Sparkle Window Cleaning Service

It took many attempts to connect with someone to set up an appointment. Once I finally did, a young man showed up (yesterday) to do the job but was not familiar with Angie's coupon. He worked alone but was not able to remove all the screens from the outside of the windows. He asked me to check those windows he did wash. Most of them were pretty clean with a few streaks here and there. Upon closer inspection, I found dirty water drips, and dirt caked in the window sills of those windows that he cleaned. With the job unfinished, he left around noon saying he would return with a co-worker who would help him with the screens. The furniture was left pulled out from the wall in several rooms, the curtains balled up on the table but, more than that, he left one window screen holding my outside security door ajar, several screens laying on the ground and a few laying up against the house (even in the front!). The next day, I made two calls to the company to get a time frame for someone to finish the job. As of now (the end of the second day), I am still waiting to hear some kind of commitment. When I call, I never get an answer. I must leave a message and wait for a response.

Initial conservatiions were excellent.

The gentleman were scheduled to arrive between 12:30 - 1:30 pm. They called about 2 pm and said that they were running an hour late. They showed up at 3 pm. We have 21 windows, the majority picture windows. We were told that some of the picture windows counted as two and that the small casement windows counted for as much as six. I told them that I would do, by my count, five casements myself. They were very nice and they finished sometime after 4 pm. By that time the sun was not coming directly through any of the windows. I did a walkthrough and we even tipped them. The next morning, we were horrified! While the inside windows appeared clean the outside windows had streaks and dirt wiped all over them! They even had borders where they had not even been wiped. I wanted to call them back but my husband said he didn't think that they would do a better job so now I am left doing them myself. Never again! (I would have given them an F in quality if the insides had not been done appropriately).

They did a good job on the window cleaning. They were just really nice people to work with.

I have had my windows cleaned by others in the past but they never were as good as Sparkle. I called them on a monday & missed their return call but I had to call them 3 more days before someone got back to me again. They wanted to schedule me 3 weeks out but when I said no, they scheduled me for 2 weeks out. I never had to wait that long for an appt but I was pleased with the work.

Loved working with Sparkle. Very professional, great quality. The windows look better than when they were new. Recommend them very highly!

Tony arrived promptly as scheduled, was very courteous and professional and started immediately after a quick window and door count. He was here about 2 hours and the windows and doors were actually cleaner than I had expected. When I have cleaned them in the past there is always some small amount of streaks but after Tony's work I cannot find a streak anywhere. The price was as quoted and the home was left very neat and clean. Overall, the service exceeded my expectations and will definitely use them on a regular basis.

The team was very prompt and very nice. They had their own equipment, ie small ladders, etc. They completed their work in very short order, about an hour, much faster than I could have done it. They did an excellent job. I would recommend them as they were prompt, professional, pleasant, hard working, fast, and did an excellent job. I have never hired my windows to be washed, but I was throwing a graduation party and wanted them to be spotless, plus the time issue. If they keep their price at $49, I will definitely not being doing my own windows from now on.

They arrived cleaned the windows in and out and even did a few extras. Very good service.

One person arrived close to the appointed time (the other window cleaning service we tried had 2 people) . We had an Entertainment Deal that covered 20 windows for $29 and we paid $66 extra ($3 per window) for the remanider of the windows. The person took 2+ hours to perform the job, did not clean any tracks (as the website said they would). When I asked him about it, he said he never cleans tracks. I pursued it, and he made a remark about the price being so cheap. The windows were defintely not well done - they were just Ok - but the upper windows (on a one-story house) looked like he barely touched them. I was frustrated with the lack of professionalism (he had on a T-shirt - not a logo shirt - and jeans), only sending one person, not replacing furniture that he moved, and his sarcastic comment about the price.

Very pleased with the cleaning, the only issue I had was to change the appointment that I had originally scheduled. When I first contacted Tony by email to schedule I got an immediate response and date was set, BUT when I went to change that date by email no response, since I had no other contact information, emailing was the only option. I called Angies List to get a phone number which they gave me, I called left a message and reason for my call and a perferred date for service. Within 2 days I received an email from Tony stating the changed date would be fine and that for some reason my pervious emails went to his Spam account.On the date schedule the employee came about 20 minutes late, but perhaps his pervious job went over. He did a great job, we had moved everything away from windows to make an easier cleaning. I would definitely use them again, very quick , clean with no mess.

I will use them again in the future.

He did not complete the job as described

I purchased a GroupOn for cleaning of 10 windows for $15. It seemed too good to be true, and it was. I called and left a message to that I wanted an appointment, waited a week without hearing a thing, used the contact form on their website to ask for an appointment, waited another week, again without hearing a thing. Finally, when I went back to their website to submit another contact form, I noticed the odd behavior of the form: after it was filled and I hit Send, an email Compose box opened with their email address in the To field. So I also sent an email repeating what I had said on the contact form, including my address. I immediately received back this email message: "im sorry I haven't gotten a call or message from you. I will need your address so I know were to schedule you thank you" [sic] Obviously their online contact form doesn't work, and they don't respond to phone messages. Even though my address was clearly shown on the email they had responded to, I re-sent my address as requested, waited two days, and .... nothing. So I called them, got voicemail, and hung up, thinking I would ask GroupOn for my money back. But less than minute later, the phone rang, and it was someone from Sparkle! I was shocked. He was very nice and immediately set up an appointment for 2 days later. Robert and Amanda arrived on time (actually a little early). After they surveyed all the windows, they explained that each pane counted as a "window", so I actually had 20 windows to clean. This of course made me feel deceived, since whoever heard of that?! They said it would be an extra $30, which I agreed to pay since the overall price was still so low, and I had finally gotten them there. Although I was a little wary of Robert and Amanda when they first showed up, since they looked like random casual 20-somethings, and not like professionals (ie, no uniforms), they were very courteous and friendly, worked hard and efficiently, and did a great job on my windows. They finished in less than an hour and cleaned up after themselves. So the overall experience? At first extremely frustrating, then somewhat annoying, and then okay. I'm giving them a B over all because they did a good job on the actual service provided, but it's not really a recommendation, unless you're on a very tight budget and are very patient. If this company had better customer service and acted more professionally, I would have been happy to pay twice or three times as much for the same work.
