We went with Northridge Home Services, owned by Bill Belobraydic. It took a few months to get the building plans (very professionally done), the City permit, and our HOA approval. Once in place, the work started. It took five weeks to get the job done. Bill does kitchen and bath renovations, and has several jobs going at once. Our deck is obviously not a "critical" space, so the time delay didn't really concern my wife or me. We were in good hands with Bill and his crew (Glenn, Brett, and Dale). All of these guys were experienced pros. They did NOT cut any corners. Everything they did was explained and they paid extreme attention to detail. All of them were polite, honest, and conscientious. The completed job exceeded all of our expectations. I suspect the job was more involved than Bill had anticipated, but he stuck to the written estimate. Even the City inspector complemented the crew on the solid job they had done. The entire structure was rebuilt from the footings up and looks really nice. Would definitely use Northridge again in the future.
Description of Work: We had a pre-existing second floor deck, off of our master bedroom. It was in disrepair and was leaking onto the patio below. Since it needed to be completely re-built anyway, we decided to have an overhead shade structure built. The deck faces due west, so it gets blowtorch hot during much of the year. We got three estimates from builders specializing in porches and decks, using Angie's List. All three contractors showed up when they said they would and provided us with written estimates.
No complaints... always available to my phone calls, always did what he said he would do, always showed up on time, went the extra mile and did tasks for free if they were not in the original quote, finished as expected and did a fantastic job!
Description of Work: Remodeled bathrooms, tile, countertops, fixtures, lighting, flooring, painting.Layed wood floors throughout house. Replaced sliding glass door.

Bill and his associated "A" team of Dale and Jason gutted our kitchen, made structural changes to the entries, walls and ceilings, and then finished all prep for cabinet installation, appliance, electric, and plumbing installation, new tile floor installation, and backsplash. My husband, who is a perfectionist, after reviewing and interviewing all bidders on the job, felt that Bill would do the best job -at the best quote. He was right. Above the really professional and courteous services, Northridge is ALL about customer satisfaction. While installing my refrigerator, the cabinet for it was too small. Bill to the rescue. He worked with the original installer to fix the problem, and I was even able to maintain the warranty on the cabinets. Amazing! Look no further for quality and service that go beyond the call. We will be using Bill and his "A" team for bathroom renovations in the near future.
Description of Work: Bill and his team gutted and renovated our kitchen, added archways to an existing door, put in a new tile floor in the laundry, kitchen and entry way, finished and painted the kitchen walls and installed new lighting. Bill and his team even gave us some design ideas that turned out extremely well. Do go to Angie's list for the best contractors. That is where I found Northridge. Do have your ideas set. Do your homework on any plumbing, gas or electrical considerations. Don't treat the work team with anything other than respect and consideration. Communicate. Communicate. Communicate

This is the third time I have used Northridge LLC and recommend the company highly. Bill, the owner, and his crew are great to work with.
Description of Work: After Northridge completed a complete remodel on my home, see recent review on 1958 home, I sold my condo/townhome and it needed some minor fixes completed for the buyer prior to closing. Conduit needed to be installed on some wiring in closets, that a previous owner had put in, as well as a treatment needed on the wiring in the breaker box. Northridge did the work on time and it looked great.

