Great! Fred was courteous, prompt, and respectful--which means a great deal to me. Once at my home, he got to work right away, and got the repairs completed. He charged me a reasonable amount, and I would definitely call him again for future repairs or estimates.

They had to reschedule, because his other job had an emergency. When he did show, was on time but in uniform for another landscape company. took 15 min to evaluate and give me an estimate for Approx $600 to rebuild all valves. Two needed new diaghrams, and a couple of screws were stripped. But they only work on what they install - so had to completely rebuild valve box - I said NO. still had to pay for estimate.

The control box installed just four years ago was fried. Fred tried to repair the old one before replacement. He programed the new control box for winter use. Fred is definitely a wealth of information. His rates are reasonable. He answered his phone on Sunday, when I called for service. The review that said he didn't not return call concerns me, as I found this to not be true.

90 mins later and all was done. "Mark" seemed concerned about working as fast as he could to keep down the man hours. I had gotten an estimate earlier that was nearly 65% MORE and I assured him that an extra half hour was still way below the original estimate from another competitor. A friend was visiting me at the time the repairs were done and she was so impressed she vowed to call them to look at her faulty irrigation issues. I was anxious after the first estimate and so relieved with this price and a job well done. They will ALWAYS have my irrigation business!

He arrived right on time. My valves were leaking and he repaired them, realigned heads. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave me a lot of information about the system and how to use it. He went right to work, was excellent at his job. I thought the price was very fair. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs help with their system. The whole experience was pleasant and a job well done. What more could you ask.

Everything went well. Mark removed some decorative rock to access the job. Upon completion, he explained that we needed to let the repair work set overnight before turning the system back on. Fred, the owner, came out the next morning, inspected the work, did an additional minor repair, and turned the system back on.

I called on Tuesday to indicate that I had a leak in my irrigation system. They tried to get there the same day, but ended up coming the following day. They kept me updated with phone calls as necessary. Upon arriving Mark identified the problem and quickly made the replacement/repair. He completely cleaned up the area and then we tested the whole system together. He answered several questions that I had and was very helpful. Mark is a pro, he knows his business and he treats his customers with respect.

Water bills were running high when my wife noticed standing water in an irrigation valve box. Called Fred Shepard (Irrigation & Sprinkler Repair) at 11:05 on Saturday because I misread the I&S Repair listing and thought he provided 24-hour/Emergency service (the listing clearly indicates that I&S does not). He was "finishing a job" and offered to stop by before going to another commitment at 13:00. By 12:30 two leaking bleed plugs had been replaced and Fred was on his way to a birthday party for his grandchildren. Never had such prompt service in Tucson!

He is reliable, honest. And he gets the work done right on the spot. He makes sure his crew does the work properly. He shows up, does the work and gets out! He says it like it is.

I had to wait for Fred because he was injured the day he came and made the estimate. Even though he was hurt, he arrived on time for our appointment. I liked Fred and because it was monsoon season, I could afford to wait until he was better but I absolutely wanted to go with him and said install when he can. A few weeks later I noticed a new system in place. Fred called me and wanted to stop by and show me how it worked . He is very knowledgeable about drip systems and I will call on him if I ever need anything further.

Communication was great...Fred went over every step of the process to make sure that the finished system would meet our needs.The crew showed up as promised, disrupted the existing landscaping very minimally (we have large rocks, etc. as part of our landscaping and had been worried about problems with digging trenches), and completed the job within the time frame laid out. Fred returned a couple of times after the initial installation to check on details, monitor water pressure, and change the location of a control panel (at no extra charge). We highly recommend this company!!

I called Fred (who I had used once before and liked). He called back the next day. He seems to be pretty busy but we were able to arrange a time for the next week. He came at the arranged time, dug up the line, repaired it, tested and reburied it. From greeting him to handing him the check, the whole thing took no more than 20 minutes. No fuss, no muss. He is friendly and will chat if you want to chat. But I had things to do, so just left him to do his work while I did mine and that was fine too.

Fred, the owner, came out and gave us a proposal. Fred was very knowledgable and professional. His overall price was in the middle of several proposals we received. What i liked best was his suggestions to upgrade our system with no additional costs. Fred had a seven man crew that came out and completed the job in one and a half days. Every man on the crew was productive and know what they were doing. We now have an excellent system. Our plants and trees never looked better.
