Description of Work: They fixed the problem, but I felt that the purchase I made through Angie's list wasn't honored and it cost me the price of a regular service call.

Description of Work: We had a water pipe leak in our great room. The pipe was under our 6 inch concrete floor. They came, identified the problem/leak location, pulled up the carpet, jackhammered the concrete to expose the leak, replaced the pipe section, tested it for any problems, poured new concrete(leveled it), put the carpet/pad back in place, cleaned up after themselves(during every step of the process), removed the plastic cover barriers(put down and around to protect our furniture etc.) and let us know it was fixed. Don't recall the cost, but considering the total job, it was fair for all they had to do. The job took a couple of days(understandable) and I would not hesitate to use them again for what I perceived to have been a tough job. I was home during the work and they made the entire process tolerable to the best of their ability. Good communication from them as to why/what they were doing while they worked to fix the problem.

Description of Work: Backflow test of the HOA irrigation drip system required by the city. Arico does it for us every year. They've also repaired the backflow valve when parts wore out.

Description of Work: The plumber came to the house as scheduled. I explained what I wanted him to do and his first response was that it would cost x Dollars more than I had already paid for with the special from Angie's list. When I asked why --he said it was more than what was covered by the special. I said okay, and he went to the truck to get some tolls. When he returned from the truck he said that he spoke to his boss and the price was 3X---I told him to get lost. Very unprofessional.