From the day Bill arrived to estimate the job, he and his work crew were punctual, courteous, and professional. They went to great efforts to clean up their work area every day, and most especially after demolition. The work crew always consulted us before turning off the water or leaving to purchase a supply. They worked tirelessly. We are extremely pleased with their performance and the quality of their work. We would recommend Northridge unhesitatingly.
Description of Work: We selected Northridge Home Services because of its excellent reviews on Angie's list and were not disappointed. We asked Northridge to update our worn bathroom with new fixtures and surfaces. Bill provided us with a speedy estimate . At his suggestion we outsourced the tub surround and the countertop installation, and purchased our own bathroom items. He recommended products and places to shop, or gave us his opinion when something wouldn't work. We had plenty of time to shop because we didn't want our work begun for several months. We kept in touch by emails until construction began. Northridge did all the demolition and installation except for the tub surround and countertop. Work included installation of new toilet and tub, faucets and handles, plumbing, mirrors, tile work, wall prep, and painting. Bill also coordinated installation dates with our countertop/tub surround installers.
About the work: We hired Bill, Northridge Home Services, for this project because of a previous job he had completed in our condo to repair the ceiling. His cost, quality of work and high ratings on Angie's list were why we hired him to remodel our new house. Bill and all of his crew are professional hard working, courteous. They were focused on the job, but always took time to talk and answer questions. Bill is always accessible by phone, easy to talk to, very knowledgable regarding construction or design questions. He is very skilled in all aspects of his trade. The tile work was completed beautifully, perfectly aligned, very small grout lines. Window installations were clean looking, all window sills look great. All drywall, plastering was smooth-very professionally done. Everything throughout was completed to our satisfaction, any problems(very few) were solved immediately. We asked Bill for suggestions and he provided professional advice for creative design and construction quality so that all work was done completely to code. His creative design ideas were much appreciated: closet lights, bypass doors, recessed lighting, window remodeling to specify a few. All plumbing, electrical work, construction materials were done with quality and pride of workmanship.
Description of Work: We purchased a 1958 double brick 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on the east side of Tucson. Most of the house was original: rolling shutters, newer roof and dual cooling had been installed within the past 10 years. In approximately 1974 an outdoor porch had been converted to a side by side Arizona room and workshop. We began by contracting for a few remodeling projects but ended up with a complete remodel. This occurred as issues surfaced and in seeing the quality and cost effectiveness of work completed by Northridge Home Services. Electrical: complete house rewiring, all to code. A secondary circuit was eliminated, all wiring made to a main box. A 220 circuit installed for electric dryer hook up, 20 amp service to the newly remodeled workshop. All 2 plugs upgraded to 3 prong grounded plugs, GFI's installed near all sinks. Kitchen under cabinet LED lighting installed. Recessed lighting throughout house with exception of bedrooms and living room. Living room ceiling fan installed. Lights installed in all closets. New outlets to many interior walls. In the back, external motion sensor flood lighting by workshop/AZ Room, and outdoor lights by each of 3 additional external doors. Both bathrooms had new exhaust fans installed. Plumbing: plumbing completely replaced, all to code. House was purchased with galvanized plumbing, evidence became clear for the need to replace all pipes as drywall removed for other projects. New P-traps installed for laundry, kitchen both bathrooms. Owner purchased toilets installed. All under sink plumbing connections, new fixtures to sinks, tub, shower. Kitchen: the kitchen and bathrooms prepped for cabinet install by Northridge. All cabinetry purchased and installed by Lowes. Bill completed all under sink plumbing connections. Old kitchen exhaust fan completely removed, ceiling repaired. Exhaust from above stove microwave installed to roof connection. Ducting: new ducting in bathrooms, dining room and into kitchen as old ducting routes removed in process of bathroom remodel. Mechanical Room: Bill completely removed water heater, reinstalling to drain to externally installed new drain pipe, all to code. Closets: 3 bedroom closets were remodeled as all were small, needing expansion. An end of hallway cabinet was removed and given to the master bedroom closet. In the other 2 bedrooms, both internal closets were opened up into one room, the other room closed by a new wall. Another internal wall was then built into the 3rd bedroom, creating a new closet space. This same wall was partially enclosed so that a new coat closet, opening from the living room could be created. The original hall/coat closet was closed to the hall and opened to expand the main bathroom. All closets had new bypass doors installed. Bathrooms: tile removed, bathtub, toilet, sinks removed. Tub, toilet installed, new 4" white tiling installed to tub surround and master shower. Shower door installed. Shower, tub and sink fixtures installed and connected to new piping. All new drywall, plastered-readied for paint. Master bathroom door originally had pleated door, this was replaced by regular door. Tiling: 20" tiling installed to entire house. Bill removed all original floor-carpet and vinyl, all floor was prepped and repaired. We chose a brick pattern, careful planning was then made by Northridge for best design from front door, entry into dining room, kitchen, hall and bedrooms. Baseboards installed throughout house. Arizona room/workshop: A new wall was created to expand workshop, removing space from Arizona room. The workshop was entirely drywalled, plastered, ready for paint. Concrete slab floor repaired and leveled. Opening in wall cut for new room air conditioner, air conditioner installed. Walls sound proofed using a special material made from blue jeans. The Arizona room needed all old wood paneling removed from walls and ceiling, new insulation placed in ceiling, the drywalled. All walls drywalled, plastered, ready for paint. Window openings reconfigured. Special design feature: between the remodeled arizona room and dining room Bill designed bypass doors to fit in 4 door sequence-being completely movable to give owner choice in how much to leave open or closed. Siding: siding needed to be repaired and reconfigured to match Arizona room/workshop external walls. This was subcontracted by Bill. Doors: all external doors replaced with solid metal doors, frames rebuilt. Security doors installed to 3 external doors. Windows: all windows throughout removed and placed by dual panes. Living room and Arizona room windows needed remodeling. Rolling shutters removed, reconfigured and replaced to match new window/wall designs. Gas line: as part of workshop remodel, gas line was rerouted to single house entry, all to code. Owner purchased: kitchen cabinets and appliances, tile and grout, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, external doors and security doors, outdoor lights except for back yard flood lighting. We also purchased toilets, living room ceiling fan and shower door.

