Well. I am a happy customer.
Description of Work: My garage flat roof (~900 sq ft) had a elastomastic sealant put on it, plus another roof coating. Before the sealant went on my roof was pressure washed and a few damaged spots were repaired. I got 2 other quotes for a roof tear-off and replacement but I felt a polymembrane that the Roof Coating Specialist suggested would be fine because my roof was not leaking. The Roof Specialists also color-matched the final roof coating so it matched my house roof---that was nice. I cannot comment on durability as it has only been a few days but the overall repair went well. It took about 3 weeks from the time I called until the repair/coating was done.

Awesome is all i can say! They came out as scheduled - on time, did their work with out any interruption to me or my day. They finished in 2 days as promised. These folks are good folks that i would recommend highly, a little more $$$ then the competitors that i asked for bid from but well worth the honest evaluation and professional repairs preformed! (They were still under my budgeted amount!) Thanks guys for a GREAT JOB! Bring on the Monsoons!!!! :)
Description of Work: I have a flat roof dwelling, it's 12 years old, i have re-coated the roof 2x in the past 12 years. It was time to have the roof completely inspected by professionals. RCS showed up shortly after my request for a bid, i think it was about 48 hours and i had a bid in hand, the other 2 companies i requested bids for came in much lower but they were not comprehensive which is what i asked for, they just wanted to wash and re-coat, RCS made the necessary repair recommendations that will give my roof some increased longevity saving me $$$ in the long run!

My husband liked the job they did on our roof. There were three spots where the sealer was on places it should not have been. My husband contacted Joe and told him, and at that time Joe offered to clean it up. Once we have our solar heat panels replaced on our roof, Joe wants us to call him so they can make sure everything on the roof is still sealed to their satisfaction due to the 5 year warranty.
Description of Work: Joe came out promptly to give us an estimate on our flat roof. The job included hosing off the roof, they put a membrane down, and coated the roof. This included the garage roof and our patio roof (2400 sq ft).

Called company and owner came to my home the same day to give an estimate. He appeared knowledgeable in all areas of roofing . Workers were on time, polite and clean. Customer service via telecon was excellent. Saved hundreds of dollars using Angie's List. Recommended them to my neighbors as well.
Description of Work: Powerwashed and scraped the roofline, sealed the based area of all protrusions, resurfaced the scuppers, removed and replaced all soft areas of the roof, installed 20 yr. cold roof layover and applied a white coating overall.

Roof Coating Specialists were my third bid for a complete re-work of our Townhome roof, that had several active leaks. They came and discussed the details of what they saw and how they proposed fixing it all. I also asked for some additional work to ensure moisture would not be trapped and they were happy to accommodate my request at no additional charge. I found them all professional, they showed up to our appointments on time and completed the work in a timely way. I would definately recommend them to anyone who needs roofing work.

We used them three years ago to do the same to the main house and were pleased with them then and are pleased with them still. When we moved our a/c off the roof of the main house, they came out at no charge and repaired the area, laid down a similar membrane to the rest of the roof and told us there was no charge because any time we did something to the roof that required repair, it was part of the service in the contract we had with them and would always be covered free of charge.
Description of Work: They laid down a membrane and coated our 800 square foot guest house, with a five-year guarantee, which can be extended to 20 years with a recoating every five years.

This was a repeat business which was done 3 years ago. When I asked for an estimate, which he never provided, he said that it was about the same. When asked about what time he would be arriving, he was non committal. When called after waiting for 4 hours he was quite belligerent and stated that he would get there when he finished the other 2 jobs. He then stated that I should quit bothering him and then I decided that he was not going to do the job and I should go find someone else. ($920.00)

[member name removed] was a prior customer, satisfied with our performance and products. At the end of his warranty period we notified him, as we do all our customers, that the expiration would soon occur. [member name removed]responded to the notification an our estimator, Joe Shepler, made a phone contact. [member name removed] insisted that prior to arriving at home a ballpark figure be given as to cost of re-coat. He was told it would be in the same price range as previous work, $900 to $1,000, which did not satisfy him. Then he insisted on a 3 to 5 min window as to when I could arrive on the property that same afternoon. I gave him an approximate time and advised that I would call when I was headed towards his home. Unfortunately this did not please him and it was determined he would seek out a different roofing contractor.

The company spent a Friday patching and power washing the 5200 sq. ft. flat roof. The roof dried over the weekend and they returned on Monday to apply the roof coating. The crew was there all day. I wasn't able to inspect the roof immediately because the white coating needed to dry. I have a 7-year warranty on this roof. At the end of 7 years, I'll need to get the roof re-coated for a much lower cost and a five year warranty. The work was done efficiently and in a professional manner.
Description of Work: The company removed my solar pool heating system and carted it away. They removed one swamp cooler, carted it away and capped the opening. They patched the roof and power washed it. After the roof had dried, they applied a white membranous coating over the entire roof and sealed around all the skylights, pipes, coolers, etc.

Fantastic! They completed the roof in 2004 and we have been thrilled. Occasionally we have had water come into our facility, but have found out that it was coming through the air conditioner. They have come out every time we have had an inclining of a problem and resolved it. Most times it wasn't even the roof. I was so thrilled I had my house roof done, my parents roof, and a co-worker has used them as well. I recommend them all of the time to my family and friends.
Description of Work: We had a new poly-membrane roof installed on our manufacturing facility. It was two different types of roof structures. They also had to remove and replace several skylights, HVAC units, and then apply a reflective white elastomeric.

THEY DID A ROOF CHECK FIRST AND FOUND THE ROTTEN SPOTS ON OUR ROOF. THEY DID VERY GOOD WORK. THEY WERE VERY PROMPT AND GOT THE WORK DONE FAST. THEY ALSO CLEANED UP THEIR MESS WHEN THEY WERE DONE.
