Gecko Pest Management

We called them in a panic because bees had taken over one whole side of the garage. They were even inside of the eaves of the garage. Gecko came out, diagnosed the issue and resolved the issue all in the same day! They had all the equipment they needed on their trucks, they didn't need to leave for additional supplies. We would not hesitate to call them again in the future for other pest needs.

Gecko Landscaping did a great job. They were professional, courteous, kind, and very knowledgeable. It was important for me to turn our yard into a xeriscape landscape and Gecko honored this request and made the appropriate changes. They went out of their way to pick the desert plants and flowers that I wanted, and hand picked some beautiful rocks for me. They transformed our backyard into a gorgeous space and cleaned up our front yard nicely. I will definitely be calling them again!

I rated the company "A" even though the service call did not start out that way. I called several companies and Gecko was most reasonably priced and offered Angie's List discount. The service tech told me that he did not have the right removal tool with him, which was a surprise to me, since they knew why I had called them, and as a result he could not adequately grab the nest, so it fell down the vent pipe. He still charged me $90 even though the nest was not removed; however it had been thoroughly sprayed so the wasps were probably all dead. But I was unhappy that I now had a pretty large "dead" nest sitting in my bathroom vent pipe. I called the company back to state my concern, and the next day the service manager came out. He is the one who saved this service call and prompted me to rate Gecko with an "A". He took down the bathroom fan to access the vent pipe and removed the nest. This process marked up the ceiling, so he had to come back the next day to repaint the area. The service manager had excellent customer service skills and as a result I would use Gecko again.

I called 2 vendors from Angie's List for bids and Gecko was the most responsive and punctual. Their price was very competitive and they offered an AL discount. After some minor confusion regarding the date of my first scheduled service, the technician called me to schedule an appointment the following day. He was punctual, knowledgeable and very professional. Impressive.

The technician arrived on time, was courteous, professional and answered all of my questions. He patched the holes that he had drilled in the cement, flagstone and asphalt well. He did a much better job than another company I had used four years ago. I am satisfied with the work that was done and I am happy that I will not be paying an annual renewal fee after the first year .

Service was great. I would use them again if I needed to.

Our route man, Jeremiah, was, as always, prompt, pleasant, efficient, and friendly. He answered several general questions about specific pest and or weed issues, providing easily understandable explanations. He also provided details about possible additional services that we might be helpful to us in the future (primarily regarding weed control). Jeremiah always calls us the day before the scheduled service to confirm the appointment and in the past has changed the day and or time at our request to accommodate our schedule. He gets the job done while maintaining a friendly, communicative relationship with us. We're very glad to have him as our technician, and are very pleased with Gecko as a company.

Prior to hiring Gecko Pest control I received various estimates from other companies which gave me a comparable price, however I found the personal interaction from Bret the deciding factor in my decision. He did not hesitate to answer all my questions and explain all the treatment options to me, but he also answered questions about treatments that other companies use and explained all the pro's and con's of the various treatment. Bret gave the a price that was reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. The technician arrived at my home at the exact time as arranged, he worked quickly and effectively without causing to much disruption. He was helpful, answered my questions and completed the work in the timeframe mentioned. I could not have made a better choice, there was no mess and all drilled holes and trenches were filled back in. There was no mess either inside or outside my home after the work was done. I loved the customer service from the office staff, sorry I do not recall her name, Bret the owner and the technician Adam. If you are in need of Termite treatment please call Gecko pest as part of your research they are great.

I like everything about them; most incredibly their integrity. They did a very good job. They came out and did what they said they were going to do. They were willing when I was pointing out something else that they just went ahead and did that. They’re very nice. They’re competitive in their price. They showed up on time and finished just when they said they would. They were very polite and courteous. The owner of the company came out and walked through with the technician who is actually did the work. I couldn’t think of single thing they could have done.

I have used Gecko Pest Management for two different homes, for over 10 years of service. Always professional service, technicians prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. Would not use any other company, as they always provide excellent customer service! Had multiple pack rat nests that needed removal, and these were carefully removed and landscape now back to original appearance and looks untouched. Also had a fly problem in our dog run area, and technician used a pet safe product and the results were incredible--- no more flies! Great Company & I highly recommend them.

I had the initial inspection performed by Brett prior to purchasing my home. He informed me that there was evidence of minor termite infestation and explained the process that his company would perform to give me peace of mind. After going ahead and purchasing the home I was approached by many companies that wanted to perform the termite prevention treatment. My research showed that Gecko had an impressive customer satisfaction rating along with a proven track record compared to other companies. I decided to go with Gecko. I was contacted numerous times to verify the service date by phone and email. Adam called prior to arriving to perform the work. Adam spent a good part of the day trenching the whole perimeter of the property and drilling holes in the sidewalk and flagstone patio to apply the treatment. Upon completion all holes were filled and hardly noticeable along with refilling all the trenches. He then took the time to spray the entire property for insects inside and out. Adam (and Gecko) more than exceeded my expectations for service performed. I look forward to a long relationship with Gecko Pest Control.

