Arico Plumbing Heating Cooling

I've been a client of Arico for nearly 20 years & they've always provided excellent service, with professional & qualified staff. On this visit, Robert did a great job installing the new water heater. There were challenges in removing the old heater, but with his experience & expertise, they were resolved quickly. This is the second time Robert has been the technician to assist with a plumbing problem. He's always professional, but at the same time very personable & easy to deal with. When I saw him pull up in the truck, I was glad to see him again. Once the installation was completed, the area was cleaned up nicely. Will definitely call Arico in the future, and hopefully Robert will be the technician to answer the call.

As in the past, I was very pleased with the initial evaluation/estimate. He took the time to thoroughly examine the situation and explain the options. He even volunteered to make a return trip once Ihad done further excavation in order to provide a more accurate estimate. The work itself was performed well the, workers were punctual, professional and spent the time to do the job to high standards. I would certainly use Arico again.

I have used them for 10 years. They do good work and they were on time. They do it right the fist time and they don't come back.

The installer seemed inexperienced. Replacing the water heater took him two trips on two different days. He had trouble figuring out where to shut off the electricity to the water heater-- and ended up damaging the fuses, which had to be replaced before the new water heater would work.

I would highly recommend Arico. Since moving to the area about a year ago I had tried two other plumbing companies. They were average, so I kept looking. I first took advantage of a toilet special that Arico had listed on their website. Everyone I have interacted with has been responsive and professional. Mike came out to install the toilet and did an above average job, even running out to get a specially colored caulk to use that matched my floor; this was at no additional charge to me. Mike was also willing to give some advice about another troublesome toilet I had. I was so happy with the experience that I had Arico return to replace a second toilet and the kitchen faucet. I requested and got the same technician. Again, I was not disappointed. Arico will be getting my plumbing business from now on.

I called this company around 2 PM on a Friday afternoon. The woman answering the telephone was short, curt and spoke as if I was interrupting her tea time. I tried to arrange to have someone go to my property in order to give me an estimate on how much the work would cost to repair a possibly broken water main. She said it would cost $65 per hour for the estimate. I pointed out that their Angie's List ad showed they did free estimates. Her response was "Other companies may give free estimates, but we don't. It will be $65 an hour and can take up to two hours." To top it off, she said no one could go look at it until at least Monday. I called three other plumbers on Angie's List: one went out that day and the other two went out the morning of the 4th of July! Obviously I contracted with one of the other companies. All three were pleasant, courteous and were great to work with!

They're good, reliable and honest. They cleaned out the pipe well. They're reliable and came when they said they would. That's important, when you have plumbing problems. I don't have anything bad to say about them, because we've had them for years and we've always been satisfied with them.

My experience with ARICO was fantastic. I had called other recommended plumbers/HVAC providers and they either couldn't do the job because they only did plumbing work or they only did airconditioning work or they didn't return my call at all. ARICO came right out to the house and gave me a very reasonable estimate. The man they sent out was very nice and very professional. Early the next morning they sent a plumber and an HVAC team and within 3 hours they had the whole job completed. Both the gentlemen who did the work were also very nice and very professional. I would not hesitate to use ARICO for any future plumbing or airconditioning problems. Also, the water tank they installed was the very highly rated Bradford White model.

The plumbers were friendly and professional and completed the work within one-half hour with the new faucet we purchased and couple of additional parts they supplied. We had an Angie's List coupon and did understand after receiving the invoice that the coupon was a specific dollar amount to be credited from the total bill. The plumber arrived with a helper who obviously does not work for free (surprise surprise $30/Hour). Again, both were friendly and professional, however, my husband felt that having to pay an additional amount for the helper was not necessary since he or I could have supplied the less than 10 minute help in holding the faucet and sprayer for the plumber. Otherwise so far we are satisfied with the work.

Well - the plumber showed up on time and did what was expected. The only concern I had was related to how the Angie's List coupon applied to this work - I paid $39 for the "special" and as far as I could tell the $39 was just deducted from the total amount bill but maybe there was a discount figured into this that just wasn't specified on the bill.

Called me before arriving wanted to make sure he could arrive a little early. Assessed all the work that needed to be done asked which was the most important. Unclogged the shower drain in less than 15 minutes. Ran into several issues with the faucet with the new pieces not being completely compatible (could have been why it was so cheap) but he was able to make alternations and make it work without adding any additional materials. We talked in detail on what to do about the toilet as I have already replaced all the internal parts and it will still not flush correctly and sometimes not at all. I've hesitated to get it replaced because when they tiled the bathroom they did not remove the toilet just cut the tile and grouted right up to the edge. He gave me several options and suggested what he would do and why including stories of what happened to another customer with a similar issue. Really made me feel like he cared about the work he was doing and wanted me was a happy customer.

