It went quite well. Chris and John arrived exactly at the time scheduled. They appeared to be knowledgeable and professional. They found a number of small cracks around the ceiling vents, which they sealed with caulking. They took care to do their work, and left the site at least as clean as when they started. They touched up the paint that had chipped off, when the vents were removed. They took attention to detail. It took about 3 hours total. I was quite happy with their work.

Our house is about 11 years old, but we've only owned it for 3 years. Not knowing what the previous owners had done, I decided it would be wise to get the dryer vent cleaned to reduce the risk of fire, etc. Hired Carson's to clean my dryer vent. On the phone he clearly explained the service that would be performed and the pricing. We agreed on a date and time (the very next day, in fact - so there wasn't a long wait). They showed up on time and started working immediately. They were professional and courteous -- and seemed to enjoy their job too. Since the exhaust for my vent was easily accessible (i.e. not on the roof), they were able to complete the whole job in about 1/2 hour. Since I never had this performed before, I didn't know what to expect, but the entire process was pretty quick and easy. They didn't mess with my natural gas connection -- so that made me feel good. Chris also gave me some suggestions on ways to make my dryer safer (e.g. use a rigid exhaust instead of the foil-accordion thing, try to keep the exhaust line straight, consider a CO detector, etc), but didn't try to sell me any additional stuff. If I would have known how easy this was, I would have done it a while ago. The amount of lint they extracted was shocking to me -- I can't believe the dryer worked at all. Looking forward to sleeping better at night knowing that I reduced the chance of an accidental fire -- and I'll have a more efficient dryer too. Will definitely have this service performed at more regular intervals. While they were here, I got an estimate for getting my HVAC ducts cleaned. I will probably hire them for that job in the near future.

Arrived promptly and did the job without interruption.

Scheduled an appointment approximately 1 week prior to work (delay was due to my schedule). Chris and his co-worker arrived promptly, worked efficiently and kept us informed of findings and work done. They moved furniture and replaced everything as found. They were careful with plants and thoroughly cleaned up. I think this was an excellent value for the time spent and work done. Will definitely have Chris back when the time comes to have my duct work cleaned again.

The crew was very knowledgeable, thorough, efficient and respectful. They showed up right on time and exceeded my expectations. I felt the purchase was an excellent value and will continue to use them for this service.

They arrived early, had great attitudes, were organized, methodical, thorough, polite and were professionally attired in company logowear. They cleaned up after themselves, as well. NOTE: Carson is very busy because they do excellent work. It may take some effort to reach them on the telephone. Be patient and wait for them...you won't be sorry.

Chris and John arrived right on time on Sept 10 and began working. They removed all the ceiling registers and cleaned them in addition to cleaning the HVAC ducts. When cleaning the bathroom fan vents, Chris found a fairly large wasp nest in the vent duct and came back on Sept 11 to clear them out. The dut cleaning cost $266 and the wasp eradication was $70. A few dust bunnies appeared later, but as dirty as the ducts were, I was not surprised or concerned. All in all, a very good experience, and my hat is off to a couple of very hard workers!

I was very pleased with the service I received from Chris and his associate. They were prompt and professional and seemed very knowledgeable. They sealed up numerous leaks at no charge, which I consider a real bonus, and also provided a sanitizing of the entire system. The sanitizing was a special with the cleaning, so there was no charge for that either. I considered the price I paid a good value for what I got. When they were through they cleaned up everything and left it the way they found it, which I really appreciated. The house feels so much cleaner now. I would highly recommend them!

Carson's Power Vac cleaned the ducts in our home in 2009 and after reviewing the comments on Angie's List, I called them again. They arrived when they promised, did a professional job, were friendly, and took care of the cleaning. I also had the dryer vent cleaned. They didin't try to sell extra services or talk me into additional work. They also asked for touch up paint and covered any nicks next to the air vents/returns. I'll call them again when it's time for this service.

