I have been using their services for almost ten years. I initially contacted them for pruning when they had noticed that my Mesquite tree needed treatment before a specific Borrer Beetle would It was simple to schedule appointments and they were able to come and complete the work when I was not home as well. They have been wonderful to work with and I will be hiring again.

Their cost was in line with what we had expected and everything was fine. It has been several months and the tree we consulted with them has been doing well. We were very impressed with the qualifications and professional of the gentlemen who did the diagnosis. They arrived when they said they would and did all the work that had been discussed. We were very happy with their work.

Rick is very knowledgeable and took my needs into consideration; he did not try to upsell me on services I didn't want. The price was about $600 less than other estimates I had received. The Bartlett team was very professional: they arrived on time, trimmed the tree beautifully, and removed all debris in a timely fashion. They even removed two old stumps from my property for FREE. I recommend Bartlett to everyone.

They were great. The arborist came out a couple of weeks prior to evaluate the tree and create a plan for how to perform the job. He also spent time looking at all of the other trees on the property and offering suggestions and advice to improve the health of all of the trees. The crew that came clearly knew what they were doing. They got right to work and in no time, I saw one of them had climbed way up to top and was trimming out the dead branches. They spent several hours trimming and chipping up the cuttings and for the larger parts, cut them to the length I asked and stacked the logs for me. Overall, they did a great job. The next day, I received a follow-up call about the job and mentioned that I was still concerned about some branches overhanging the alley might still be in the way of the garbage truck service and they had someone out to clean it up the next day. Although I wish it were less expensive, you get what you pay for, and they did a fantastic job. I would absolutely have them back to keep up the maintenance on the tree in the future.

The rep who gave us the estimate was knowledgeable and was able to give us a printed quote on-site. The workers who showed up did a really excellent job. Two guys did the work, and they worked with amazing precision. They almost didn't need talk to each other because they seemed to anticipate each other's needs. They really worked well as a team. They completed the work quickly and were really good at clean-up. They cleaned up both the front and back yards where they cut down the trees and the street in front of the house where they ground up the tree branches and trunks. We couldn't have asked for more.

Very well. Bartlett's is the only company in town that doesn't advise doing just trimming, or just removal . . . they truly know trees and can help you keep them healthy, rather than making a quick buck by taking them down.

Took off a lot of tree and disposed of it all, including doing a complete clean up. End result a nice looking healthy tree. They were very professional, albeit a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

We decided to delay the tree removed because of our busy schedule. We were very impressed, however, with the representative who came out to give us the quote. Greg Doherty, the Arborist, spent over an hour talking about the damaged tree, as well as in taking soil samples for testing because of a problem with a different tree, a 50+ year-old grapefruit tree in the yard. He also shared information about how different trees and shrubs in the yard should be trimmed. He was very informative and gave us many suggestions about the proper care of the trees and shrubs in the front and back yards of our "new" home. He did not charge us for his time. We will definitely use Bartlett's Tree Service in November to remove our damaged tree. I highly recommend this company, as their tree removal service is fairly priced, and their expert Arborist is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

. They came at the time agreed and coned off the road and went to work. They came with their own bucket truck and chipper. The guys were well trained and used all the appropriate safety equipment including ear protection. Impressed with the professional appearance of the workmen and their demeanor. Took off the offending branches and the trunk in manageable pieces and chipped up as they went. The clean-up was amazing! Hard workers. Payment was due AFTER work was completed to our satisfaction. They also were accommodating to a neighbor who wanted part of the trunk for making turned bowls.

When we read the reviews on Angies List, we called Bartletts Tree Expert here in Tucson and were given an appointment right away. Rick Allen, the Local Manager came and assessed the tree and our needs and gave us an estimate, The crew showed up right on time, worked quickly, efficiently, were so friendly and interested in our concerns and questions. The two men worked safely, quietly, no radios, no boom-boxes, no cell phones ringing. The limbs went immediately into the hopper and when the job was completed, the yard and alley were completely picked up, no branches or signs of branches anywhere...they finished with a raking of the area. Bartletts can be very proud of their employees. Within about 2-3 business days, we rec'd a phone call from their office asking if we were satisfied with the work performed and were there any questions. Also, were told if we had any concerns in the future about the trimming , just to give them a call and they would send a representative out right away to address them. Now, that is what we consider a professional company. We are their biggest fans.!!!!!!

