windows, but these were built in to the stucco and removing and replacing was going to disturb both the drywall inside and stucco outside. So a big job. We had very good response to the quote but we ended up going with another company because the quote for $500 per window to repair the window opening, plus the cost of the window itself, made another quote quite a bit less expensive. This is a top-end company and no doubt would do excellent work for you but in our case, budget was paramount and we had to go with someone else.

They had a reasonable price. I was pleased with their work.

Very pleasant to deal with. The only glitch was that their original measurements were wrong so when they came to install the glass, it didn't fit so they had to do it over. They did that quickly & professionally, and were back within a few days.

Really great communication and quick to schedule an appointment to come to my property to measure the windows to ensure I had the correct size. Excellent service and great professionalism throughout. They will be my 'go to' for window replacement or upgrade in Tucson.

We are from out of state, remodeling a condo, and relying on Angie's List. Palo Verde Glass was very courteous and prompt to complete the job. It was done very well. They asked how we heard about them and offered a discount when I said Angie's List. Exceptional professionalism.

We bought a home in Arizona only to find there were no screens anywhere. We contacted Palo Verde Glass & Screen Service to enquire if they built screens, not just repair them. They did and sent a person out to do an estimate. The screen for the sliding glass door was well over 8 feet high and we were concerned that constructing a screen that size would entail cross bars which would obstruct the view. They assured us that wouldn't be the case and gave us an estimate, which we accepted. A couple of weeks later they called to say the screens were ready and they would be over to install them. The screens fit perfectly, they were installed quickly and professionally and you'd hardly know the new sliding screen door was there to hinder the view.

Unlike other companies, the owner came out to our home to actually look at the project before giving an estimate and advice. This was a good thing because one of the windows had originally been installed backward thus creating installation problems that they would not have known about had they not done an on site inspection. They were careful and thoughtful to make sure we got what we needed and gave us ideas about how to handle the backward installation. They finished the job competently, on time, and the price was competitive or less than other companies who gave us phone estimates but wouldn't come out to our home. We were very pleased with how they handled the project from start to finish.

Good company to deal with. Good experience.

My dog hit our front window and it shattered. I called one glass company who would come out later that day and provide finished product in a week. I called Palo Verde Glass & Screen (remembered that a friend had used them). Ron came out that morning and provided an estimate. He even came back later to do another estimate on a sliding door that had been damaged previously; I hadn't thought of it when he was out the first time, but when I mentioned it to the office later, he came back out. Both windows were replaced/fixed within 2 days. Price was reasonable and we've just ordered new shower doors from them. Overall service was superior, professional, and timely. All interactions with Ron, Debbie, and Cindy have been exceptional.

They also repaired two sliding glass doors that were very difficult to open -- did it all in about an hour (they came out a couple weeks earlier to measure and give the estimate.) Estimate fellow is gruff but efficient, the servicemen that came later were very nice, helpful, efficient. Their prices on other items, such as screen doors, are pretty outrageous.
