Great done on time.

Clayton, from Arizona Grill & Hearth came to our home after making an appointment several days beforehand. He was prompt, friendly, and very professional. We were extremely impressed with Clayton's knowledge about direct vent gas fireplaces. He discovered that a small amount of soot had formed on the plate covering the back vent that was not being used. Our firebox has vents on top and back depending on application when installing. When fireplace was turned on initial moisture was forming inside fireplace and making soot run down back of firebox. He cleaned the area in question, adjusted the flame so it would be at the proper height to avoid excess moisture, and gave an overall inspection of the fireplace (and forced air blower kit we had previously installed). In our conversation with Clayton he also discussed his knowledge of pellet stoves and their repair and maintenance, along with gas grills. I would only have Clayton back if we ever needed any further service with our fireplace. Clayton knows his business inside out. A wonderful representative for Arizona Grill & Hearth!

The two servicemen were very knowledgable, professional, and courteous. They explained the problem and restarted the Heatilater quickly. They also cleaned the glass and explained why the glass the the unit had clouded up.

Arrived late, but had called earlier to warn that he was running behind. Several areas around were flooding from heavy rain. Diagnosed problem, had part on truck, installed. Very professional.

We were delighted that our "new" house had a built-in outdoor gas grill, and we used it several times with mixed results. The unit showed its age, was cooking unevenly, and the innards just didn't look right. After checking Angie's List and several Web sites, I called Arizona Grill & Hearth to see if someone could take a look at my grill and tell me whether it could be repaired or needed to be replaced. They said someone would be at my house within the hour! (They had had a cancellation.) Eddie showed up a few minutes later in a beautifully painted truck, and within minutes had pulled out four burners and showed me how warped, clogged, and wasted they were--no wonder things weren't cooking evenly. Eddie replaced the burners with new ones he had in his truck, re-set the stops that held the grate in place, lubed the knobs, and he was done. His company no longer does grill-cleaning, so after he left I degreased the grates and vacuumed up the debris with my shop-vac, and now I'm ready to grill like a pro. This service call saved me the cost of buying a replacement grill, which would have cost at least $1,500, so it was money well spent. Mahalo nui loa (which means "thank you very much" in Hawaiian, in keeping with the Aloha spirit of the company).

The final product came out very nice, but a couple of issues came up with the design and construction. To their credit, they took responsibility and made everything right. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who was building an outdoor kitchen.

We went into the store looking for a gas grill, mentioned the brand we were curious about. They had a consignment for sale - done deal!

They installed the part. They also cleaned our two fireplaces. Both the barbecue and the fireplaces look and work perfectly!

Eddie, the installation technician, arrived on time and quickly got to work. He was obviously very experienced in fireplace installations and gave us some important safety advice that slightly modified our original plan for our benefit. The installation went quickly and smoothly.

Workman called in advance, arrived on time, was courteous, thorough, capable, and helpful. he left the premises clean.

Job was finished quickly. When I thought I smelled gas a few days later, they came back quickly and again checked the entire gas system. It may have been some residual gas smell in the cabinet.

The grill is ceramic and weighs about 200 pounds. The original table was made of wood, and a stretcher between one of the front legs and a rear leg broke, so the wheel was canted and inoperable. Val advised me about the metal tables offered and related his personal experience with a metal table. He ordered the new table for me and it came in just a few days. He and an assistant brought the new table to my home, placed the grill in the table, and hauled away the broken table. He is such a nice, helpful person and seems to love his work. Megan, his assistant, is very helpful, too. They are both good communicators, calling when the table came in, setting up a delivery time, calling again when there was a minor (hour-long) delay. I will continue to use this company.

Quick response and excellent service.

After checking with a couple other fireplace folks, we met Val Romero at the Tucson Home and Garden Show and he came across as truly being interested in our business. While the other was and quot;interestedand quot; he was not interested enough to make the drive to Vail from Tucson to take measurements and see just what was needed. Without hesitation Val inquired when he could come out and work us up a quote. After a few days Val was out and took the measurements and showed us the different stoves that would work... we picked what we thought we wanted, but pretty color pictures in a brochure only goes so far. The next weekend we visited Val's store and looked at the real things and thus changed our mind and are very happy we did... fancy was just a bit too fancy for our setting (Photo Attached). We ran into a few delays as the stove did not quite line up and Val and his guys had to make some adjustments, and living in the Santa Rita Mtns didn't make it easy for Val's team to run back in town to grab the needed items. Overall Val and his team did an Excellent job and I am sure that when when those OBTW moments came up, even he was a little frustrated, but off town they went... I figure the profit he was to make was spent on the extra trips to our little piece of paradise. We are very pleased with Val's work and would recommend him to anyone that is in the market for a fireplace insert or stove... I understand that he even does outdoor grills. Just an additional note, we were working with Rock Solid Solutions (also reviewed here on Angie's List) having the fireplace rocked at the same time as working with Val and they worked together great. 2 business men that own their own businesses and do great work and worked together to keep the wife happy. (Even paid off for me :-) )

Due to asthma and a very poor fireplace design, we were not able to use our wood-burning fireplace. We began looking around and ended up talking to Val at Arizona Grill and Hearth. Val came out and took a bunch of measurements. He let us know that he had a floor-model we could purchase at a discount. They came out and installed the gas fireplace. There were some problems with oxygen starvation extinguishing the gas fireplace almost immediately after lighting, but Val was very good about sending a tech out for repair until it was working consistently. I would definitely recommend Arizona Grill and Hearth for fireplace, barbecue, or outdoor kitchen work.
