Great. Bartlett sent an arborist to do the evaluation (at no cost) and to prepare a treatment proposal should any be needed. He took his time with me to look over each tree and offered numerous comments for each, including his assessment of the trees condition, what problems he saw, if any, and suggestions as to how to best care for the tree. In the end, he concluded that there were no professional services needed now and gave me his card should I have any questions or need services in future.

All work performed as proposed. All debris was removed. Staff were responsive and answered all questions.

Greg Doherty said he would send the quote by email "in a month or so", preferably after the Monsoon season. It has been 3 months and I have not received a quote.

When first contacted, Bartlett Tree Experts sent someone to meet with us to determine what work was needed. He arrived promptly on time. He did a thorough walkthrough and wrote up a proposal on the spot. The person doing the proposal explained what would be done and why. The price was well below another 'quality tree service' located in Tucson. The price was above another 'tree removal service' in Tucson. At the same meeting, we decided to hire Bartlett Tree Experts and the fellow who did the proposal arranged a date for the work to be done at that time. This involved the scheduling of a bucket truck which was needed for the tall shoestring acacia tree. On the day of the work, the tree crew showed up promptly as scheduled (even despite the fact that it was raining and they would have to wait a while for the rain to stop before starting work.) The crew was professional. They were thorough in their work which involved climbing in the mesquite trees to hand saw many branches. They cleaned up the debris thoroughly. Both workers were very pleasant to deal with. The work took almost five hours to complete. The job done was excellent. We would hire them again for sure.

Greg drove out to Three Points and gave an objective opinion on what was wrong with my Chilean Mesquite trees and how I can help or cure the situation. He was generous in giving me over an hour of his time. He gave me a lot of information and answered all my questions(I should mention he has extensive experience). He did not hit me with a high pressure sales job--which I appreciated. I believe his opinion was objective and not biased just to sell me a service. He truly wants the trees to get healthier and gives you his best opinion. We even got down on our hands and knees to expose the collar of each of the trees. This helped out a lot; It was nice to have an expert there so I don't make a mistake. There was no charge for the diagnosis or travel time. I feel much more confident in my approach to making the trees healthier. And in the future I would not hesitate to call upon Bartlett for expert advice on any tree-related problem.

Bartlett was 1 of 2 tree companies I contacted to provide an estimate for trimming 8 trees on the property. One tree was absolutely necessary to trim as a substantial arm was leaning over onto a wall and into the driveway. Rick from Bartlett provided a quote that broke down the work into several options (some or all of the trees). Their prices were competitive though slightly more expensive than the other company. I still chose them to fix the critical tree and 2 others. The crew of 2 did a fantastic job. They cut the offending arm, and their thinning work on the remainder of the tree showed an eye for understanding the natural flow of tree growth. This was no simple hack and cut job. They also removed dead branches from the other 2 trees, raised the canopy and otherwise improved the health and overall appearance of the trees substantially.

They're not necessarily the cheapest, but they're not the most experience either. They are very good at what they do, they use environmentally sensitive products. They are very aware of the health of the tree, the environment, and aesthetics. It always looks nice.

F.A. Bartlett Tree Experts ? Grade A+ March 27, 2015 completed pruning of two Oak trees to remove diseased, broken branches and improve appearance and density of the trees. Reduced the crown height to enhance the views and structural development. The Bartlett team arrived with a huge ?bucket? truck and proceeded to treat both trees. After the job, all debris was removed and afterward, the surrounding yard looked as it did before the work was done. Bartlett Greg Doherty personally reviewed the work with me and answered all questions and completely satisfied all questions that I had about the job. I previously shopped various tree companies and found Bartlett to be one of the most experienced companies and applied all the large equipment necessary to get the job done ? and Bartlett was very competitive in their estimate! In fact, of the professional companies, Bartlett was the lowest price for the job! Believe me, cut-rate operations cost far more in the long run. Bartlett found that my trees had previously been pruned by a less experienced outfit which simply ?topped? the trees and introduced random, erratic growth in the tree-tops. Bartlett pruned the trees to remediate! If you need tree-work that you can trust, I highly recommend calling Bartlett Tree Experts to get the job done right, at a cost far less than it would cost to correct a chop-job, done by a less experienced company. Bartlett also has the latest injection-equipment to inoculate trees against mites and disease. Quality is most economical in the long run!

I have used Bartlett for several years and I highly recommend them. All of their employees truly care about their work and about my trees. These folks arrive at my house and tell me how beautiful my trees are and then they carefully trim them to make them more beautiful. The Bartlett experience starts with a meeting with Rick Allen, their arborist. He is extremely knowledgeable about trees and tree issues. He tours your trees with you and provides suggestions about their care. He then puts together a trimming/fertilization plan. The folks who come to trim and fertilize are professional and have incredible expertise. I just can't say enough about how terrific this company is. I highly recommend them.

Bartlett removed a very large willow acacia that had fallen and was beyond saving. We were very upset and saddened by the loss of this tree. We received 2 other bids. Bartlett offered the best bid. They cut the branches into logs for us and stacked them neatly. The remainder of the tree was ground into mulch on site. We were able to remove what was left of the stump ourselves. We were pleased with their honesty, service and overall expertise.

