Description of Work: We hired the arborists who came out and trimmed one very large tree. They removed a medium sized tree and took out a couple of dead ones. They also cleaned up a bunch of desert brooms as well as a few other unsightly plants. The best part is that Ron told us exactly what he was going to do and why. He also walked around and provided me with information on many of our tree species. He pointed out problems and even solved a couple. When he was finished he walked me around again to make certain I was satisfied with his work. Ron and Eddie did a very professional job. I would not hesitate to hire them and Horticulture Unlimited again.

Description of Work: While I served as Landscape Chairman at my HOA, the Board selected Horticulture Unlimited to provide service. It was notable that the Board wasn't willing to pay Horticulture what they'd been willing to pay the previous, unsatisfactory landscape company. However, Horticulture was able to successfully remedy much of the damage the previous company caused (plants dying due to over-trimming, lack of fertilizer, fungus, etc). I highly recommend Horticulture.

Description of Work: Horticulture Unlimited planned out what plants, pots, trees and shrubs would work best at our home, and installed them. They also tested our existing drip irrigation system and extended it to service some of the new landscaping we had installed. They also installed a back flow prevention valve on the irrigation system. Finally they preformed some maintenance on our existing trees (pruning and cutting back of overgrowth), cleared out dead wood, cleaned up the prickly pear across our property and raked the entire property. | |I always felt that I was involved in the process including being given choices for the plants and working within my budget. From the owner to the crews, Horticulture Unlimited displayed competence, professionalism, responsiveness and knowledge. I am very satisfied with the entire process - from planning to the execution to the final product. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: They put in drainage and erosion control after I had an addition made to my house. They contoured the land to have water drain away from the addition, buried a drain pipe, and added rocks to control erosion. It looks good and so far has held up.

Description of Work: Planted a new tree at my house.

Description of Work: Two three year old Mesquite trees with approximately eight inch diameter trunks removed from our front yard. The Mesquites were originally provided by our builder and were awkward in appearance, partly because of their location and partly just "luck of the draw" with inexpensive Mesquites. A single Desert Museum Palo Verde (24 inch box) was planted as a replacement. We also sought and received an expert recommendation on the trimming requirements of the rest of the trees in our yard.
