It went very well. These coolers are on a rental property. I thought they needed to be replaced. I received quotations between $3000 and $7000 to replace the coolers and make other modifications. Temperature Control was the only company to advise me that the coolers would work well with some servicing, thereby saving me a significant amount. They were responsive when answering my questions, punctual and efficient on the date the work was scheduled and left the area clean. My tenants appear to be satisfied with the work and the performance of the units. I intend to continue to use Temperature Control for further servicing and maintenance requirements.

The installation started a little later than expected in the morning and took most of the day. The installation technicians were courteous, friendly and efficient. During the installation, there were parts and pieces all over the dining room, kitchen, back porch, etc.. However, when the two technicians were done, you could barely tell they had even been there. They also patiently demonstrated and explained the functionality of the system. System tests, such as making sure excess liquid was pumped away from the unit, were performed while I watched and were explained to me. Routine maintenance topics (e.g. filter replacement - location and how) were explained. The equipment and company warranties were also explained in depth and the warranty and manual paperwork was provided. The initial deal through Angie's list was for $3600 and specified a 3 ton unit. It was the company's opinion that for the Tucson area and our home square footage and architecture (e.g. higher ceilings) a 4 ton unit would be preferable as well as a stronger blower to move the air volume. The stronger blower required a furnace upgrade. After some research and consideration, we agreed to go ahead with the 4 ton unit and furnace upgrade. The initial amount of $3600 was applied to the final quote of $4600. The company did NOT try to "hard sell" or push the 4 ton unit and furnace purchase, but simply presented options. Since the installation, the unit has worked very well and cools the house very nicely. Also since the installation, a separate inspector was sent (from the same company) to check the initial installation, current quality of the equipment and install, as well as our satisfaction with the entire process, as part of the standard quality check that occurs as part of the plan you receive as a customer for two years (no additional charge for that initial time period). In summary, the entire process was professional and well executed. Our experience with the company was excellent and we would recommend them to our family and friends. We wanted to wait about two months to make sure our continued experience with the installation was excellent before posting, and it has been. We would be happy to purchase additional products and services from this company in the future.

Service was completed in a half hour a/c works great

All of the personnel involved from getting the estimate through the installation went very well. The representatives very knowledgable and answered all questions. We upgraded to a new energy efficient system that replaced a 19 year old unit and the entire installation went very smoothly and we would recommend them.

Joe showed up on 7/30/2014 and checked out the A/C and told me what he needed to do and that he would be back the next day he also told me that the part would cost around $230.00 , he also told me about their service contract and explained it thoroughly to me. He said that he didn't have the part that he needed so we made an appt. for the next day, he did however temporary fix so there would be no problems until he came back. On Thursday he showed up right on time and did the repair and everything is fine. We purchased the 5 year plan.

The tech does not have the part in his truck and gave me only a quote. He also spent time on persuading me to purchase a two-year A/C maintenance plan. I thought the service can be done like the the office clerk said but It turned out to be just 35-minutes quote, which cost me $99.47.

The team was on time and finished half and hour early. Did a great job and answered all my questions. Very pleased with the work and the team of installers.

We called to request an estimate on a new evaporative cooler. By the next morning the company owner, Vance, showed up right on time. Before leaving the appointment he called to confirm the availability of the evaporative cooler we were interested in and he provided a printed estimate. Within a few days the new and upgraded cooler was installed. During the installation they sealed some rusted spots in the duct work. Unfortunately, the new cooler blew some of the sealant out the ducts and onto some of the flooring and upholstered furniture. Vance and his staff very quickly scheduled and payed a cleaning company to take care of the problem. Our tenant was completely satisfied with the cleanup. A few day later our tenant reported that the cooler worked really well and they asked for a thermostat to be installed. Temp Control quickly provided a quote before installing the thermostat. Purchasing a quality cooler and having it quickly and correctly installed were our priorities. Temp Control did a great job, and it was refreshing to find a company that shows up on time, provides a quick and clear estimate, and stands behind their work. It is also really nice to support a locally owned small business. Overall, we would definitely recommend Temp Controls.

My AC fan broke on a Saturday night. I called nearly every service provider in town and they all said call back Monday. Our house was very warm and temps for the foreseeable future were over 100 degrees so we were really worried about having to live this way with our animals for days. The next morning, I called Temperature Control. Vance called me back ASAP. He said he would take care of it and would call me first thing in the morning. His office called first thing Monday morning and had me set up with an appointment for 10am-12. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. She checked to see if they had the parts and called me back right away. Juan the repairman called me at 11, said he would be there ASAP. He showed up and was very professional and had the compressor fixed in a few hours. He showed me what was wrong and was very cordial. I will use Temperature Control from now on because they were the only company who seemed to care and who showed up for me.

