Description of Work: Bill Belobraydic and his crew from Northridge Home Services are as good as it gets. They spent 5 weeks converting a 20-year old kitchen into a brand new one for us. A+ service across the board. Everything they did was top notch and no detail was overlooked. It was the best home renovation experience I've had in over 45 years of home ownership. Description of Work: Home renovation including kitchen remodel mainly. Created open floor concept by removing 2 walls and soffits, removed tile counters and cabinets, updated plumbing and electrical in kitchen, painted, prepped for granite counter install, put in backsplash, replaced termite damaged porch support beams, put in recessed lighting, new insulation and ceiling in dining room and kitchen, electrical for spa, remove floor tile, replaced/updated electrical panel, ....probably more that I forgot. Asking them to more because quality of work was stellar and reasonably priced. Bill the owner was pleasant to work with during the bid process and afterwards when we kept adding, changing or deleting jobs. Mike and crew were always on time and cleaned up every day. All very trustworthy. Thank you Northridge!!!

Description of Work: Bill was great. He responded quickly and gave us ideas and suggestions on a complete remodel of our kitchen. He submitted two different bids and even came and consulted on a possible problem with a removal of a wall. I feel Northridge Home Services is a complete provider and wish that we could have used them. As it worked out, we were able to spread the services between several subcontractors and do the project at a lower cost. I am not sure if the worry and extra work on our part was really a savings. I would seriously consider Northridge Home Services for any future projects.

Northridge has been outstanding (and read, patient!) throughout this entire planning stage.We are so impressed with him that we have contracted with him to do an additional tiling job while waiting for supplies for kitchen.

Description of Work: removed and installed kitchen cabinets and countertops. had some problems come up that I was not aware of with my electric wiring. I was going to give a "b" for price but after all the work completed I think his price was justified. bill was easy to deal with and mike did good work.

Description of Work: We are new to the Tucson area and are purchasing a new home. I sent Northridge Home Service a list of items we wanted completed prior to our move and they respond stating that our project our too small for their company and they recommend a handyman. After seeing some of their reviews they have performed work for a number of small projects some ranging less than $2,000. I am no expert, but I do not feel the work we requested was small (replacing carpet with hardwood, replacing vanities in both bathrooms to include adding extra plumbing to accommodate one of the new vanities, to name a few). Regardless, I don't feel a company should turn down the opportunity for business no matter how small they feel it may be.

Description of Work: Northridge replaced/repaired 3 sections of drywall that were damaged/destroyed by 2 water heaters that burst. Bill was very honest and professional. He was very prompt and efficient. Although Bill himself did not perform the work, he showed up at our house on the day of repair and made sure his employee knew exactly what needed to be done. His employee did an outstanding job of repairing and blending the drywall. Bill did not try to "upsell" by having "mold remediation" performed (water heaters were located in the garage and outdoor storage closet and did not have any mold issues)like another company tried. His cost was very reasonable and fair. I definitely would use Northridge again.

Description of Work: My smoke alarm battery began beeping at 2:00 today and I called Bill and he came after a long day of work to help me out. He said the beeping must be driving me crazy (it was). The smoke alarm was on a 15' ceiling and a spot that no way could I get to. He brought his ladder and it was done easily and he offered to fix any other ones. I had one in my bedroom that was awkward for me to reach and again he took care of that one as well without taking any payment. Bill is the man to call!

 + -1 moreBill was the lowest of three bids and he offered to work any schedule we needed. Working weekends, certain weekdays, and evenings, they finished ahead of schedule. The quality is great. Bill knew all about federal regulations for the bathroom, doors, and the hallway. We are very pleased with the work they did.
Description of Work: We needed to have a home, now used as an office, made handicap accessible. We also needed them to work around the schedules of individuals using the offices.

 + 0 moreI have an old home that a has a 12 ft. long set of windows that had become severely water damaged and then consequently termite infested due to a short roof overhang and an inadequately inclined base ledge to the windows. The entire structural framing for this set windows was also damaged beyond workability. Everything had to be taken out and replaced with new material. I had about 8 contractors come look at the situation. 4 window companies said that they would not undertake the job because too many structural issues. Some told me that wall studs were part of the window framing. One told me the wall would need to be rebuilt. Bill Belobraydic of Northridge Home Services (basically a one man show), at my urging took a crowbar to pry open the top fascia to see what was on the inside. Interestingly, though the fascia had already been broken open, some other contractors who came after Bill, did not take the time to peer into the wall themselves. Of the 4 companies who submitted quotes for the job, 3 were bunched very close to each other in price, and the 4th quote was almost triple the amount of the other 3 quotes. Of the three reasonable quotes, Bill of Northridge Home Services was the only one licensed as a re-modeler. The other two were window companies. Now I don't know. Maybe it's just because of Bill's incredible skills & knowledge, but he came in and just did beautiful work and made it look like child's play. It turned out that there were no studs running through the framing and probably it was a job suitable for a window company ... though many of them got scared away. Nevertheless, there was a considerable amount of dry-wall patching and filling that needed to be done. This is the kind of work where many contractors might hurry through and have less than pretty results, and then say to you "look you have beautiful new windows, look how much better it looks ... and you're complaining about that?" You won't get that with Bill. The only cut corners he will give you will have right angles or miter's. More than half of the time he was here was spent on dry-wall and patching. The wall the windows are set in was not built straight. The framing Bill did takes it all into account and it looks as natural and smooth as could be. Only with a tape measure did I realize the subtleties of what he achieved. Lastly, Bill is just a wonderful guy. Whether you chat with him while he works, or leave him alone in your home, you will have great peace of mind that Bill is going to take good care of you and your home.
Description of Work: Removed old windows and all attached wood framing. Installed new framing and new windows. Patched and dry-walled and made ready for painting. Cleaned up thoroughly and hauled away the eye-sore.

He not only oversaw a major remodel, he also did most of the work himself and made sure all the work, whether done by him or sub-contracted, was done according to an old-fashioned standard of quality. Bill is reliable, responsible, smart, skilled, a creative problem solver, honest, fair, and pleasant to have around. If there was an emergency or a crisis and what big remodeling job doesn t have a few of those? I could count on him to figure out a way to resolve it in the best way possible. He always showed up when he said he would. His recommendations for other trades people were always excellent (because they had already passed the Bill test for working up to those old-fashioned standards). Of course, he is often booked up, but I would advise shifting your own schedule around in order to get on a waiting list for him do your remodeling job. He turns what could be a totally miserable experience into a pleasure.
