IRRIGATION & SPRINKLER REPAIR

I called about a runaway water meter, I thought I had it isolated to a certain set of irrigation valve boxes. Fred came and confirmed then showed me how to flush them and presto meter stopped running.

Called twice, unfortunately never called us back (?)

I had a major break in a main irrigation line that was burried deeper than typical which made it hard for me to get to alone. After calling several company's, this is the only one that could squeeze me in, about a week after I called. Found and repaired the break in under 10 minutes. I was a little surprised at the cost after less than 10 minutes of work, but I'm very glad to have it done correctly by such a competent person.

I'm new to Tucson and the whole drip irrigation thing. When I got my whopping water bill I figured something was wrong. I called three companies with good reviews on Angie's. One company wasn't taking any work until June, another just said leave a message (I still haven't heard back from them) and Fred's message was that he was busy and couldn't get to any system for two weeks. I left a message anyway. Three days later Fred called and said he could stop by. He quickly assessed the situation and fixed the system in minutes. He didn't want to charge me. Awesome! So I asked for a lesson on the controller. Fred was very informative and set the system to water early morning and late at night, to minimize evaporation. Gee, why didn't the installing company to that? It was worth $20 to me, so I paid him anyway. Whoever heard of arguing with a company, because you want to pay them?

Fred responded puntually. Set about repairing failing sections of the system. He returned promptly several times, was generous with his explanations, and thoughtful about his diagnoses of problems. When he left us, everything he fixed stayed fixed. I am very confident of his competence and his pro-customer attitude.

Work estimate was high. Never hired this contractor.

I had a water leak in my irrigation system. Didn't know who to call, so I called a plumber. He said there was a part that was needed, so he ordered it and installed it. When he finished, he did not turn off the drip system, so water was leaking for about 2 days, called the plumber back, said he couldn't find anything wrong, so he just put everything back, that is when I called Irrigatioin Sprinkler Repair. They came over and couldn't find anything wrong, checked the water meter and there was not any water leaking anywhere, so he said everything was working fine. Asked how much I owed him, he said nothing, just call us if you need anything else and I assured him I would. So case closed. all is fine. Thanks.

Leaking cut-off valves were resolved with 24 hrs of contact. The service engineer was very knowledgeable and also sorted out a stuck valve problem. The price was higher than anticipated but Don had to replace the cut-off valve and the anti-syphon valve.

My system developed a leak several days before I was to leave on vacation. I was able to schedule the work via telephone and the work was performed when planned.

Called (based on recommendations here) and made an appointment for Fred to come by the house to fix a leaking irrigation line. He came as promised and did the job quickly -- no fuss, no muss. Price seems reasonable -- although it was a very easy job, he did have to come to the house. I would certainly call him again.

Fred was extremely responsive, coming out to the house within a half day of contacting him. He was able to quickly see what the issues and problems were and went to work, and very quickly replaced a couple of 'valve thingies' and managed to solve the problem with the leaks. He went to the trouble of discussing a couple of different solutions/possibilities, providing more than one option for proceeding when I was able to address the whole system - Fred was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I'll always be thankful for his expertise, but even more so, his willingness to help in my situation to make it work!! I would very highly recommend him and his company!

I just moved into a home that was built in 1997 and there were several problems with a fairly extensive irrigation system. Being unfamiliar with irrigation, I called Fred Shepard to ask if he could come out and check out my system as well as complete any needed repairs. He inspected the entire system and educated me on how the system works, common problems that I could repair myself, and the functions of the contoller. There were two bad valves that he rebuilt and several plugged and leaky hoses. Fred was very easy to work with, knowledgeable and fairly priced.

He shut down the system at the first visit, and he set up a date for the following week to replace the leaking valves.I can't say enough about how pleased I am with his work.

Fred was quick to return calls for scheduling estimate. He quickly understood the needed work. Showed up on time as scheduled, worked about 4 1/2 hours, left for a few hours so the glue could dry completely. Came back at the time promised, tested the system and explained how to use it properly. He was professional, worked efficiently and used high quality materials.

Quick response from returning the initial phone call requesting a bid, to getting an estimate, to doing the work. All work was done in a professional manner and quickly. The clean-up was great and the only way you could tell anything had been done was the yard looked better than when they arrived. I would use this company again.

Amazing, received call back on my request same day, had guy out to check the same afternoon. They made temp fix, came back next day with parts, finished repairs. Showed when they said they would, )not sometime am or pm). Were both professional and knowledgable, cleaned up after themselves and called to check that we were happy.

Arrived promptly. I explained the problems I was having. The technician was courteous and knowledgable. He explained what he was going to do and informed me of the cost of the cellenoid and why he was using the particular one instead of what I previously had. He returned everything to the way he had found it and disposed of trash.