They were able to diagnosed the problem at a very low cost and they solved the problem very simply and at minimal cost.

They were able to install a new 50 gal. Bradford White within 24 hrs. Price was about $100 dollars lower than the other companies I contacted. Their technician was prompt and explained everything in detail.

While having the master shower re-tiled, we also needed it re-plumbed with a new control valve and a change in shower head location. Arico scheduled it the day after I called. The plumber, Kenny, showed up exactly on schedule and completed the work in about an hour and a half. Arico had been recommended by a relative in town and they performed as he said they would. Kenny was professional and polite and explained everything that was being done.

I have used AriCo 4 times in the past 15 years, at 2 separate residences. The first two were about 14 years ago, were they detected an internal water leak in the kitchen, without tearing the walls apart. The second was when I had them to replace the entire plumbing lines inside the house - it had been determined that the piping used when the house was built was subject to leakage after aging, and it was the insurance that paid for both of these services. The third service was in October 2012. I had been in this house for 8 years when I noticed a leak in the front yard. I called AriCo, and they patched the main in a short period of time. I found out, through another plumbing supply house, that the pipe material they used for the water main was no longer discontinued the year after I purchased the house, so that it was destined to leak. This last service I found another leak in the main in the front yard. I decided rather than having them come out every six months to fix another leak, just to have the line replaced. I called AriCo on June 4th, and they made an appointment for the next day - the service technician was to be there all day performing the task. He arrived on the 5th early, and got started. Due to the large number of rocks that he encountered, the job could not be finished that day. He came back early the next day, the 6th, and completed the job. The one thing that was wonderful is that AriCo hauled the rocks out of the yard, rather than burying them again. And there were a considerable amount of rocks. I am very pleased with the service, how they went above and beyond. Also, the cost of the service was reasonable for what was completed.

The experience wherein they lost me as a customer: This company has performed other services satisfactorialy for me. However, last summer I had sold my house. Prior to closing, we realized that the furnace/ AC combo was not working. I paid them to come out and perform repairs at least 2 or 3 times. They charged me for parts and labor each time. The last time, the technician told me he would have to get a new board from Train. I awaited his call. When I didn't hear from him for 2 weeks, I called him back. He told me at that time that he had not ordered the part because the owner did not want him to continue servicing this unit. The owner wanted him to tell me that they would like to replace the unit. I can't say that they performed the initial service in bad faith, but that is about as horrible a treatment of a customer as I can imagine. Unfortunately I had to close on the house (I disclosed this issue - the new owners were going to repair the unit through home warranty), so I don't know the outcome of that unit, but I certainly won't call this company again.

They did a good job installing the hot water heater. They were on time. I called them one day, they were here the next day with the water heater. They did it very quickly. They cleaned up after themselves. They are on the high side but when your water heater breaks, you don't have much of a choice. In view of the circumstances, they were fine. Everything was good.

The work was professional, thorough and well done on time . All questions I had were thoroughly addressed. Manuals on new installations were provided. I have had no previous plumbers who completed so many tasks as quickly and efficiently. Ken also did an excellent job of cleaning up his work area as he proceeded from one task to another. Great job. o

I was watching my neighbor's house while he was on vacation. During the cold snap, Jan 11-15, two outside faucet pipes burst from the freeze. The neighbor has worked with Arico, so I called them. They were able to get a repairman out on the morning of 1/24. The repairman showed up on schedule, repaired the pipe, installed a new faucet, and checked other outside pipes to make sure they were sound. He also noted that sometimes all the wrapping in the world won't save a pipe from freezing.

Each service call went well and was completed timely.

Called Arico to reinstall all the kitchen plumbing that was disconnected for the installation of granite counters. Due to a miscommunication with the granite company (I thought they were arranging the plumber) I needed to get someone quickly. I have used Arico in the past, and recommended them to my clients (I'm a Realtor) on many occasions, so of course I called them first. They were able to come out the next day. The technician was on time, very pleasant, did a great job, and tested everything before he left. He even let me know that the manufacturer of my new faucet offers free replacement parts as long as you still have the original paperwork. The office called and let me know when he was on his way as well. I will continue to use and recommend Arico!