They did a good job with the tree trimming and getting the mistletoe out of the trees. We have a problem with one of their workers tripping over, dragging branches over, or otherwise breaking off an irrigation spout. If I had not, unusually, taken the dog for a walk at 5:30 AM I would not have heard and then noticed that the irrigation head was broken off and was gushing water all over the front yard. It was broken off deep in the soil too, so it took quite a yank to break the head off in that manner. I called the rep, who did promptly call me back. He said he would look into it and did call me back to report that no one knew they had done it, or would admit it. We also noticed today that our gutter was bent where a branch obviously damaged it when falling on it. It has just left a very sour taste in our mouths. If I had not taken that unusual walk we would have been wondering why our water bill sky-rocketed and had to pay a really high water bill, along with losing all that water!! We won't be using them again.

They are excellent. It's the best place in town and they have all the equipment that you need. We used the Angie's List discount. They sent some guys. They did a great clean-up. They sent some guys to do the estimate. It was right on the money. They showed up on time. They cleaned up. They had to use a crane over the top of the house to get the tree. We went to other places and they want to charge us extra for the crane. When we went with Bartlett, they really solved the whole problem. It was great. The quality was very good. They came out very quickly. The schedule was very close to the estimated date. It worked out great. They were right on time. I would absolutely use them in the future.

This company was great from the get-go. Apparently their crew made a mistake and then came back to rectify it promptly.

Everyone was very professional. They explained exactly what they would be doing. Were very friendly and didn't mind all the questions I asked. After all the work was done the yard was cleaned of all debris. The Palo Verde looked a 100 times better. But after they had left I looked at the Palo Verde and it looked a little out of balance. I called Greg and sent him pictures and was told that when the Mesquite tree was planted it would be taken care of. I didn't get the Mesquite tree until October 31 because a good one couldn't be found until then. Greg would not sell me a tree that was not in good shape. Again when the arborist came to plant the tree they were very professional and gave advise about where the tree should be planted. The tree was guyed/staked so it would grow into the best shape. After the tree was planted they corrected the "off balance" Palo Verde. I will continue to use Bartlett Tree Experts for all my tree and shrub work.

Greg was the person that came out to my home. He was very nice, knowledgeable, and also gave me information about my other plants. When I first called the secretary she told me to tell him to take off the Angie's List discount, which I did. When he came back from his truck with the proposal the discount was not taken off. When I said something about it again he didn't say anything. After calling other places on Angie's List I decided to accept their proposal. I called and spoke with the secretary. She said that she would call Greg to let him know and he would call me back. Greg called and left me a quick message but I still had questions so I left him a message. He didn't return my call until the day before the work was to be done. He said he was sorry he was leaving on vacation and was busy getting things done. Kevin was the one that came out to trim my trees and was a great guy. He was very nice and very knowledgeable. My trees have never had a real pruning so he had a lot to do and did a great job. He cleaned up after himself and even helped a neighbor with a few things. When I received the bill the discount was still not taken off. I left a message for the secretary and when she called back she said she would take care of it. I will use them again in the future.

They are wonderful. He is an arborist. They did a beautiful job and there was no damage. They were very good. It was quite a lot and it took almost 2 days. I'm going to have them come back and treat the pine trees because there s a beetle going around that is killing all the pine trees in the area. They were very careful to explain that it may or may not do the job. They were very punctual. I don't know if they are more expensive than other people but given the quality of the work, it is well worth it.

All went as expected. Three guys showed up and all three trees were trimmed and my yard was cleared of the trimmings in about two hours time.

They are extremely knowledgeable. I think they are the best in Southern Arizona. I had an infected tree and they stopped the weevils from spreading to the other tree.

Greg assessed the tree and gave me an estimate. We talked about specific needs for care, and to be especially considerate of a disabled resident. Some of that was in person, some was via e-mail, and he confirmed in e-mail that the specifics were part of the contract. I was not present the day work was performed, but when I returned, the work was done exactly as arranged. The resident was treated very well, the site was very clean, & nothing was damaged. This was a very professional job, and the price was competitive. I'm pleased to give Bartlett an excellent rating.

Greg informed me that they do not recommend topping trees, he did NOT recommend removing it . He inspected it and found some kind of bee was eating the leaves but said that was not a problem. He advised me that he could come back at a different season to see if this was shading my solar panels. Meanwhile, he inspected all of my plants in my small 10 x10 patio area, advised me about possible problems with them and explained why they use injections to kill pests instead of using sprays. VERY professional, no charge to me. I need some work on one plant so he advised I wait until he had other work in my area so he wouldn't have to charge me as much for a visit for one plant. Checked out my Texas Ebony tree and told me it was planted at the correct level, etc. MUCH different from the other tree service, Quality tree who wanted to take out my tree for something like $380 and prune it for $370 and gave me a hard sell to try to get me to do that.

My Bottle tree was not filling in on one side. It was a lopsided tree. Using an Air-Spade and compressor, they blew out the soil from the trunk of the tree to protect the roots and found a large root, a stem girdling root, that was indenting the tree on one side and apparently stunting it's growth. They carefully removed the root and pulled the soil away from the base of the tree to the proper level, since it had been planted too deep initially. A few days later, they fertilized this tree and several others.

This was the first time we had hired them for the work. A contractor who had done some work for us recommended them to us. They did what they said they were going to do, were thorough, and cleaned up well. They did a really great job!

They arrived when they said they would and proceeded to remove all of the oleanders. They cleaned up all the debris when they were finished and applied herbicide to prevent regrowth per our agreement. Also they came back 2 weeks later and applied more herbicide as needed (not much was needed). This was the second time I used this company and I am still happy with their professionalism and prompt response to my requests. I will use them again in the future when the need arises.
