I called Landshapes LLC after getting a letter in the mail. Jason called back within two days and scheduled a time to meet and talk over my project.  I was referred to John Kent ( a landscape designer) who quickly drew a landscape plan and presented me with an estimate. I was not happy to hear that the project was going to be 500 dollars more than my budget. We made the decision to phase in the design and wait on the water feature.
Jason and his crew began the project on March 17th. His crew was very friendly and cleaned up every day before leaving my home. The project was suppose to take two weeks to complete and it did. We had one issue with a tree that died but it was replaced last week and we are now finished.
I'm very happy with the work. My patio is very nice. We used pavers from pioneer and couldnt be happier with the whole thing.
I will definitely call Jason to install the water feature in the fall.

I called them based on a mailer I received. They responded about two days later and met with me the same day. I was given a design and an estimate for the project a few days after that. The cost was a bit over my budget but the company comes highly recommended by my friends in Saddlebrooke.  The work started a day later than planned but went pretty fast. The whole thing was done in 10 days.  I was surprised to see they worked the weekend to finish. They made a concise effort to get the job done quickly and it looks beautiful.  I have recommended them to my brother and sister in law and will be using them for my landscape maintenance.

We hired Jason in February of 2010 to a do landscape design of the empty back yard of our new home. We got a postcard in the mail promising design discounts (much like the last reviewer). When we first met him we were impressed and were likely to have him do some or all of the installation as well. We gave him $500 to do 3-D sketches and CAD drawings. He got us quick, simple sketches within a week. Then many months went by with nothing. We were patient because we were still trying to find buget for the project anyway. Then it became a whole year and many unanswered emails. I finally got a hold of him by phone in March of 2011 at which point (barely remembering who I was) he told me he was "done" with the project. He also at this time told me he sold the design aspect of his company and wasn't doing that part anymore.  So I asked for a partial refund and told me that his new partners would not agree to that (nor would they finish the design.) When I presented him with the invoice showing that he had not delivered the clearly promised professional CAD drawings he back-tracked and promised them. 

Finally in August of 2011 he sent us his finished drawing. While it incorporates most of the items we wanted it is far from a professional CAD drawing. There are no dimensions or elevations and the house and yard are not to correct scale. We repeatedly asked him to add dimensions and correct the scale and he kept sending me the same drawing over and over again. It does not look nearly as good as the drawings he advertises on his website.

We received a letter in the mail from Landshapes after purchasing our new home, which offered a New Home Landscape Inspection for a discounted rate, as well as 10% on any project over $500. We called Jason, the owner, to set up an appointment. He did not show to the appointment. We called him several times, without any answer. Eventually, we reached him and as soon as we said our name and address, he hung up on us. He never returned any of our messages. We then decided to go with another company.

I contacted them through a referral I received from a friend. They returned my call about two days later. After an initial visit, I was shown a drawing and an estimate. The price was high but acceptable. I signed the estimate and was given an install date for two weeks later. They called the day before work was to be scheduled and said they were running behind and would need two more days before they could install the shrubs and watering system. They showed up on the rescheduled date and began the work. It took two days to do and now looks 100% better than before. Some small adjustments were made to our plan but I was notified of the changes. It was done well. The staff was professional. The owner obviously knows a great deal about the work he does. He was on site for most of the project which was an added benefit from my other experiences with contractors.