Bill from Northridge Home Services is truly amazing. His bid came in lowest, yet I feel his work is probably better than I would have had from any of the other bidders. He and his crews arrived on time each & every day they came, they did great work: demo-ing the original kitchen, cutting out the new arched opening, closing in the old door, changing out the A/C ducts, putting in new light fixtures which include canned lights, rope lighting on top of cabinetry, under counter lighting, a pendant & a fan/light. Also they installed new tile, all of the new cabinetry, did all of the drywall, texturing, painting, the WHOLE deal. The guys on his crew are very professional, polite, knowledgeable about each of their field and a true delight to have in my house. Also Bill COULD NOT be more accommodating......all of the extra stuff I asked him to do....no problem, he just takes care of it. I HIGHLY recommend Northridge Home Services and especially Bill.
Description of Work: A total kitchen remodel was done, my original kitchen was gutted, then a new one installed. Also a doorway was closed in and a large arch into the kitchen was put in.

I can update my report when I actually have some work completed from this company.
Description of Work: I contacted Northridge Services LLC for an estimate regarding repair work for a family / Arizona room beamed ceiling repair. I found Bob to be very easy to speak with, he was clear and concise with what needed to be done, and he was happy to answer any questions I had regarding the repair work needed. In order for the work to be started, I will need to contract with an roof contractor to track some roofing issues. I received a written proposal / bid from Northridge Services LLC very quickly and was very pleased with the quote. I intend to use Northridge Services LLC for planned work on one property, but also in my own home for future remodeling & repairs. I have come away feeling a solid confidence in this company.

Absolutely fabulous. He was prompt, clear about what needed to be done, well-equipped with plumbing I was missing, and did a great job. He responded within a day (I was lucky--he's busy!), and I felt undercharged me, so I made him take extra money. I'll be using him again.
Description of Work: He fit vanity plumbing together, including cutting tile to get into the wall plumbing, and then assembling all the plumbing under the vanity (vessel sink, vessel-filler faucet, p-trap, etc).

I like the fact that anytime I ask him for help he is willing to help. My house is on the market and in fact I just texted him the other day asking him who he would suggest for a roofer because he doesn’t do roofing. So he is still my go to man in Tucson. I think his price is very fair and I was very pleased with his quality of work. His professionalism is incredible.

We had a garage converted into an extra living space and Bill did an excellent job! The quality was superb and Bill is the nicest guy and very honest. We had a quote from another company before we called Bill and the estimate was $50,000!! Bill listened to what we wanted and our budget and came up with a plan. When we are ready to build a garage we will without hesitation call Bill. I would recommend him to anyone!

