They were prompt and professional. The pane that was replaced was a double thickness pane where the two panes had separated and were no longer water and air sealed. The first visit was to determine the problem and measure. The install was done in less than an hour-- old window remove, new one installed and sealed.

Crew was very friendly, professional, timely, and did a terrific job to make sure the work site (our house) was cleaned up after all services were completed. Very little disruption and great results. New windows look like they were meant to be part of the original construction. A job well done!

everything went well, i contacted and got quotes from 3 different companies. (all referred by Angie's List) Open n Close was the only company that actually gave me a quote due to special wheelchair needs. I will definitely use them again.

We got bids (broken down by size of glass, thickness and bevel) from several companies---had good price from Olanders, but when we went to place the order the invoice was for substantially larger than they had quoted. But they were very good about it, remembered our conversation and pricing and charged almost what they had quoted. They had made one small error in bid pricing, and we understood that change. The cut plate safety glass was about a week delayed from when we thought it would arrive, but they did a good job of tracking it. The glass itself was flawless and exactly what we ordered.

They were very helpful and very knowledgeable. They walked us through exactly how their window systems work and the price was very competitive. For the estimate and the process of giving the information, they were very good. Their responsiveness was very good and they were very professional.

The company was punctual for an appt to provide estimate on window replacement. The estimate process was thorough and professional and was explained very well. Their price was competitive but ultimately I went with a different company.

Earlier this year my wife and I were considering replacing our 38 year-old aluminum framed single pane windows and sliding glass doors with more energy efficient ones. Around the February timeframe I received un-requested telephone solicitations from two window companies offering to provide estimates for their replacement windows & doors. Neither of these companies would provide any estimates unless my wife was present to listen to their sales pitch. My next step was to consult Angie?s List. Per Angie?s List, Olander?s Window was the highest rated window replacement contractor in Tucson, Arizona. I called Olander?s Window for an estimate. What a world of difference. The Olander?s rep, Arthur, showed up on time, demonstrated their Milgard windows, took measurements, and emailed a written estimate ? All without my wife needing to be present. To obtain a comparison, I obtained a second bid from a . I was rather surprised that it was much higher that Olander?s Window. Olander?s Window was contracted to: Remove the existing security bars from the windows & doors. Remove the old windows & doors. Install nine Milgard Styleline Vinyl Windows & two Tuscany Sliding Doors Re-install the security bars at a later date. The Olander?s Installers, Sid and Tanner did an outstanding job. They showed up on time, removed, replaced, and installed one window or door at a time, and cleaned up after they were finished. My wife was thrilled with their workmanship and cleanliness of the job site. The installed windows and doors look like an original installation. While Tucson temperatures have only been in the high 90s so far, our air conditioner is not running as frequently as it was with the older windows. If you are looking for replacement windows, call Olanders and forget about the rest of the other window contractors in Tucson. It will save you lots of time and your wife does not need to be present.

Super job from start to finish.

Two workmen showed up on time and then spent most of the day taking out the window and replacing it. The Window is high up on the second floor, and is in a triangle shaped dormer area that extends out of the roof. None of the angles are right angles, all cuts, etc are in a very hard place to reach. Also We have a highly slanted metal roof. This was not your normal window replacement. When they left, the area was painted in white, and you could not even tell anyone had been in the room. They covered the entire work area with a drip cloth. It seemed like they went up and down our stairs a hundred times cutting various pieces of wood or metal. Our stairs our lined with hundreds of photographs. They did not disturb a one. They did not even take time out for lunch. They worked hard to install this difficult to replace the window. The original window was leaking and that is the reason we replaced it.

They were tidy and they cleaned up. They were timely and they were on time. The windows seem to be holding up. We’ve had a lot of rain and we haven’t had any problems with them so far; that’s a good thing. My neighbor recommended them to me and I would recommend them as well. We have been very happy and we will probably use them again because we have some other windows we need to replace. We might have found the windows cheaper but we couldn’t have gotten the quality that we did.

