The wash motor had to be replaced: the part was ordered, came in and Bob returned to install it as promised. Flawless repair, and a superb diagnostician. We had been having problems with our refrigerator ice maker, he diagnosed it, and a defective instant cold thermostat at no charge. I could not have been more impressed with every aspect of this experience. I like to do many things around the house myself, but when I meet a true professional such as Bob, it makes me realize my limitations. Great company with great staff!

This was the first time we used them. He was on time and he was very professional. He didn’t waste much time in evaluating what needed to be done. He did say that it would take about a week to get the part but it took a couple days longer than that. I had to call the company and ask what was happening and they said they would follow up. They called me the next morning and told me my part was in and that he would be here the next day or so. He was quick getting in and out and he was pretty tidy. It was a positive experience. So far my stove seems to be fine. I asked him something about my dishwasher and he indicated it was a belt that wasn’t working right. He gave me a verbal estimate to fix it. If I decide to fix the dishwasher, I’ll call them again. I’m not a high grader but based on what I know, I’d give them an A. I looked up the part on line and his part cost was what I saw online. His labor cost was high; it was $125 and he was in and out in 15 minutes. However, I’m flying in the dark with the price.

Our refrigerator conked out in the middle of the night, and when it was discovered in the morning, the temperature inside had already risen to food-spoilage highs. I called one Angie's List high-rated repair service, and was told that the earliest they could come out was in four days. They referred me to ATS, and I contacted them at approximately 8:30 am. I was told that someone would come to my house between 11 am and 1 pm. The technician was very professional. He arrived when he said he would, and wasted no time in diagnosing the problem and effecting a repair. I thought the bill was a little high, but probably in line with the average charge.

It didn't: I sent the technician home.

Called for warranty service. They came out at the scheduled time. Had to order a part and called when it came in a few days later. Returned just as promised and replaced the bad part. No charge since the microwave was under warranty.

I never really met them personally but they showed up on time. They did the job and fixed it. I do not have anything bad to say to them at all. They did a confident job and showed up on time and it was fixed. Everything worked exactly like they said it would. They called me when the guy got there. I authorized it and it did not come up with any other problems, just fixed the part of the oven that was not working. I think it was the oven itself. They replaced the part. They did everything on time and I was happy with them.

We liked the way they did business here and they seemed to know what they were doing. They did well and were pleasant enough.

When the repairman came out, he seemed knowledgeable and I felt good right away in using him. At first he pulled the refrigerator out and he noticed that there was a great deal of dust all over the coils. We vacuumed out the dust and he said this is probably the reason why your refrigerator is not working. While he left, everything seemed to be working fine for 4 days, but it stopped again and I called them again. This time, the fan had stopped working. He ordered a new fan, installed it the next day, and the refrigerator is working since then. He did not charge me for the service call. He charged me only for the fan and the installation.

Gas dryer would stop heating after turning on initially, and the dryer was making a lot of noise when operating. I searched Angie's list and quickly identified Authorized Technical Services Inc. Called on 6/12/12 and scheduled an appointment for the next morning Wednesday 13 June 2012. The scheduler, Stephanie, was clear, polite and helpful. I was told that I would be contacted by the technician Gary and given a 2 hour window. The next morning I got a call at 8:00 AM saying that he would arrive between 9:00 AM and 11:00AM. Gary arrived at 9:25 AM and quickly diagnosed the problem. He needed to order the coil and said he could come back on Friday. He did exactly that. He said it would cost $182.44 ($71.90 parts $104 labor and $6.54 tax ). I paid him up front, but I could have given him a partial payment I think. I got a call from the main office confirming my appointment. Gary called back on Friday gave me a two hour window, and he arrived and finished within that window. The dryer works just like new now; so quite too! Our laundry room is very confined and he was able to fix crimped hose in back and clean out unit as well. No additional costs were paid. As for costs, I could have purchased the coil kit for $23 dollars with shipping on the internet, but I was charged $31.80. So a 40% markup and the part was there 2 days later. I'm very pleased with the professionalism and dependability of the the service. As for price I'm sure it was comparable to other service calls.

I called ATS because they had great ratings on Angie's List. My washer had been making noises on the spin cycle for some time, but finally it got to the point where it no longer worked on the delicate cycle. I was hoping it could be fixed, but suspected that it couldn't. I could not be there when the technician Marty came to check the washer out, but my elderly mother was at home. She reported that he was polite and very efficient. When Marty called me he told me that the washer could be repaired, but the cost would be 2/3 the price of a new washer. He also told me he had tighten things up (no extra charge!). The washer is still running and much quieter. I will definitely call ATS the next time I need service on my appliances!

They are an authorized KitchenAid appliance repair company, and that is why I got their name from KitchenAid. I used them twice in the last month. The water that we get from the door of our refrigerator would not shut off. It just kept dripping and made a mess on the floor. They came in with a part and found that it was mis-marked. So, he came back a week later and changed the part and it worked fine. I told him that my wife was always complaining about the hinges on the stove door. He told me that the hinges were shot. We ended up having him come back after he did the refrigerator. He came back with the hinges and was in and out in probably 40 minutes. He charged me $150 for the refrigerator and $170 for the stove. Jim was the guy that came in and he knows his stuff. He just got right down to it and got it done. The guy knew what he was doing.

Our refrigerator stopped working late Friday night. Called ATS early Saturday morning (around 7) and were told they weren't open until 8 but the answering service would get our request to them as soon as they opened. We got a call just after 8 and were told it would probably be after 4 when the service person could get to us as they were booked with calls. The office called back a little while later to say someone might be able to get to us late morning because the parts store closed at noon. The tech called around 10:15 and was here by 10:30 in time for us to get the part and fix the problem. This is the same tech who had come out once before when we had a problem with the dishwasher and he fixed that. The tech was great - professional and friendly. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

They generally schedule a couple days in advance and then call you that day to give you a 2 hour time window when they will be there.

They should up exactly when they said they were going to do. They guy was good at explaining what was wrong with my washing machine and made a good recommendation.

No big story to report .We it a B on pricing as we were charged for just more or less advising us on our range stove-top. Somewhat disappointing after having used their services many times over the years. Technician Bob is always a pleasure to have & made up for the added charge which they obviously felt was fair & necessary for a small business.

They are very professional. I have used them for many years.

My experience with them was very good. It was a good service. They were on time which was very important. They were able to fix the problem. The most important thing was that they were on time. They had to come out twice and they were on time both the times. It was good for me when I got call backs from them when they said that they were going to call back which was awesome.

I appreciated the repairman's honesty and advice and will use Authorized Technical Services (ATS) in the future.

They pretty much performed as expected. They showed up when they were supposed to and I was satisfied.

I don’t like that you have to schedule weeks in advance but he had the part that my refrigerator needed so he was able to fix it on the spot.

It was a service call. They were very professional. They showed me exactly what was wrong. They also told me of some things I could do to prevent other problems.

ATS set realistic expectations about the availability of replacement parts for electric dryer and time turn-around. The service person was very professional and the dryer is working very well a year after the repair was done.

Was able to determine that the problem was caused by the original installation (by another plumber) as part of a kitchen remodel. With this information, I was able to get a refund for the entire cost from the remodeling company. Great work!