Excellent company to work with. Bill and his workers take pride in their work and produce a first class product. Workers are professional, punctual, and knowledgeable of their trade. Work site was cleaned every evening before departure and caused as little disruption to the rest of the household as possible.
Description of Work: Master bathroom remodel. Removed old shower, tub, vanities, and necessary portions of walls to access and reconfigure plumbing and electrical. Plumbed and wired for new sinks, tub, shower, and light fixtures. Framed new linen closet with integrated pocket door, closet door, and decorative arch. Additionally framed new pony walls for shower enclosure. Closed it all up with new drywall and concrete backer board, then textured walls to match remaining original walls. Installed new sinks/fixtures, tub/fixtures, shower fixtures, electrical fixtures, and exhaust fans. Installed pocket door, closet doors, and door trim. Clarifying notes: Price included labor and construction materials (lumber, drywall, electrical wire, etc.). Owner provided all major "finish" items (tub, vanities, sinks, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, doors, wood trim, etc.) at additional cost. Owner did all painting and staining. All tile work was performed by another contractor at additional cost that the owner was referred to by Northridge Home Services.
We do not believe we could have found a better contractor or person than Bill Belobraydic to work with on this large and potentially very stressful whole home reno/remodel. Northridge Home Services, LLC did an excellent job in a very timely fashion with attention to detail and patience and concern for our wants/needs/demands on their time/efforts. We both have been in the insurance adjusting profession for over 30 years and have worked with a lot of contractors. We've recently ( in the past 3 years) renovated/remodeled 2 other homes besides this one. We wish we'd met Bill and his crew before we had those jobs done. The quality of Northridge's work far exceeded the performance of those other contractors. We'd recommend Northridge to our friends/family and customers without hesitation. Thanks again to Bill and his crew for a job very well done!!

Treat inside/outside for bug control. Checked all work and installs to make sure everything was done right and worked properly. EXCELLENT JOB OVERALL BY BILL AND HIS CREW!!!!!!!!
He started as my contractor.....Finished up as my FRIEND. Everytime I thought there was a problem.... Bill would say with his gentle kindness.... "Sweet Heart, don't worry. I will take care of it." AND? He did! Remodeling a foreclosure could be stressful. Not for me! Bill had everything taken care of. Six months afterwards...My husband's job relocated us! I asked Bill to come out & do some simple fixes. I put the house on the market & within 20 days it SOLD! They were so impressed with the new kitchen. Thank You Bill!
Description of Work: After reading POSITIVE reviews about Northridge I decided to have Bill come to our newly purchased foreclosure for estimates. As was very happy with the estimates. He started right away. The kitchen was demolished. The cabinets, walls, floors, etc. He raised the ceilings. Replaced the entire Polybuteline pipes. He tore out a wall... The kitchen cabinets & granite counter tops look AMAZING!!! He installed the wooden floors, the sliding barn door, replaced the window. Installed the kitchen appliances. You get the picture. He did ALOT OF WORK!

Everything was finished in a timely manner. Bill and his crew were receptive to my wants and needs as well as my changes to the original plan. They had some great ideas as well. Bill added many jobs that weren't on the original contract which I appreciate and at no extra charge.
Description of Work: Complete kitchen gut and remodel, including moving plumbing for sink and fridge, running gas line for stove, removing walls, reroute HVAC and of course installation of cabinets, flooring, lighting, appliances, etc., and supervision the installation of the countertops.
The project went very well and was completed in four weeks (one week was just waiting for the quartz countertop fabrication and installation). Bill coordinated the work around the delivery of the major items (e.g. cabinets, tile) to minimize kitchen downtime. The demolition and wall modification went very well. Bill and his crew made sure the rooms were sealed off from the rest of the house and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. Upon delivery of the cabinets, Bill immediately went to work installing the base cabinets so that the countertop measurement scheduling could be done. He spent a lot of effort ensuring the cabinets were level so that there would be no issues regarding the countertop fabrication and installation. This attention to detail by Bill and his crew was visible on every task (drywall, electrical, painting, tiling, etc.) and, when there were questions, I was immediately contacted and offered options to enable quick resolutions. They are a very talented group and I look forward to working with them again.
Description of Work: The work encompassed a complete kitchen/family room remodel. This involved the demolition of the existing kitchen, modification of a wall between the family room and kitchen to open the area (required installation of a laminated beam), installation of kitchen cabinets, installation of all new appliances, installation of tile flooring and new baseboards, installation of glass tile backsplash, replacement of fluorescent lighting with recessed lighting, moving the exhaust fan ducting for relocation of the island cooktop, and painting the ceilings, walls and wood trim in all the rooms.
The first day that I met with Bill, I was pleased with his suggestions about the kitchen remodel. Having spent 30 years in real estate, I knew instantly that he had great judgement and knew what he was talking about, as well as being enthused about his work. When his bids came to me a short time later, I was very pleased. This house was built in 1978, and had never been remodeled, so the improvements were desperately needed My husband and I bought the house when it was new, a few years later my husband passed away, so as a widow I have lived here many years. I lived in the house the entire time the remodeling was taking place. It was nerve wracking, but I am happy to say, that through all the time the work was in progress, I was never frustrated nor disappointed with the work. All the guys that work on Bill's crew were good at what they do, respectful of my needs (and my dog too.) They came promptly in the morning and left promptly in the evening after doing clean up for that day's work. I liked everyone and trusted everyone. Moist of all, I am estatic with the results. I was so afraid that I wouldn't be able to afford the project, Bill made all that possible. He helped guide me as to which places were the best to shop for materials, which was big help. You can't do better than NORTHRIDGE HOME SERVICES. Sincerely, Evelyn Powers

