Description of Work: Weekly pool maintenance. $100 a month/their chemicals. We hired Luna as the first company to maintain our pool right after initial startup. Maintenance went well, however we received a letter out of the blue stating they would not be servicing our area any longer. The person that had been servicing our pool for the past few months had formed his own LLC Pool Maintenance Company and he would now be our Pool Service. After several spot checks we found that our pool chemicals were out of range. We talked to him about it and there was always an excuse, therefore we changed to another company. We did not have problems with Luna as a Pool Service other than the professionalism in handling the deletion of the NW Tucson area route.

Description of Work: I had a problem with the suction on my Kreepy Krauly and they came out early in the morning before I usually go to work to see what the issue might be. He inspected it and found the pleat to be worn out. I had a replacement pleat and he would not leave before he installed for me and made sure that was really the root cause of my issues. Great guy!

Description of Work: He performs monthly maintenance on a rental property in Tucson that I own. I do not often get a chance to personally observe the quality of his work but just keeping the pool clear through summer is a good sign.

Description of Work: My pool needed a new pump and Justin did a great job getting everything installed and working like new.Now I use Luna for my weekly pool service and am very happy.

Description of Work: The pool guy is great. I have him taking total control of my pool. They have taken over the whole process from vacumning and chemicals.

Description of Work: I had 2 small leaks in my 2" pool supply line near my sand filter. I called on Monday was provided with an over the phone quote since I had photo's of where the leaks were that I emailed. The fix involved cutting the line in 2 places and using new couplers. One of the couples sits over a existing T-fitting, saving money on the number of parts I anticapated being involved here. The owner even stated with that info, I could try to repair it myself but opted not to.

Description of Work: Vacuumed the pool, cleaned out skimmer basket and cleaned debrei from water surface. Scrubbed the pool tile and checked the chemical balance of the water and added necessary chemicals to keep the pool clean and clear. Sam showed me that my skimmer basket was cracked and offered to bring a replacement on his next visit which I agreed to. He was friendly, professional and courteous.

Description of Work: Luna Pool and Landscaping Service provided me with landscaping services upon my request at a very, very reasonable price. I asked Justin to plant a new lawn, plant 5 new trees and provide a complete clean up of my 1 acre yard. Justin asked Troy and Martine to provide the service. They were always punctual, very friendly, always professional and went above and beyond to make me the decision maker in the landscaping. They cleaned up the yard and trimmed back dead plants and even removed my nasty Cholla cactus. Troy in particular impressed me with his very customer friendly exchange on a daily basis. I will be using both Luna for my ongoing pool service (which has been great as well) and monthly maintenance of the yard. You can not miss with these guys.

Description of Work: Justin the owner has taken over the pool cleaning for me and has had to do some repairs on the motor etc. He comes regular and does a great job and either answeres the phone when I call or gets back to me very soon after leaving a message, something Tucson is not known for! I have gone thru several pool people and no one compairs with his service. I saw one of his trucks yesterday and it says " exceding your expectations " and that is exactly right

Description of Work: The motor went out on my spool. Called the company after reading the reviews on Angie's list. Justin responding promptly to my request for an estimate. He was very upfront about the cost of the minimum repair but also cautioned that replacement of the bad part might not be a permanent fix since my motor was over 9 years old. He gave me a price quote for both jobs and I ultimately went with the more permanent fix. He didn't try to push me either way, just wanted to make sure I understood the issues. He did such a great job on the repair, I had him replace the cartridge filter also. He was very courteous and polite throughout the job. I also asked him about the possibility of fixing an issue I had with my Baduspa jet, but he had no experience in this area and told me so. He recommended someone else to me for that repair.