The two men, Chris, the owner and his assistant, arrived exactly on time. They did neat work, sealed up 27 leaks (I live in an old townhouse community) and didn't even charge me an extra $20 for a vent/air duct thatI forgot to count that had to be cleaned. They returned my initial call quickly and were happy to reschedule when my timeline changed. They showed up promptly at the scheduled time, worked quickly and efficiently, and gave me many useful tips regarding various aspects of what they were doing. Chris even went above and beyond the services I'd contracted for and showed me how to pull out a bathroom fan that needed changing. They were polite, friendly, and efficient. I'd definitely recommend them.

They were vey punctual and called shortly before they arrived to let know that they would be accessing our roof. After the service was provided they explained to us what was done and how they measured the improvement to the air flow in the duct. We found the individual providing the service to be very friendly and professional. We will definitely use them again and on a regular basis now that we know this is a service that should be requested about every two years.

Was VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, GOOD. They even had good stories while we were waiting--seemed more like FRIENDS than employees--And they both spoke understandable English. I plan on having them come back after Monsoon when it"s cooler to add some insulation in the attic. Finally, they didn't add a "sur" charge or "gas" charge to come all the way to Sun City. Outstanding service. Prompt, neat, careful--we called them to remove a dead animal from the heating return vent and their service was so excellent we had them back for a complete air duct/dryer vent clean. Highly recommend them. Just great guys.

Chris and his crew arrived on time ( a few minutes early in fact) and walked the house with us and then the crew went straight to work. They were very thorough - it took them about 4-5 hours. When they found something unusual or which needed a decision, they immediately showed us what they were talking about and did their best to discuss how best to solve the problem (e.g. how best to seal an area of ductwork installed with differing sized ductwork in order to maximize efficiency and seal the system as best as possible; also made suggestions on filters etc.) They cleaned up well after themselves, though I did find a small pile of dust around the laundry dryer vent so they may have forgotten to check cleanup in that area. Everyone was very personable and easy to communicate with about concerns. The crew was professional and courteous and overall we were very happy with the work they did. We had never had our vents cleaned out before but due to a family member's increased asthma this year, we decided to do this and see if it would help. We now have a clearer (and cleaner) sense of the condition of our vents and breathe easier for it. The price was as quoted, the quality of work was excellent and the whole experience was positive.

When they arrived, they scoped out the job and went right to work. The job took about 20-30 minutes and I was told that the air flow was 107. They said normal was 102-109. I was very please with the job done and they left the area clean.

Prompt, thorough, professional service! The staff arrived on time, introduced themselves, toured the house paying great attention to detail in terms of all areas to clean. They were each remarkably polite, very careful to not disturb anything in the house, cleaned up thoroughly after each area where they worked and thanked me for giving business to their company. To clean the air ducts, they did need to tape off each vent. When taking the tape off, some paint peeled off the ceiling near 1 of the vents. They immediately brought it to my attention, apologized and offered to repaint the area; however, I could not find the particular paint they needed at the time of service. (I have since touched up the paint myself, so all is good.) Additionally, some of the paint came off some of the air vents when they were cleaning them. This may be a reflection of the quality of paint that had been used on the vents. Again, they brought this to my attention, and offered to paint these; however, I did not know where the paint was that we used on these 15 years ago. I still need to touch these up, once I find the right paint. They pointed out an issue in the fireplace (missing back plate in fireplace) and offered 2 solutions: 1 with another vendor & 1 through them. Although it was a rainy day, no one tracked any dirt through my house at all. It was a pleasure to hire them for these services. I would consider them for similar work in the future.

They got here on time, called to tell me they were on the way. Worked from the dryer end as well as the roof top vent end. Dryer now works better. While here, they checked out the fire place, and determined that no work was need. Over all was a great experience.

We called for an estimate and description of work to be performed. We got an estimate and that is what we paid - they even discounted it 5% for seniors! They arrived on time, completed the work when they said it would be done, and cleaned up completely. They clearly know what needs to be done and do it! I would definitely recommend Carson's and will use them again if I need to.