Very professional- but the estimatewas about 3 times more than others...I do believe he knwew what needed to bedone and would have done it!

Initial contact went very smoothly, quickly returned phone calls. There was a bit of delay around the memorial day holiday as far as setting up a date for service. Their prices were not the highest of the bids we got but were not much lower, however we were impressed by the knowledge of the arborist. On the day of service a crew of 3 men arrived on time and got right to work. They brought a crane which easily fit in the alley behind our home. They worked constantly, not even breaking for lunch. We had asked them to leave a few low hanging branches that we use to hang our lanterns and hummingbird feeders, also they were careful to not disturb a bird nest in the upper branches :) at my request The result was great, trees did not appear "scalped" and there is still plenty of shade. A few weeks in I can already see how the eucalyptus is filling in now that the dead branches are thinned away. They crew cleaned up all the trimmings, they were careful throughout to make sure our pool and windows and roof did not get litter. They worked for about 5-6 hours. They accept credit cards which is great for us.

Went well. I have noticed an improvement in the health of the trees serviced. Company did a nice job cleaning up and providing me with information regarding what they were doing and why.

The service was great. We moved from a different climate and she came out and recommended a type of tree and planted it. She did service on all the other trees as well. She recommended thing's that we needed to do to keep the trees healthy. She came back and visited to see how everything was going.

We had a 7 year old eucalyptus tree that needed to be removed. Bartlett’s tree service sent an arborist out but wouldn’t give my wife an estimate that day but did email us the estimate, which was extremely high. I called another tree removal service and they were able to remove the tree for $1000 less. The people we worked with from Bartlett’s were very kind and very professional.

We saw that a large branch had moved several inches in a matter of days and was sitting less than an inch from a glass porch roof. They were very good at rearranging schedules to help us out in a hurry. They worked 3 hours the first day to cable the large branches as wind was expected. They returned for 8 hours the next day to remove approximately 15% of the live branches and all dead, diseased, and broken branches. They cleaned everything up. We have used Bartlett to take care of these two very large and very old mesquites for several and they do fine work. We thought $2000 was somewhat high for this work compared with our previous experiences with them, based on the workers and equipment used; but in this case, if we paid a little extra for the amazingly quick response both from Dawn, who runs the office, and Robert Allen, the arborist, we saved a great deal considering what would have happened if the branch had moved just another inch. And the trees now should be in good shape for another few years.

Bartlett Tree Experts came promptly, charged me nothing which is very nice, and spent time giving me advise so I appreciated that.

I was very impressed with the entire way of this transaction, from the bidding to completion of job. All the people I came in contact with were very professioinal and courteous. I wouyld recommend to anyone.

Everything was perfect from being contacted right away, to fast service and excellent service. They went above and beyond by teaching as well as performing the work. We highly recommend them. My husband is very particular and not easily impressed but he was very impressed with their service.

Prior to the arrival of the 4-5-man tree crew, Greg Doherty, arborist representative for Bartlett's came to give us an estimate. Greg spent a lot of time walking all around the yard with us and got an understanding of our main interest, which was the health of our trees. Greg gave us his professional advice, presenting alternatives and listening carefully to our concerns. The estimate that resulted was an amazing document. Every tree and bush to be touched was individually described as to its location and what would be done (down to mentioning certain branches which were to be left uncut because they are favorite perches for hummingbirds)! When the crew arrived to do the work, they had a copy of this information and went over everything again with me to be sure they each understood the job correctly. As the guys worked over a couple of days, we got to know each other a little. They were all diligent, friendly and knowledgeable. They wasted no time, and if they had any questions, they'd ask my husband or me before proceeding with further work. It is hard to say how grateful we were to have such consummate professionals doing this work. These trees had been neglected for many years, and because of the age of some of them and the location of others, this was tricky work. In fact, at one point during the trimming, there was no sound in the yard for over an hour. Yet the crew kept passing by the window dragging branches to the chipper. I discovered that they were up in the olive trees, carefully pruning branch after mis-grown branch by hand. While the cost was high, we believe it was worth the price to have such attention, such thorough clean-up, and such careful workmanship for our trees and bushes. After Bartlett's had finished, the trees and the rest of the yard were immaculate, yet there was not the sense that the trees had been scalped. The yard looked natural and healthy once again. We definitely recommend Bartlett's without hesitation.
