Description of Work: The repairman came to the house as I thought I was having problems with my washer...draining water,but it was a plumbing problem in the end. He chacked over everything and said he just could not charge me which I thsnked him for and said I would use Chrisites again just because of his honesty.

Description of Work: I needed the icemaker repaired due to a leak behind my refridgerator. John the serviceman repaired the water lines, and checked the icemaker. He had to return briefly to get the motor unfrozen, but with no charge to me. So far, I have had no problems. He also checked my built-in oven, because I thought I needed a new element, he reassured me that everything is fine. He did not try to sell me anything and he offered 30 days from the first visit for repairs, without charging for labor. He was courteous, tidy, and very pleasant. This is the first time I have used Angie's list, and I am very pleased with the results.

Description of Work: Broken icemaker for whirlpool refrig. Could not repair, but had replacement in truck. Quick and clean job. Thought $80 labor charge for 45 min work a little high.

Description of Work: Toubleshot and fixed a non-working Maytag washing machine. We also had a leak, which he said was due to bad seals and recommended replacing them. The estimated cost for this was $200, but surprisingly he recommended doing the seal replacement instead of buying a new machine (even though Christie's also sells appliances) as the model we have is apparently a very good one.

Description of Work: Replaced a drum belt, drum roller and exhaust hose on Maytag dryer.
