Description of Work: I had 5 trees trimmed. One Olive tree, 2 pine trees and 2 evergreens. The Olive tree was the most work. One of the pines trees was trimmed quite a bit. The other 3 tress didn't get as much trimming.

Description of Work: Took out mistletoe from large mesquite. Cleaned up premises as usual.

Description of Work: I had a paloverde tree that has never been trimmed. They were specialist in the field in trimming an enormous tree that was neglected.

Description of Work: I had the Quality Tree crew out to my house earlier this year to remove a dead palm tree and do some other work. This job was much more intensive - a three-day trimming and thinning of tree-growth that had accumulated probably since the house was built 25 years ago. Overall, three eucalyptus trees, two mesquite trees, and various decorative bushes and palms were sculpted from shapeless masses to gorgeous works of natural art. Mary is fantastic! She is attentive and responsive, and a fountain of botanical knowledge. Her crew is professional and respectful. One of the main goals of the work was to improve the view of the mountains from the back porch. We will definitely hire Quality Tree Service in the future and recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

Description of Work: Trim 3 large tree's (50" high) evenly. Plus tree branches up to 10 " in diameter. Take away all cuttings, leaves and debris afterwards.

Description of Work: Removed three trees and dug out stumps. Pruned and trimmed nine other trees. Hauled away debris and cleaned the area.

Description of Work: I called originally to get a new tree planted and an old one I was worried about removed. Mary came out to assess the job and gave me an estimate that included service on all the other trees. Sounded great and I got a good feel about her right away. Did not call for other stimates as the price sounded fair and I felt comfortable. Turns out old tree did not need removal and new tree that I wanted I could not find a specimen that I liked.

Cuts sprayed with bleach to seal them. Description of Work: WoW! Am I impressed with Quality Tree Services, Inc. in Tucson!!! Their name Quality sure says it all! Because 100% quality is what you get! They are PROFESSIONALS! Let me add that they are TREE EXPERTS as well. As well as TREE ARTISTS. That is important if you want your trees to look good and properly trimmed. The owner is VERY hands-on and they actually answer their phones 24-7!! That is why I chose them. My HOA wanted me to trim my palm trees. I have a 24 foot Fan Palm, and a 10 foot Date Palm. In the past I had previously used my regular non-pro gardeners to trim but they do not do shaving and do not have professional equipment nor safety practices in place, so this time I wanted to get a professional to do the job. I called several tree companies. The ONLY company that actually answered their phones directly was QUALITY TREE SERVICES! (All the others had machines on and out of the seven companies, only 1 called me back and he called back only to tell me that they don't do residential of only 2 palms). In fact, I called back Quality Tree Service a few more times with additional questions that I had and they still answered their phones directly. I never once got a machine. Mary, the owner, is very knowledgeable about trees, and not only trees, but all other plants as well. She's hands-on, which I like. She is a thorough person. She personally came to my house to meet me and to do a walk through and I had a written quote in my email within the hour. She kept in contact and was available even up to 8:00pm in the evening when I called with another "last minute question." She returns calls. She is a "get-the-job-done" kind of person, not wishy-washy. When I spoke to her, I immediately got the sense of confidence, experience, and HONESTY. She's a direct sharp shooter and I like that. You know everything you're getting. And the best thing is if you are a bit weak and wishy-washy, no worries because Mary will keep you focused! Frankly, when I called and got a woman on the phone my first instinct was that I was going to get a secretary who just knew the basics. But no, I got a very dynamic and knowledgeable and HONEST woman: Mary. She is trustworthy. And for me that is important if I am going to spend money for quality. They sent a 2-man crew who shaved and trimmed the 24 foot palm, and they also "diamond cut" and trimmed my Date Palm, and when done was just beautiful and really looks like a piece of art! They had professional equipment and special boots and fasteners (like mountain climbers wear) to ensure a safe climb up and down the tree. The workers speak English, were clean and polite, and so professional. When they arrived they got straight to work. I was concerned about my plant foliage in the planter at the base of my tree and they covered it with a cardboard box that I had here and plastic, so at the end after all the many palm fronds were on the ground, it was easy to just lift the box and plastic to avoid having then smashed by the weight of the fronds. If you are contemplating getting your palm trimmed, save yourself the risk of a huge liability by hiring a non-pro to trim your palm fronds. Have Quality Tree Service perform the job, they are not only licensed and bonded, but they KNOW WHAT THEY'RE D*** AND HAVE PROPER EQUIPMENT AND SAFETY PROCEDURES IN PLACE That is a lawsuit waiting to happen and even possible severe bodily harm of the non-pro worker (they shimmy up the tree using only a ladder). Sure they may charge less, but really is that less if they are not using professional equipment and are not professionals?

Description of Work: I had the company remove an unhealthy 25 foot tall sycamore tree and grind the stump.

Description of Work: We called Mary for an estimate and she came out within a couple of days and scheduled the work for the following week. We had our Mediterranean Palm cluster shaved, mistletoe and deadwood thinning and lifting of canopy on two large Palo Verde and removal of deadwood and 2-4ft height reduction on a large Rhus lancea so our solar panels will not be shaded. The crew was very courteous and did an excellent job cleaning up all the trimmings and additional dead leaves around some of the trees.

Description of Work: After the monsoon rains ended we found ourselves living in the center of an overgrown 4 acres. We contacted Mary Slachter of Quality Tree Services for help. We had previously used her services about four years ago with great results. Within a couple of days Mary and I drew up what I wanted done and what I could afford.. The work consisted of the following: Prune 3 large Rhus Lancea trees - Remove one dead thirty foot Eucalyptus tree - Clean up all debris from the dead tree and rake up leaves from two other Eucalyptus trees. Clean out dead leaves in an approximate 75 feet of planting areas. Removal of Mistletoe from three trees. Rake and or blow out leaves from a Pine tree in the front of house. Trim down three large Oleanders from 12 feet down to four feet.. I found Mary's crew of five worked well together I didn't see any wasted time as I have seen with other crews. People are already complimenting uson the work they did.

Description of Work: Quality Tree Service spent two full days at our house with a 3-man crew. They did major tree trimming on 5 medium sized trees and two very large trees. One of the large trees had significant storm damage and needed a few bolts to hold split limbs together. Two additional trees were taken down since they were dead (one medium and one large).

Description of Work: I asked for an estimate to trim, thin out, & cut out any crossing or dead limbs on some trees.

Description of Work: Primary job: Removal of one 40' Mesquite tree that had uprooted and fallen over after a recent storm. Removal included tree and stump removal and hauling away the wood. Secondary job: Trimmed and thinned 15' feather tree and hand-pruned several 8' oleanders by about 4' each, including hauling away the trimmings. They even did some minor trimming of some ground cover at no additional charge!

Description of Work: Best experience ever! We live out of state and maintain a home in Tucson. On a recent visit we realized we needed some issues with our trees addressed. Called and explained our situation and had and estimate in hand the same day. Had 1 palm removed and 5 cleaned up and shaved. In addition we had 3 mesquites pruned and mistletoe removed as well as minor trimming in several other areas.

Description of Work: We had a large tree that needed to come down that if not done correctly, had the potential to ruin the neighbor's house roof, our roof, our carport roof, and/or the block wall on the edge of the yard. Quality Tree Services gave us an estimate, then returned to cut down the tree, haul away the debris and left us a stack of wood for firewood.