Vance came to the house and after I told him what I wanted, he took measurements and provided me with a printed out detailed price which included everything. Angel and Kevin did a fantastic job! I did not want the unit or any wires on the roof. They had to build their own system to satisfy my request and they did. They were professionals. I highly recommend this company.

The technician showed up within the appointment window. Assessed the problem and replaced the part (I knew that fan had gone out). The technician kept me informed about my options regarding what part I could use. The only problem I had was the technician really didn't know what to do with the Angie's List coupon, but he eventually honored the coupon. All in all a positive experience I would use these guys again.

Excellent. The owner came out and assessed our needs and provided the bid on site. I had others come out and one company was so expensive it came in triple than what Temp-Con had and the other returned a bid after my calling them! Temp-Con was by far very responsive to our needs. I was bringing my husband home from the hospital and they fit me into their busy schedule to provide cooling for us. The Guys, (Kevin, Angel and David) were here on time, worked hard all day long and completed my job that day. They left no mess for me to clean up and were very courteous. Vance and his team is superior in their customer service and workmanship. I would recommend them to everyone with great confidence. Local owned company with no gimmicks!

Went very well. A minor wiring error resulted in a prompt repair the day following the installation.

In preparation for getting the house re-roofed, wanted to get vents extended through the roof from the furnace. Needed to have an estimate and a commitment to work with the roofing company when the work was to be done. Was told there would be a charge for a service visit. I agreed. On the day of the appointment, tech called and said he was running late on another call. Wasn't really a problem as I was off work that day. Tech showed toward the end of the agreed upon 4 hr time window. Explained my concern about the venting of the furnace. Tech went above the ceiling to get measurements to work up an estimate with. Tech was courteous and knowledgeable. After several months, had not received an estimate. Called the business and was told they would have to talk to the boss to find out what happened. Waited about three weeks and called again. Eventually got an email on Jan 11 with a dollar amount, $1200, but no document describing or itemizing the work to be done. The job was a small one compared to upgrading an HVAC system but decided that if they could not respond in a reasonable time for a simple estimate, I did not feel comfortable planning on their coordinating work with a roofing company.

Our AC compressor fan died on a Friday night and I was looking for emergency repair. Temperature Control Inc advertised 24 hour service. When I called a very professional person answered provided rate information and said a technician would call shortly (which he did). The only problem I had was that the technician did not come that night even though it is advertised as 24 hr. I do not fully fault the company for this because I did not push for it. The actual work was performed on time and cost was as expected. I plan on using this company in the future.

We needed someone to come out and look at our furnace. It was cycling in attempts to turn on, without success and then it would lock out for about 3 hours. i called multiple companies to schedule a service call, and Temp-Co was the one who was able to come out the earliest (most told me it would be a week or longer), scheduling the service call for later in the week that I called. Mario was professional, he was friendly, and our house is nice and warm again. I would call this company again.

Scheduled service on HVAC - serviceman arrived on time, was pleasant and answered questions I had and serviced the HVAC - will definitely use again.

It went very well. They set start and finish dates and finished on time, cleaned up, and removed all the old duct work and trash. The two systems work great!

The experience from the time I made contact with them over the telephone through the whole experience was probably the best experience I've ever had with a service company that comes to my home in any industry. As far as the workmanship, the way the presentation went, the work they performed, the follow up and the attention to detail was phenomenal. I would highly recommend them. There were no hiccups from the very beginning when I initiated the call to the follow up. Even after the service I am pretty impressed with getting thank yous and everything.

I interviewed a number of HVAC contractors, five in total, for the job on a property I purchased in Tucson. Vance MacLeod made an extremely competitive offer, extending duct work into additional areas in the house, as well as offering insulation work as a throw in. Vance's follow up was great. He actually returned the next day to speak with me in person. He is very personable and has over 25 years experience in HVAC in Tucson. His willingness to complete the work on a tight time frame and to coordinate with my roofer (roof replacement happened directly prior to the A/C upgrade) was appreciated. Temp Con's price was not the lowest offered, but was extremely competitive. The extras they offered made it worthwhile to give them the business. It should be noted that Vance was not present for any part of the actual installation work. He sent out two individuals who were very professional and communicative. That said, I always appreciate some supervision from the owner of the business, at the very least when the job is commencing. The one issue I had with Temp Con came when they finished the job. They were a bit delayed due to the monsoon season and finished it over two days. On the second day, I had to travel out of state. The portion of my roof around the A/C unit was uncovered. They called me to let me know and claimed the skies were clear in Tucson at the time. I called the roofer who told me a monsoon was brewing! This caused a bit of a firedrill that could have been prevented if they had simply placed a tarp or plastic over the area until the roofer could make it to finish the area around their installation. Overall, a very positive experience. They're a top notch organization with a long track record.