I stopped by their Speedway location asking if they did glass replacement on windows. I showed them a picture of my window. I was told they no longer carry glass inventory and it would take a week or so before they could get it in stock. It appeared as if they were selling more replacement windows and doors and no longer selling replacement glass. Had to look elsewhere for the glass and installation help I required. They shouldn't advertise that they offer replacement glass ...if it's not going to be a stock item. It's frustrating for the consumer.

.We decided not to use them because their prices were to high to replace a whole house of windows. probably about 18 windows. They were professional and on time very polite as well. it was their prices that we decided not to use them.

Olander was awesome. Arthur was a good no-pressure salesman unlike other companies we interacted with.Tony who does the measurements and installed our door was careful and displayed high levels of craftsmanship. We will definitely go with Olanders the next time around.

We are so happy that we chose Olander's Windows and Doors for out whole house window replacement. The windows are of the utmost quality and the installation was a positive and easy experience. The workers arrived on time each day, behaved professionally and were pleasant to have in our home. They did the work with the least amount of disruption possible and did a wonderful job cleaning up as they proceeded and as they finished each day. The windows look amazing and perform exactly as we were told when we got the estimate for the work. We would definitely use Olander's again if we had a project such as this to do and highly recommend them to others considering window replacement.

I did not use them to replace my windows. They were very quick. They weren't the lowest bid that I received. I went with another company instead of them.

Called for estimate with 3 different companies. Olanders had the best quality windows at the best price. Replaced 5 windows in October and came back and replaced the last two on December 31st. They fit me infor my last visit on New Year's Eve to insure that I would be able to still qualify for the tax credit in 2010. Installation went quickly and cleanly. First visit, replacement took about 5 hours to replace all 5 windows. Two gentlemen were extremely professional and worked quickly and very cleanly. Two windows were ordered incorrectly (without grids). Called the office and informed them of the issue. They went ahead and installed the windows and immediately placed the glass replacement on order. They were professional and courteous and apologetic for the error. Second visit the same team came out and quickly replaced the windows with the correct ones (with grids). Also, measurements were taken of the last 3 windows I chose not to replace until 2011 so that they would be on file and I could just place the order whenever I was ready. Third visit, different technician came out to replace the last two windows. He worked very cleanly but took about 5 hours to replace just these last two windows. He was very courteous and professional but a little slower (perhaps was new?). Another technician came out to help briefly however it took quite a bit longer than expected. Overall, the work was completed cleanly and the windows look great. My stucco was not disturbed. I will be calling them back to replace the last 3 windows. I would recommend them as they have great quality windows and great customer service.

I was somewhat hesitant at first as Olander's is not BBB accredited. I also had a less than ideal experience with the first person who came out to do a price estimate in January. He failed to break down the estimate as promised and eventually stopped answering my e-mail inquiries. In addition, during a visit to the Olander showroom, I was disappointed by the salesperson who was unable to provide me with a written copy of the NFRC specifications for the windows they sell (I was told to look them up on the internet) and assured me that their vinyl windows did not contain any recycled material (the vinyl actually contains 8-10% preconsumer recycled content). However, I really liked the Milgard windows, not the least because of their recycled content, their very generous lifetime warranty (including labor and parts) and the fact that they are manufactured in Arizona. I decided to risk it based upon my past good experiences with businesses recommended by Angie's List. In addition, the second Olander estimator who came out was knowledgeable and organized without being pushy. Despite a bit of doubt when I was asked to make a $3000 advance payment without being given a receipt in return, I have not regretted at all my decision to work with this company. They were very flexible and helpful in working with my personal deadline and I was extremely impressed by the hard-working, polite and experienced installation crew. These guys clearly know what they are doing and are no slouchers, skipping lunch and finishing the job in 2.5 days instead of the originally scheduled 4. They worked easily around my messy house and cleaned up after themselves. The team also was very flexible about returning later to reinstall the metal security bars, giving me time to finish painting them. I appreciated that they asked for permission before placing a yard sign in front of my house advertising their company and also the fact that they recycle all their aluminum window frames. Finally, I learned also that these vinyl windows are developed and tested in Phoenix to specially resist the desert heat, something that is not true of other windows which risk melting. The windows look great and my house feels significantly more comfortable. I would recommend this company to anyone in the Tucson area who is interested in replacement windows.