Bill Belobraydic and his crew at Northridge Home Services are top notch. The experience Bill brought to our kitchen remodel project helped us materialize our dream. Bill's input and attention to detail in the design / cabinet selection phase was invaluable. He made suggestions and recommendations that enabled us to utilize the most of the space we had. With Northridge we transformed a squashed '70's kitchen into a modern, efficient, and quite attractive space. Bill's approach and attitude was one of encouragement and understanding. Bill listened to our ideas and worked to make those come true. The finished kitchen matched our vision - what more could you ask for? Unexpected encounters with a few quirky features of our 70's home didn't slow the pace and were resolved without complaint. Challenges ignited energy and imagination. Never was there a moment when Bill and his crew were stumped - they always had a solution. Shortcuts were not part of the work ethic. Getting the work done right was. We always knew when and who was coming to work - no surprises. Our project was completed on schedule and in fine fashion. Bill Belobraydic is a man of integrity and a genuinely nice person. We will definitely use Northridge again and heartily recommend Northridge Home Services to all.

He did the job but certain stages of the work required monitoring by our architect and by us for the work to be done to spec according to the plans submitted to the City of Tucson. Our sense was that he was not accustomed to an architect reviewing each stage of the work first with us and then with him. I would not have let him do it all by himself and me not do research and follow him along. His forte, the framing, was outstanding. Other aspects, performed by subcontractors - foundation, electrical, roofing, and stucco - did need correction and he and his subcontractors addressed those issues. The initial published review, that I have amended, was done briefly by telephone and solicited by Angie's list just recently. I will never do a telephone interview again but rather will complete a full report on any contractor with whom we work. I probably would not be able to recommend this company for the work done at that time. Clearly, this is an old(er) report and may not reflect the business owner's performance or that of his subcontractors more recently. His own team was courteous and hard-working and it was clear from the cheerful interaction among his immediate workers that they enjoyed working with each other and supported each other during the job.
Description of Work: Northridge Home Services LLC constructed a room addition including grading for foundation, concrete foundation, framing, drywall, electrical, finishing interior, and tile roofing.

It took you 2 years to write this report? The only knowledge you had is what you got off the internet. How dare you slam me now after 2 years and telling me you were 100% satisfied at the time of completion.

Vanity, carpentry, drywall and shower install are fine, however the shower drain pushes up the shower floor slightly so there is pooling around the drain. Shower control sticks out too far - looks ugly . I was told there is not room to move the shower control farther back because it would come out the wall on the other side. I have pictures of the control during the install and there appears to be plenty of room. Aren't these things made to fit in a wall? When doing estimate I was told the grout and tile would be cleaned by a "machine". All that was done was to soak the tile with sealer. Tile actually looks worse now.
Description of Work: Tear out cast Iron tub and replace with shower and shower surround kit. Extend wall on both sides so shower would fit. Install a vanity (vanity top installed by another company). Move 1 outlet. Clean bathroom tile and grout.

When this project was complete, the customer was told that if the shower valve or the floor was an issue, he was to call me and I would correct the problem. Instead, he hides behind the computer and slams the quality of work. I removed a 2" thick tile and plaster wall and installed a 1/8" low cost shower enclosure. With a 2" X 4" wall ( Typically a plumbing wall is 2" X 6" construction) there is no room for a 4 1/2" valve to be flush on the inside. The floor needs to be stripped, the estimate says to refinish the floor not strip and refinish, again this was an attempt to save money but blame the contractor. The drain pooling water, well it's a 1/8" low cost shower enclosure. Need I say more. Why did this customer not call me back? I would have corrected these issues, but instead, He chose to hide behind the computer and slam my company. I am more than willing to correct any problem with any job, but if I find out there is a problem from a bad report on Angie's List, How is that fair?
