Description of Work: I wish I could give Tim Peacock (the owner) a special award for outstanding service. My 2 year old fridge was leaking water and the warrantee had expired. Tim researched the problem and discovered whirlpool had issued a special bulletin detailing that this was a known problem and would send replacement parts and cover the labor cost if I used their local repair service company. |Mr Peacock saved me several hundred dollars. He's an example of the way things used to be done in America when honesty and dependability were expected. Mr Peacock put my well being ahead of his and unfortunately for him made no money from his service, but from now on I will always use his company if I have a problem with my fridge. I can recommend him highly!!!!!

Description of Work: We had multiple online conversations and "Tim" was very professional and accommodating. An appointment was set up, but we were able to fix it ourselves. Tim was supportive even though we had to cancel. I would use them if we needed another repair because they were so nice.

Description of Work: They resealed a very large, very old, Subzero refrigerator and freezer. The parts were a special order. The installation went rapidly and was done well - the refrigerator and freezer are working considerable better.

Description of Work: My washing machine stopped working two days before expecting company for a week. mostly the machine functioned but it would not drain. seems it needed a switch. a nice gentleman with a nice young man apprentice(teenager) showed up ontime and were very pleasant. the switch cost $50, no problem, but the labor was $90. the teenager did the job in ten minutes. they both came and left in a total of 20minutes. this is a whirlpool, not a Ferrari. the labor charge was excessive and i won't use them again.

Description of Work: This is the second time I had them service my refrigerator. This time, the service man quickly determined that the compressor was bad. I knew those run several hundred dollars to replace and since it was an older fridge, I decided to replace it rather than repair it.

Description of Work: The freezer side of our refrigerator was leaking water and forming ice on the door making it hard to open door. The little door that feeds the ice into your glass was broke. Travis came and showed me where it was broke and said he would contact me with the information about the repair. Two days later he called and had the part. My frig was repaired three hours later. I believe the cost was resonable. Travis was professional and fast. I would use dependable again if I needed them.

Description of Work: The serviceman came the same day I called. That was important since we were leaving the next day for a month and I had to have the refrigerator fixed. He came a couple of hours later than he said but gave me a $10 discount off the final price. The problem was a broken fan, which he diagnosed and replaced in an hour. I thought the $200 bill was high, but we haven't had any problems since, and he came when I couldn't get anybody else. I would probably use this company again in an emergency.

Description of Work: I used Dependable Refrigeration in December 2011, for a refrigerator repair service.

Description of Work: Refrigerator freezer was dripping water and there was a smell similar to burning wire coming from the appliance. I called Dependable and they said they could have someone there by Noon, the same day (I called about 10:30 AM!) The technician, Tim, arrived around 11:45 AM, and put a mat by the door and donned booties before entering the house. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave a reasonable estimate, which I approved. He said he had the part on the truck and quickly swapped out the parts. Our refrigerator is working properly again. Ice is freezing, the water stopped dripping from the door and the burning smell has gone away.
