Gecko Pest Management

A referral went to them but I never heard from them. This was my first time using Angi and this so far was not good.

We've been Gecko customers for 15 years now. Houses in Tucson had/have/will get termites, and these people know how to get rid of them even in tricky places. They don't quit until the termites are GONE. Today we had our annual inspection. Sal found a single tunnel and he didn't give up until he'd done all the house foundations and both garages. We have the utmost confidence in them. They are friendly, on time, reachable, know their business, and always take care of your house as if it were their own

Bret really knows his stuff and provided me with an incredible free education about my various pest problems. We recently moved here from Wisconsin and Tucson is a different world for us. Getting such great advice was very valuable to me. Gecko will definitely be our go-to pest control company!

Apparently a major name company had treated the house prior to our purchase and the contract was for a year. We immediately had issues even before that year was up. Went with Gecko on a 5 year contract and whenever we had an issue they were out there to take care of it. Everyone appears knowledgeable and are willing to give you the scoop on what they are doing and why.

Manny from Gecko Exterminating came to our house and performed miracles by getting rid of the ants coming into our house. Manny is very cordial, polite, and professional. I learned quite a bit of new information about ants and their colonies from him. I would highly recommend him and Gecko Exterminating. The cost was very reasonable.

They did all of that fine but their billing and scheduling is just like unbelievable. They scheduled an appointment with me an nobody told me. I just found out accidentally. And no one seemed to think that someone did anything wrong. I don't know if you call someone to confirm then you should put that done. Then they did the work and they never billed me. I asked the guy did you bring the bill, but he said they would get a hold of me. The guys who did the work was great but combining that with the other stuff is a C. Pricing I don't know because I did not compare them to anyone else. Quality was fine. Responsiveness was good. Punctuality was good. The guys who did the work an A, the people in the office a D. I would consider using them again.

Tony, Ryan, Victor, and John were excellent. Hardworking and friendly. I trusted them around my house. They were also nice to my dogs!

Gecko treated both the original wood to exterminate any existing termites and the new wood once it was replaced as a preventive measure. They coordinated their work with the contractor who replaced the wood and the technicians who installed the new fireplace. The cost was very reasonable given that their work involved five trips to our house. Brett (owner) has always returned my phone calls in a timely manner, made referrals for issues that are outside his expertise, and ensured quality work. William (technician) has been especially thorough with the bi-monthly spraying, responded positively to any need to reschedule, and provided helpful information about the insect repellent. We have referred Gecko to many of our friends. It is a pleasure to work with a company that knows how to do things right especially in regards to customer service.

From the first moment I called to set up an appointment for a consultation through the actual service and payment I couldn't have been put more at ease, informed, reassured, supported and taken care of. Needless to say no one wants to have to deal with termites, but your service and personnel made a stressful, unwanted experience as pleasant as possible and I thank you most sincerely for it.

John quickly responded to my TM's and was on the job and on time, responding exactly to my requests. Gecko is on the top of my list of "GoTo" landscape companies.

It was excellent. I always do my research, so I was able to eliminate companies. Termidor HE is the top product in the industry, which is what this company uses. Number two reason of why I chose this company was for the price. I also have a six year warranty which covers everything. An additional year was added for being with Angie's List. The guy that came out knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly.

We had braced ourself for considerable expense. The gentleman from Gecko Pest Control evaluated the situation, said that it was minor and showed us how to operate a humane trap. He declined to charge us but since he had previously performed a termite inspection without charging a fee on a previous visit, we volunteered a courtesy payment of $35.00. He gave us the mouse trap. I was hugely impressed by his strong sense of ethics, as he could easily have taken advantage of us as naive customers. Please patronize this business!

Mr. Holland said the nest was old and that there was no evidence of recent activity. He checked my yard for other signs of pack rats. He gave me advice about how to deal with pack rats in the future. He did not charge me for the inspection and did not try to sell me a service I do not need at this time. I really appreciate his time spent on the inspection and his honesty.

The company was contacted for termite inspection and control, AND a rodent problem outdoors. The termite plan was discussed and will be initiated at a later date when seasonal weather is more appropriate. The pest control service (pack rats and mice) went according to plan and the company was flexible with additional needs that were discovered, such as pack rats invading and attempting to destroy wiring on a large ground level air conditioning unit outside. An expert crew member designed and implemented a shield for the A/C so that rodents could no longer enter. In addition, another entry way for rodents into the house from the roof (down the dryer exhaust vent) was blocked by a customized device placed over the vent. During all of these procedures and yard work, the leaders, Bret and John, were organized, skilled and professional. Their team members were hard working, polite, quiet, and respectful of all personal property. I cannot say enough good things about this whole experience with Gecko Pest Management.

After working with Gecko Pest Control when purchasing my new home, I learned that they also provide landscaping services. The president of Gecko, Brett, was involved from the very beginning and suggested to me that they do some work on the front yard as I had shared with him that it lacked "pizzazz." I met with John, who walked the property with me and talked about some ideas to bring in more light and to add or move plants to areas that looked better and made more sense. John was very professional and very knowledgeable, having been in the landscape business for many, many years. After providing an outline to the homeowner's association, the project got started. I was unexpectedly called out of town on the first day of the project, but I was able to see them getting started and excavating the existing property. I was pretty excited to see the finished product, and because I was not familiar with the environment in Tucson, I wasn't too sure what to expect. The project took just 3 days, and when I arrived home I was thrilled to see the results. Prior to the landscaping job, my yard was very plain and dark. I believe that the front yard had no upgrades from the original construction, as there really only was one tree and about 9 bushes. When I saw the yard for the first time, I couldn't believe it. Not only had they incorporated some of the plants I had asked about, the crew had put in a variety of other plants that look amazing and work really well. The yard looks great and has the wow factor that I was hoping for. John told me that he had a few ideas for the back yard and I can hardly wait to see it!
