Description of Work: replaced two sliding windows (a 5x5 foot bedroom and a 16 inch x 4 foot bathroom window above the tub/shower) where the seal had failed between the two panes of glass. They did not have to remove the existing window frames (which would have meant extensive stucco repair) - they had a complete package (double pane window with seal between) that was inserted into the existing frame. We are very happy with the result. And we didn't have to sit through a 4 hour "sales presentation" when all we wanted to do was replace two windows. Two of the other companies we called to get bids from had VERY LONG sales pitches.

Description of Work: They took off all of the external wrought iron bars and hauled them away. They took out the old windows and installed the new ones that had been measured down to the 10th of an inch. Then came the hard part, caulking around them. It was done meticulously and patiently. It was over 100 degrees and, of course, we had no windows and there was no place for the workers to get cool. It took 2 days and the last day they were not done until 7 pm. The windows are beautiful and we will enjoy them for many years. One window was defective and the defect was so small that we might not have noticed it. They made arrangements for the factory to replace it at our convenience. Well done, Olanders.

Description of Work: They installed a shower door in our guest bathroom. They called to let us know when they would arrive in the window of time provided. They worked efficiently and yet ensured quality. We had to call them back twice to adjust the door and they responded the next morning both times and the last time did the trick. The door works great!!

Description of Work: Arthur is great to work with and Matt did an excellent job of measuring and installer the glass door and panels on our newly renovated shower. My husband was convinced that we'd have a problem with water going under the door or passing between the door and the panel, but we haven't had a problem with that at all. We are very pleased with our glass shower door and glass panels. We could have spent less with another company, but we know that we would not have gotten the same quality materials or install. Great job guys!

Description of Work: I received an estimate to not just replace a set if windows in my old home, but also renew all the framing as it had become rotted beyond repair. In my estimation the job looks rather complicated and difficult. They were willing to under-take it though, knowing full well what they were getting into. They gave me a reasonable quote for the work. In the end, I opted to have more of a remodeling contractor do the work. No complaints about Olanders at all. They were very professional.
