Luna Pool Service

I called Luna Pools at 1pm. Justin called back in less than 30 minutes and on site within an hour. He described possible permutations in terms of what could go wrong, all points making sense having worked on the valves in the past. He was able to fix it easily. Pleasant, professional, and fixed the problem.

I was about to go on vacation and he had serviced my pool the year before. I called becuase I was needing immediate help because my flight was leaving in a few hours. He never returned my call and yet he was so great when he did my pool the year before.

I felt I got more than my money's worth - quick and efficient basic repairs plus straightforward, technical advice on filters and valves and on keeping older equipment running.

Rep was punctual and we had no issues with his service.

They do an excellent job on pool maintenance. They are on Angie's List and the owner is Justin Davis. This company is extremely reliable, reasonably priced and they go out of their way to make my dog feel comfortable. They give us a 10-percent senior discount and their price is less than another competitor. They are excellent workers who are extremely courteous. They call us on the days when they are not coming or when they are going to be late so they are very thorough.

Justin has provides service like you just don't see now-a-days. There was a little misunderstanding as to when I wanted service to start, so I called him, he came on Sunday to service my pool. He offers true customer service!

They performed an evaluation of my pump equipment for my salt water pool and found and repaired various sensors and filter equipment. They also replaced an underwater light in my hot tub. They kept me informed of their arrival, their progress, and what else needed to be done. The equipment has been working better than before, and I am very pleased with their service, knowledge, and overall professionalism. I will absolutely use them in the future.

We bought an existing house and Justin and Luna Pool service brought the pool to pristine condition within 10 days. Included on the initial inspection were all elements of our pool equipment, filter, lights, spa, etc. They were very conservative in estimates and time to assess the condition of the pool but had it in beautiful condition very quickly. They decided to wait and see if home inspection report recommending sand replacement was immediately necessary and they are still monitoring when that will be necessary. We signed up for the monthly pool service and could not be happier with the personnel and the condition of our pool. The weekly maintenance is on time as scheduled and the technician is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Great service. This is too easy!

I called Luna Pool Service and Justin came the same day and checked the system. The system could not be repaired and I was informed that a new control panel/circuit board needed to be ordered. Justin worked very diligently to contact the Jandy company and ordered the correct parts. Although the arrival of the parts were delayed by the company, Justin followed up with the company and kept me informed of the status and delivery date. The replacement unit sent to me appeared to be used or modified and not in new condition. However, Luna's technician was able to adapt the system to properly operate the pool/spa system. This took extra work which was done in a timely and professional manner by Luna. Luna and Justin's team handled this very involved and expensive repair very professionally. I will definitely call Luna again for my pool/spa repairs.

I had left a message for the owner Justin told him I thought my grandchild had gotten a small ball sucked in the pool pipe. He said he could send someone out Mon am. He did turns out it was not that at all. We had some gaskets and parts leaking near the pump and it was sucking air.

Luna did a great job start to finish. I left a phone message and received a call back from Justin the owner within about an hour. He came out the next day (a Friday) and called me the next day with a range of estimates (depending on whether the pump seal needed replacing). On Monday I decided to have them to the work, and he sent Sam (I think it was) out to do the repair on Tuesday. It turned out the seal needed replacing, so the higher of the two estimates ended up being the repair cost. The next day, I noticed a very small leak under the pool pump filter basket, right in front of the motor. Justin had Sam come out the same day to check it; it was a leaky small plug, unrelated to the repair they had done, but they replaced it for free. Justin, when he did the estimate, also found a small leak in the above-ground pipes going to the spa motor, and suggested that it be replaced within a couple of months. I'll definitely call Luna and ask them to do the work.

We really appreciate Justin and his honest work ethic. Everything is explained ahead of time including the cost of the job and alternatives are offered if available. He ensures that his workers are getting the job done for his clients and really cares about everyone's pools. In other words, he knows the value of a dollar and how preventative maintenance can go a long way.

Quick response from the initial phone message. Showed up early on the appointed day and worked a little longer than the original estimate to get the job done. Stuck to the original estimate and did a fantastic job replacing the motor. Called a few hours later to check if everything was to my satisfaction. This Justin/Luna Pools is great.

From the first call, with prompt return call and estimate of costs, this was a pleasant experience. The serviceman showed up on time, had the parts and had the job done in minimal time. After the service, there was a follow up phone call to ensure it was done to my satisfaction.

This company is excellent. Justin did everything he said he would do, exactly when he said he would do it. He fixed only what needed repairing and didn't "jack up" the estimate with repairs that weren't warranted. The price was fair and the work was promptly and professionally completed. Justin knows pools and pool filters and we are thrilled to have found him. We would highly recommend him.

We knew from the building inspection when we purchased our house that the pool needed work and we had two companies from Angie's list come to give estimates. We were disappointed in the rep from the first company, who didn't even seem to be able to identify some of the working parts. He pressed us to let him drain the pool and have it acid washed. The rep from Luna Pool really seemed to know what to do and he gave us a list of recommended repairs and services and an estimated cost. We agreed and repairs started within days. The workmen showed up on time and got the job done. They are now coming once a week for cleaning and maintenance. It seems to me that the company is about as good as it gets. Responsive, reliable and reasonably priced.

I called three different places that I had done business with before. None of them called me back. Luna Pool was the only one to call me back. They came out as soon as I was available. The man found the problem and ordered the part. A day or two later, the owner called up and asked how I felt about them and my experience. They didn't try to sell me things that I didn't need. They were very responsive and here on time. If I need anymore repairs, they will be the first on my list.

Justin and his crew at Luna were punctual, met our expectations in performing the work, and followed up diligently to ensure a high level of pool water quality. Great communications, responsiveness, and conscientiousness.

I was very happy with there service.

This job went very well. Sam arrived right on time and got right to the work. The old sand was compacted near the bottom of the filter, so he took the time and gave the effort to make sure he got it all out. He made sure the interior components of the filter were still good and then he added the new sand. He then replaced the top o-ring and put everything back together. He then tested everything to make sure it all worked well. It did. The next day, Justin, the owner, called to make sure all was working well and that I was satisfied. It was and I am. I got quotes for this work and I believe I paid a fair price for the work involved. However, another company quoted over double what I paid. I don't think Luna undercharged, I think the other company was overcharging. Get quotes!

After experimenting with other area pool services, without satisfaction, I used Angie's List and found Luna's well-rated. I called them, and they were very responsive. We contracted with them, and they have been providing weekly service ever since. Every week, on the day they agreed to come, on time. And they do the work well. We could not be more happy. I highly recommend them.

Luna Pools came out and looked at the pump the day I called. They provided me a quote. A couple days later the parts came in and they were out the next day to do the repair. They did a great job. They were on time. They did what they said they were going to do. I would definitely use them again.
