They were easy to work with and communicated well every step of the way. I was very nervous because this was the first major project I had done on my home.

This contractor is a GEM. Do NOT hesitate to hire him. Professional, courteous, clean, he and his crew did and awesome job and he oversaw most of the job himself. He even did a few extra things for no charge, and on top of that had great ideas that we hadn't thought of!! I would have him back in a heartbeat. Call Jim, you will not be disappointed!

Great experience with Northridge! The crew showed up on time every day and did an excellent job on our shower and bathroom remodel! They were friendly and professional, and would recommend them to friends and family for this work.

However, the project was cancelled a few days later due to an unexpected complication. Had this not happened, I was prepared to give the job to Bill.

The work was outstanding!!! Started on Tuesday, finished on Saturday A.M. The 2 men were friendly and efficient. They worked around any issues that arose. In other words, these are the people you'd want doing work in your house. The price was reasonable and the outcome was excellent! I would look forward to working other jobs thru this firm.

He came over a few months ago to provide an estimate for enclosing/finishing our garage. He was very kind and professional. After a few emails, we finally set up a date to have the project completed--several weeks away. A couple of weeks before he was to come out, we had an unexpected expenditure-we needed a new roof. I contacted him by email, informed him of the situation, and told him we'd have to postpone until we saved up the money again. He was very understanding, stating to contact him when we were ready. I contacted him again by email. Because of my schedule, I asked if he could complete the project during the last week of September or the first two weeks of October. His reply stated he'd be here the "first of October". I contacted him on September 30, 2013 as I hadn't heard from him, asking him what time I could expect him the next day. His response was, "When I said the first of October, I didn't mean the first day." He stated he could possibly get to us in a couple of weeks. My husband and I spent the entire weekend cleaning out the garage, and stored items in our backyard and inside the house. I didn't want to leave our belongings outside for a couple of more weeks and we were not about to fill up the garage and empty it out again. Very disappointed. I informed him of that, and he said he understood and apologized. I thought this was very unprofessional of him. Who sets a date by saying "I'll be there the first of October" and it not mean the first day? What did he mean? The first half of October, the first week of October, the first full in October moon? After our email conversation, I wondered why my appt. was "open" and not set. Who says I'll be there in a couple of weeks? This is why I joined Angie's List--so that I would know what to expect!

Fast, clean, efficient, on time. Would use again without question.

Bill arrived as scheduled and was professional and thorough. He provided an estimate in a couple of days. Unfortunately he is so popular and has so much work he estimated he could not get to the job until after the New Year. We selected another contractor who could do the job before then.

I had a temporary shade structure that fell apart after two years in the hot AZ sun. Having a wood structure that is sturdy and long lasting has made enjoying the outside much nicer. Only downside was the roofers were pretty busy and took extra time to get them scheduled to finish the shingles.

Outstanding job! I was picky on the stain color of new wood ceiling; Bill and his crew experimented with me and changed the original stain they brought to the one I wanted. They were punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. This was a tricky job due to room anomalies. I got EXACTLY what I wanted. I have used Bill before and will do so again. Price was very fair; I highly recommend Northridge.

What a pleasure dealing with ethical people. They showed up right on time (catching us by surprise!), worked around our schedule, and did a fine job on some major house surgery. I am a longtime DIYer, but this job was too much for me; Northridge made sure we were satisfied.

They showed up when they said they would, cleaned up when they were done, were polite while they were here. Took a while longer than I hoped, but considering the scope of the work, and how disruptive putting in a kitchen is, they made the experience as good as possible. As a matter of fact, bill will soon be putting in a new bathroom for us.

Outstanding in every respect. Bill and his team did a great job. We got three quotes. Bill offered the lowest price, but we actually chose him because he seemed the best, so the low price was just a bonus. The guys on his team are all friendly, punctual, professional and competent. We felt comfortable having them come and go in our house when we weren't around. The work is extremely high quality. Everything came out even better than we expected. There were a couple of minor issues that came up (e.g. a drawer that didn't fit around a pipe and needed to be worked on) and Bill listened and got things fixed right away. We would recommend Northridge without hesitation.

Bill and his crew did a very good job remodeling our kitchen. One of our neighbors had their kitchen done by Northridge and they were very pleased so we had some idea of the quality. Bill listened to our concerns. As an example, he provided a temporary sink while we awaited the granite countertop. He made good suggestions and when unexpected problems came up, he was able to come up with solutions. The job was done in a timely fashion. My wife and I have other projects planned and we probably will hire Northridge for these as well.

