He did not try to sell me a new pump. Had me up and running in just a few minutes.

Long story short ? you can?t go wrong with Luna Pools! Now, the rest of the story ... We needed an auto-fill pump replaced on our pool. We did not get to choose the pool provider, because a home warranty plan came with the purchase of our new home. The home warranty people selected the pool provider, who is listed on Angie?s List. When our family could not be home when the pool provider came to replace our auto-fill pump, the provider told us to leave a $60 check (required service fee for warranty work) in the pool?s breaker box and that they would replace the pump. When we arrived home that evening, the auto-fill pump was not fixed and our check was gone. We tried to contact the pool provider numerous times the next day and all we got was their answering machine. We stop payment on the check and called the home warranty service. The home warranty service told us that the pump was not covered under the terms of the warranty; however, that the pool provider should have called us to see if we still wanted the pump replaced at our cost since we were still being charged a service fee. This way, the pool provider would not have to come back and charge us another service fee. Well, the pool provider never called us back and never returned our messages. Called Justin at Luna Pool Service, told him about our entire situation, and he came out the very next day and replaced the pump for FREE! This is what ?OUTSTANDING? customer service is all about!!! To this day, we have used Luna Pool Service for all our pool needs and have NEVER been disappointed.

They service my pool. I met them when we first moved in and they originally brought our pool back from opaque emerald green to crystal clear aqua blue in a very short time. They have serviced our pool since. They are the best. Reliable, honest, caring AND smart. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Justin and his crew handle our monthly pool service. On their visit 2 weeks ago they noticed a bearing was out on our pump. They did some trouble shooting to see if they could fix it but were unable to make it work. (Incidentally, we had been milking it for months and knew our luck was going to run out sometime soon.) As a precaution, they threw our breaker to make sure the system wouldn't come on and damage the rest of the equipment. Justin called us to tell us what had happened and offer suggestions. He gave us a handful of suggestions, offered to do some pricing for us, and then called us back within 24 hours with options. He picked up the pump and was scheduled to install it on their regular route. He called me the day before and said that he had a guy in the area that could install it that day so that when they arrived for the regular appointment the next day all he would need to do would be to program it. And they didn't charge us any more on the labor for the extra stop. Luna found a excellent price on the pump, charged reasonable labor and did a wonderful job. They are respectful, show up on time and do excellent work. We were thrilled to find them.

Luna Pool Service is great! We do our own regular cleaning, but if we needed to engage a regular service, Luna Pool would be the company we would call. Their work on the repair and maintenance of our pool was easily scheduled, they kept in touch, they were polite & friendly, as well as diligent. Luna Pool Service's charge was very reasonable. We checked first with the major pool company who built our pool and didn't get a satisfactory response.

Justin showed up promptly to give an estimate which was very fair. He also very kindly pushed things through to get it done quickly since he knew that my mother was on chemo and needed to get the work done during her week off, which was very much appreciated. They did a great job and really worked to clean up a horrible mess. The crew arrived on time, was very polite and thoughtful. He also gave very good advice on what kind of filter to purchase. They worked hard and got out far more of the staining than I thought possible. The weekly service has also done a wonderful job keeping it up. The water is absolutely crystal clear, and that takes some work in a yard with this many mesquites and a palo verde.

Justin, the owner of Luna Pools, is amazing. He was able to come out the day I called for an estimate, and not only give me an estimate (which was very reasonable) but pick up the motor and come back to install it! He has since replaced a valve and did it quickly also. He is a very hard worker, very efficient and super polite. Will use Luna Pools for all my pool service in the future

We are having the pool work done in September or October, temperature needs to cool off a bit. They gave us the cost, time involved and didn't ask for money down. They have returned all my phone calls the same day and have given me instructions on what to do to keep my pool free of Algae.

Justin, who could have jumped on the profit train, informed us that we were not in need of new equipment at this time. We were stunned! Please know other estimators quickly advised us on the importance of replacing equipment as soon as possible. Justin is one of the most intelligent and client-friendly people we have ever met. His suggestions to improve performance of the pool were of minimal DIY expense. He advised us not to do anything to/with the pool at this juncture. Friendly, intelligent, knowledgeable beyond measure is this young entrepreneur. We will have him, and no one else, do whatever repairs/replacement our pool may need in the future. This man is peerless in his commitment to honest business practices.

I was having issues with my pool pump. I am a pool novice and found Luna pool service on this site. I called Luna on Friday evening and Justin promptly returned my call on Saturday morning. He explained that their schedule was very tight right now and offered to assist me with DIY instructions for free over the phone. I was not an existing Luna Pools customer but he offered to help anyway. I explained my issues and he walked me through the steps to correct the problem. He even offered to answer additional questions or send out a team later on if the issue could not be resolved. Very polite, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I'm grateful that I didn't have to spend hours searching for someone else to assist. I will call them in the future with any pool repair needs.

we contract for weekly pool service but of late they have not shown up three times in the past two months and are unresponsive when we call. for some time the service was very good but in the past three months it has been deteriorating.