I noticed bees flying in and out of an enclosed empty compost bin in my backyard, so looked at Angie's List for a referral. I called Gecko Pest Management about 3:30 pm, and was told I'd have a call back soon. Manny, the technician called within 15 minutes to find out what the problem was, then said he'd see if he could find someone to come either later in the afternoon or first thing Saturday morning. About a half hour later he called back and said he'd be coming within 90 minutes. He arrived within the time period he'd estimated, donned his bee suit, and checked out the compost bin. Bees were beginning to build a couple combs, so he thoroughly sprayed the bin and surrounding area to eliminate the bees. He was very professional, clearly knew what he was doing, and handled the situation without anyone getting stung. I was very impressed with the responsiveness of the company! I didn't call anyone else or compare prices, since the company's rating was so good, so don't know how it compares to anyone else. It seemed like a reasonable price for the job.

Bret delivered friendly and efficient service. He took the time to explain some background about termites. And at the end, he made the effort to make sure I knew his final findings before he left. I received his official written report early the next morning. I will definitely request him on my next home purchase and recommend him to my friends and family.

After noticing termite activity, I called Gecko for an appointment for an estimate at my home. Bret was very punctual for the appointment and took the time to inspect around and inside my home and answer my questions. After deciding to go ahead with the work, the technician was also on time and did a great job. The trenching work around the foundation was done with minimal disruption to the landscaping gravel, and the drilling through the foundation was patched very well. The drilling through the bricks on our patio was great too, not breaking or cracking any, and the patching on the bricks was color matched perfectly as well. The work inside the house was done quickly and cleaned up when it was completed. It is nice to have work done on your home with a professional company, and to have the added assurance of a 6 year warranty on that work. Would not hesitate to call again or to recommend to anyone for pest work.

Assisted w/ongoing bee problem.

The technican was very friendly, professional, and helpful. Listened and answered my questions. Was supposed to send me an email with an estimate for their different services (regular vs premium, monthly vs bi-monthly, etc.) I haven't received it yet. Update: I'd like to thank Bret Holland, the President of Gecko, for taking the time to contact me personally. He explained everything and I feel very comfortable continuing with them. I'm confident that Bret and Manny will provide us with great pest control service.

I called to scheduled a free estimate for treatment of a termite infestation and had to leave a message with what I later found out to be the answering service. The call back from Gecko was by a lady who didn't know what I had called about. I distinctly left a message with the specifics of why I was calling but she seemed to be uninformed. In any event, we got through it and an appointment time was set. Bret, the owner, arrived right on time. He said he came to do a 'free inspection' but he didn't know what for. I told him it was for termites. I further stated I had left all the information when I scheduled the appointment. He also appeared to be uninformed That makes twice that I was talking to someone who wasn't properly informed. I found Bret to very nice and pleasant. Inspection was not very thorough but maybe after 21 yrs you don't need to do them so thoroughly anymore. Termidor is their product which has a great reputation. When Bret gave me his price I commented about it being a bit high. He said he would send his bid in an email and if it sounded ok to me, he'd be happy to do the job. If not, it wasn't a big deal.

I have a contract with them and they check my house every year for termites. Bret and his employees are great.

As it turned out, there was no termite activity. Bret was able to clarify what we were seeing and provided a good deal of information as to what to look for in the event of termite activity. He could have offered us some unnecessary service, but did not. He did not charge for his visit. We were relieved that we didn't have a problem, and we were relieved that if we do have a problem, we have someone honest to call.

Honest Guys Called them out, they serviced the house the next day. Removed the pigeons and the mess they made (glad I did not have to do it) and sealed up where they were able to get in.

serviceman came earlier than promised. he explained what he was going to do and what would subsequently happen. he completed his job in a short period of time and cost exactly as quoted. my only complaint was that he pointed out that we may be getting termites. I asked him to e-mail a quote on removing them, but have not received the e-mail. he was very courteous and efficient but needs to do the followup. he could possibly get more business.

I had called yesterday, April 23, 2013 and they came out today. I told him the problems I was having, he suggested a solution and gave me a price, I said Yes, and he did the work. Was very efficient, price was very reasonable compared to some others, and he was very friendly. When he was here, there were no ants visible at all in my kitchen, none on the cupboards, refrigerator, or anywhere. The minute he left, they came out! I waved him down and he came back in to check them out. That was a good thing. I would call them again if I had pest problems.

They came out to do the work two days after I called them for the estimate and the bid was accepted. The service was good and the man who did the job very good and put back the carpeting in one room just perfectly. There was no smell from the chemicals and he cleaned up afterwards and answered any questions we had while the job took place. As to the termites coming back I havn't noticed them and there is a warrenty on the work and chemicals used.