The job was a remodel of a quite large screened-in Arizona Room. The remodel consisted of removal of window in existing exterior block wall, installation of new door in existing exterior block wall, build two walls with 2 sliding windows. New walls had exterior siding, insulation and drywall with new exterior door. Several new modern electrified outlets. Plus a security iron door. Also a roof repair. The price quote was very reasonable. Bill has every tool known to humankind. Bill obviously knows his business and the art of coordinating and multi-tasking. He was never stymied or uncertain. Bill worked solo when only one worker was needed. When more than one was needed, his workers magically appeared, with up to 4 crew on the job. Bill and his crew even had ?uniform? Northridge Home Services T-shirts, and they knew when to walk gingerly at the job site. All existing items in the room were carefully moved if needed, and covered with plastic for protection. The room has three new doors and they made sure all the locks can use the same set of keys. It is an understatement to say that I got more value than I expected. Bill went way beyond his call of duty. There were several nagging minor repairs which fall under the category of ?It would be nice for these to be corrected? which I had been putting off, and I had planned to continue putting off. I did not have these in the contract because I was trying to keep the overall cost down. Bill fixed them all- at no additional cost to me; there were 8 to 10 of these. In the roof repair Bill replaced a much larger area than needed ? to make sure I would have no future problems. The omnificent Bill thought it would be nice to have some extra outlets; he installed these at no extra cost. He carefully explained to me the generous warrantees on everything. Bill and his crew are nice, very polite and a pleasure to work with. The time to complete was estimated to be two weeks; they finished in five days. Immaculate clean up; no cutting corners here. I will definitely be calling Bill again for more work in the future. In light of all the unexpected little repairs and niceties, I know without any doubt that I saved a TON of money by using Northridge Home Services. I never knew of Bill nor Northridge Home Services before finding them on Angie?s List.

They came on time fully prepared and finished the job within one day. They cleaned up after themselves. A first class job.

I had bought a house that was constructed in 1954 and it was in serious need of a total bathroom remodel. My first mistake was hiring someone who was referred to me by a "friend" who was not a licensed contractor. I don't know where to begin with that, but let me just say the entire bathroom needed to be regutted and the work started over. Needless to say, I was traumatized. I found Bill and Northridge Homes on Angie's List. I had received another estimate, but after my first go around with the remodeling from h***, I felt I needed to go with someone who I felt I could trust. Bill was that person. He just pretty much tells you like it is, doesn't sugar coat, and doesn't try to over sell himself. He is just straight up to the point, and his word is his word. The people who work for him were always on time, are respectful of the fact that it is your home they are in, are very professional, and do the job right the first time...like it should be. Not only did they do the job right, they also fixed things that were going on with routing of the plumbing between the kitchen and bath. Not because it had to be done, but because it just wasn't the way it was suppose to be. Enough said. After making such a fool decision the first time around, I felt I needed to ask about a hundred questions. And you what, Bill answered them all. He was always gracious when taking my calls and I felt it was a true working relationship. I would not hesitate to use Bill and Northridge Home Services again. As a matter of fact, when I get ready to remodel my kitchen, Bill will be the only one I call. End of story.

We had a very tight 3 month timeline in which to get this remodel completed. Bill and his crew completely went above and beyond getting this whole project finished so that we could move into the house by the end of March. I cannot speak more highly of any other construction professional that we have done business with.

The crew were on time, were flexible with a few changes, and over all did an excellent job. We were on time for painters coming in.

My interactions with Bill has been amazing. He's customer service-oriented. He's just awesome. I can't give him enough rave reviews. He came in in the middle of me giving a police report on a burglary. He was respectful. He bolted up the door till the house was safe at no charge. He sent me an estimate for the door not even a day later. He's just incredible. He gives you all the information that you need to make a decision. He follows up with the quote. He is willing to share information easily.

We had quoted Northridge for a much bigger project, but decided to start much smaller. Northridge was always prompt and professional, communication was excellent, and more importantly their work was excellent. I would highly recommend Northridge and won't hesitate to contact them should I need their services in the future.

It went very well. Have had the experience with other "handymen" to come and redo the work in Tucson and New Orleans. With Northridge he gets the job done right the first time. It was a very positive progress and I am glad I chose him for the job. Thank you.

Bill returned my initial phone call promptly in September and came to see what needed doing and then sent me an estimate (which came in the lowest of three). He warned me then that with the backlog he had he would not be able to do the work till the end of November (which was fine with me). There was a slight delay in getting the extra long beams needed but once he was able to start the worked progressed quickly and efficiently and I was very pleased with the result. Bill was always extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with in fact once the weather warms slightly I am having him to paint the exterior of the house, for which I already have a satisfactory estimate, and will probably also have him do some interior work on the bathrooms in the future!

Everything went great. Would use them again.