I had a very good first impession in February when I first met Justin the owner of Luna Pool Services. He was polite and spent alot of time looking at our equipment, explaining existing problems and not charging for his time. He did not push us to replace any part of our equipment, but we decided to go ahead to prevent any problems in the future and replace our filtre pump. We were given the choice between various models and the prices and we chose a variable speed one supossed to save energy. He also repaired the panel of our gas heater to get it working again. We agreed on a monthly maintenance contract to clean the pool. We do not live year round in Scottsdale and had a hard time getting in contact with him from then on until our next trip out in May. He was not good with emails and did not always answer the phone. He did not send us regular invoices but we chose to trust the fact that the pool was bieng taken care of - a mistake on my part. He came to our house to meet with us because we had other concerns about equipment that needed to be replaced and that was the last time we saw or heard from him in the last 2 months. Our caretaker had to call him last week to ask him why he was not coming to service the pool and he explained that he was no longer able to service our pool because he has decided to concentrate his services in Tucson. He also said that he tried contacting us to let us know, but I never received any phone messages or emails from him. He also told the caretaker that the reason why he was uncommunicative was because of a death in the family -he had also given us similar excuses about a collegue who was hit by a car when he didn't show up for meetiings with my husband and I in May. The consequence, now is that our pool is so dirty it is almost black. I have had a quote from another reputable and recommended company to clean it for $600 because it will have to be drained with a chlorinated wash. We have also been told that our new filtre pump has been wired incorrectly and that is one of the contributing reasons why our pool is in such bad shape. The filtre will also have to be compleetly cleaned out. These other things will cost an additional $ 210. It is very dissapointing and as a result I would not recommend Luna Pool Services to anyone- even in Tucson.

Justin is excellent. He responds without fail whether it is a weekend, holiday etc. He always gives us an estimate before he does necessary repairs. He is hones, reliable and always pleasant to deal with.

They have done a great job keeping our pool in perfect condition. We have never had a service that maintained the pool without even a bit of algae buildup or other problems until we found Luna. Justin is conscientious and I think he tries to find the most economical replacements when we have an equipment problem. We have no complaints and can't recommend them highly enough.

My spa pump was destroyed by a freeze and there was some question as to whether my heater was damaged as well. Justin came out and assessed the situation and tested the components. He then sent out Lars, who did the repairs. It turned out that the heater was ok, but Lars determined that it needed a new digital control board, to fix a problem that had existed before the freeze. Lars replaced the pump and filter with better units than I had before, and also replaced the digital board in the heater. In the five months since the repairs were done, everything is working perfectly! Also worth noting is that Justin kept on top of everything and made sure that we were happy with the work. I would definitely use Luna Pools again if I have another problem with my spa.

Never returned my call, guess my business wasn't important to Luna.

Justin worked us into his schedule and came very early on Thursday morning. We were having several problems with our pool that seemed liked the all might be related, but we just couldn't figure them out. Justin spent nearly and hour troubleshooting our system and made two HUGE suggestions - we needed a new turbine and A-frame for our pool vacuum and the jets in the spa might have some debris in them. He had some older vacuum parts in his truck and replaced the worn parts. While it didn't totally fix the problem, it made the vacuum work better which sort of proved that his idea was likely correct. I took the vacuum to the pool store and asked for a new turbine and A-frame. The manager of the store told me that we really didn't need the parts, as they looked fine to her. She asked "Who told you that they needed to be replaced?" At any rate, I replaced them and brought the vacuum back home, hooked it up and it's been working perfectly. I also removed the spa's nozzles and found that three of the six were, in fact, plugged with debris. I cleared them out and the spa is working 100% better. It's amazing - Justin nailed BOTH of the issues, spent an hour with me trying to figure out the problems, and didn't charge me a penny! He's got a new customer for all our pool issues in the future. I'm sure that he'll make up the cost on future work, but that's OK with me. Those two problems were not so easy to find, and he just perfectly diagnosed the situation.

I pay $100 a month. I have other people tell me that my pool looks really good.

I am very pleased with them. When I was running into problems, I called him up and he came to the house and I explained what happened to me and he said to me, "first of all, they sold yo the wrong product. This is not the right product that you should be using". He was exceptional. As a matter of fact, after I had the pool redone, he is now my service. He does my service.

From the initial conversation to final agreement on service; we were treated professionally, promptly, and fairly.

Justin came out and spent an hour going over the different repairs that needed to be done with my pool. He said a lot of the fixes were minor that I could easily do myself, but that he would be more than happy to service it himself. He gave me a lot of good information and I chose to do the easy repairs on my own. He spent a good amount of time at my home and didn't charge me anything. GREAT service! Really knows what he's talking about too!.

Luna Pool personel were very courteous, prompt in returning calls, arrived when expected. I knew his service call was $80 but felt it was probably worth that amount since he was so highly rated. I also knew he did not do mechaniical work on above ground spas. The only thing needed was to drain my pool so I could correct chemical imput. They did that job well. Next time I need to have the spa drained, I will look for someone with a smaller service charge, if there are any around.
