Description of Work: Installed three windows. One of the windows has blinds In-between the glass. Definitely more expensive than other companies, but has lifetime warranty on glass and install.

Description of Work: We had four replacement windows installed by Anderson. They were prompt, courteous and professional. We are very happy with the new windows. We have had several different contractors in the house the past couple of years. The Anderson crew was by far the best to deal with! Would definitely recommend Anderson.

Description of Work: Poor communication; salesperson unable to get order right; surly, unprofessional attitude. Poor workmanship.

Description of Work: Cold call solicitor came to our home and we agreed to a consultation appointment. Consultation appointment took place and it was twice as long as had been scheduled (approximately 4 hours). We signed a contract to replace about half out windows (due to the expense we did not choose to replace all at once). Because our home is in an historic neighborhood, we insisted that the contract be contingent on verification that the window replacement not void the historic designation of our home which took a considerable amount of time. Once this was satisfied, the order was processed, the windows manufactured, installation scheduled, etc. The installation which was scheduled for 1 day took 2 and a half days but this was due to the installer taking his time to avoid damage to our sills and openings which are unique and not easily repairable without additional expense. Of the entire process, we were especially pleased with the installation. We do plan to have the remaining windows replaced by Anderson, however we are currently saving for this large expense.

Description of Work: The price was very high, but we wanted the best windows on the market. We replaced two double-hung windows and one slider in our master bedroom, and we replaced a 6x6 picture window in the upper area of our vaulted ceiling family room, including obscure glass, as we did not want to have to cover the window for privacy. The installers weren't prepared to safely lower the upper window, and performed what they said would be a controlled drop. However, some of the glass went into the deep end of our pool. The material used for the frames of the windows is very easy to scratch, but it appears to be exceptionally energy-efficient.

Description of Work: Very considerate and informative. A quality product and have had no problems since they were installed almost 2 years ago. Would not hesitate to recommend product or staff.

Description of Work: REPLACED 5 WINDOWS , ARRIVED LATE DID TWO WINDOWS, CAME BACK TWO DAYS LATER FINISHED THE JOB

Description of Work: The project entailed replacing all of the windows (9) and the sliding glass door to the patio. They measured several times and made sure the sliding door was handed the correct way (something the original builder did not do). There were several financing options. The workers made a minimum of mess and worked around my having several dogs in the house. |Compared to the original builders windows, some of which no longer functioned, the Anderson windows are great. They function well, drastically cut down on the heat from the sun and above all cut down on dust infiltration. |Did they reduce my energy costs? Not as much as I had hoped but given the other factors including that there was no stucco repair needed I feel the people from Anderson did a great job. |The only real down side was the cost. Anderson makes a great product so I knew what I was getting and the would stand behind not only the product but the installation.
