Description of Work: Mr Tolson personally does the quotes. He listens intently at your needs and has great suggestions. If there is a misunderstanding he will make it right. The price is a little higher than what I expected but it was indeed what I had asked for.

Description of Work: The Rainbird irrigation system supplied by my builder did not appear to be working. On 6/23/14 Mr. Tolson determined that the ESP SMT ("green") controller was not working correctly, possibly because the unit would not take my zip code. Also the valve/zone #1 was disabled. He returned on 6/25/14 and replaced the "green" control panel with a new Rainbird panel that worked on a much less complicated time-based clock. Mr. Tolson then instructed me on the use of the new panel. My plants started to green up within 2 days. I am very happy with Tolson Irrigation and will continue to use them in the future.

Description of Work: Called & left two voicemail messages but no return call. Called again to get an estimate for replacing/repairing existing irrigation system and was told they normally don't repair systems and wanted to charge us $71 just to come by to give the estimate. I guess they don't need the business.

 + -1 moreIrrigation system stopped working. Power was being supplied to the timer but control valve was not operating. I had used another company before to do my own repairs and they were always helpful. I found out that Tolson's is an extension of that other company and does repairs so I was comfortable using them. A tech found the control valve bad but did not have a replacement with him. Had to reschedule for replacement. Workers were fast and competent. System is now back in operation. Price was reasonable.

 + -1 moreI contacted Tolson and confirmed an appointment. I was advised Dennis, their irrigation man, would make the service call. Dennis was efficient and knowledgeable. He replaced the old timer, rewired and installed the new unit, and then found the leak in the valve box, replaced the faulty drip valve filter and regulator. Including the time to dig our the area for access to the valve, the whole job took 2 hours. Everything was done efficiently and there are no problems. Not having called anyone else, I felt Tolson's price was fair for both material and labor.
Description of Work: Drip System developed a leak at the valve box, which was caused by a worn out valve regulator. I also purchased a new Rainbird Timer which would replace the old one which was not operating correctly.

 + -1 moreI asked Greg to do an overall evaluation of the irrigation at the Theater West Townhouses, a 35 year old development. On his recommendation, the obsolete buried pipes that were always breaking and leaking were abandoned and a drip system installed to replace them. The savings in water cost was dramatic and the drip system worked without a hitch.
Description of Work: I have used Tolson at a previous home that I owned and in several Townhouse projects where I had that responsibility. They are quick and efficient and appear on schedule. I'm sure they are no the cheapest irrigation repair in town, but if you want it done right, Call Tolson
