We were very impressed with his conduct in all he did. How was a professional construction owner with pride who did what he said he would do, was punctual, did his job we'll, at a fair price. We plan to have him do additional work on our home this summer & are confident he will do another good job.

Jason and his crew did an outstanding job, as usual. We have used them for major renovations and will use them in the future. They pay attention to detail and stay focused on getting the job done in a timely manner. Jason keeps us informed and involved when problems arise. For example, after the old fireplace demo, Jason saw that there was no lintel, a load-bearing component. Previous owners had removed it for some reason. Jason had a new one installed (not included in cost of stonework). We are extremely pleased with the stonework and overall end result. Jason and crew helped make our design a reality.

Jason and crew did an excellent job of taking down a section of cabinets in the kitchen, restoring celing, adding pendant lighting, replacing countertops with granite, replacing shelving in laundry area, installing new sink, installing new range, refrigerator, washer and dryer. The work was professionally done and he is very congenial to work with.

We had contacted Jason initially to discuss a kitchen remodel for our new home. He was prompt, professional and provided very good advise as well: He was direct when he felt some ideas might not work, presenting other options where possible. He showed his team spirit and agree-ability by suggesting other contractors to work with in tandem on the project (s) in order to get the job done to his high standards especially if he felt they might have specific expertise or familiarity in certain areas that he might not possess. He was also amenable to our using our own contractors (specifically our plumber) to complete part of the project. Although we ultimately were unable to start the kitchen remodel (etc.) with him due to other unforeseen pressing issues, we would not hesitate to use his services in the future or to recommend him to others. It is clear that he has high standards and a commitment to doing the very best job possible, even at his own expense when referring out to others in some instances. He seems very capable, experienced and knowledgeable.

Estimates are prompt and competitive. Final costs match estimate exactly. Quality of work is outstanding. Work is done in such a way as to minimize mess in the rest of the house and clean-up is thorough. Now, here's the best part. With most contractors, it's necessary to watch closely to be sure things are done properly. You don't have to watch Jason and his guys like a hawk. They're responsible and conscientious. The job is done properly - even when you're not looking. After working with other contractors, it's a pleasure to work with Amenity. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I give Jason my highest recommendation. He matched the work to complement the existing style of my kitchen which was built in the 1950s and upgraded in the 1970s. The new upgrade completed by Jason provides the best of both function and beautiful finishes giving the kitchen a completed look, which is what I had hoped for. [He prevented the problems that can result when new upgrades clash rather than match with existing older finishes, visually making the older finishes look like they all need to be replaced. You?ve probably seen rooms like that ? they look like a mismatched, never ending unfinished work-in-progress. At my home, I have several projects that can only be completed a little at a time so I truly appreciate when each completed step looks finished.] His accurate estimate was competitive, and itemized all the details. He also estimated the time needed to complete this. He arrives ready and equipped to get your job done. He is a true craftsman and as a contractor he knows how to plan all aspects which is fantastic. He also treated my home with the same care that I do.

Everything was terrific. Jason the owner came to ballpark the job and spent nearly an hour with us discussing alternative versions of the project. We received an estimate promptly (as a pdf via email). When we selected Amenity for the job, scheduling the work was quick and easy, and Amenity was able to come do the job the week after we contracted with them. They came in for exactly the amount of $ they had estimated--no cost over-runs. They did the job in two days, whereas they had estimated either 3 or 4. Everyone on the crew was professional and friendly, and there were no late arrivals or anything like that. The cleanup job was terrific. They also took care of, on the spot, a couple of tiny flaws we noticed as we were going over the completed job. We'd definitely use them again and give them the highest possible recommendation. Terrific, start to finish!

He seemed very knowledgeable about his estimate. We are waiting to do the work until we have saved some money.

I had to find a handy person to replace two metal posts holding up a front porch. The work was completed at my elderly mother's home in Tucson. I live in NM and arranged the work via Angie's list; my sister and her husband, who live in Phoenix, inspected the work. Jason was easy to work with and respectful of our caution and protection regarding "strangers" coming onto Mom's property. His proposal was clear and reasonable, though a bit on high end when I calculated labor costs after the fact. (Having said that, if I employ other contractors/handymen, I will request an itemized list of materials and labor costs.) We arranged for his coming by to see the job. He emailed me a proposal within 24 hours. I had questions about the wood he would use, the metal brackets that would hold the posts, the manner in which he would prevent the wood from rotting. I called him on two different occasions with new questions, and he answered them to my satisfaction completely and patiently. He accepted a verbal agreement to do the job vs. waiting for a signed agreement to get us on the schedule. Then, he accommodated a date that allowed for Mom's budget. Jason or a worker came out the morning of the job and completed it within 4 hours. I asked if he would mind waiting 5 days for payment, until after my sister could inspect the quality of the work. Both Sister and her husband gave the work a resounding thumbs up. Based on my calculations, we paid Jason at least 40 per hour and quite possibly 50 per hour, assuming a generous 8 hours for the project (going to the site for estimate, purchasing materials, painting the posts plus 3-4 hrs to install). Do I regret this? No, because it was done with pride of workmanship, per my evaluators, and the transaction was pleasant and business-like. They gave us a quote of $35000. They seemed to have a little bit larger operation which met more subcontracting. With the other company, it was a little bit small operation. The main person did more of the work. It was a little bit more of a personalized service I felt. When I called, they were able to come out immediately and they promptly gave me a quote. They did good execution. They were knowledgeable.

The work was completed per agreed to schedule with excellent workmanship. We will certainly use Jason in the future.

The job went flawlessly. Jason had the crews there on time and they were very professional and efficient. The work was excellent. I will definitely use them again as other home improvements come up.

It was great working with Amenity. Jason and his crew did a great job and I love my kitchen. They lowered a half wall between the kitchen and another room and made a breakfast bar out of it. They also replaced all the granite counter tops with new granite. They also did a few little things like patching drywall and remounting a curtain rod that was pulled out of the wall. They were patient and flexible. When it came time to do the work they ran into some snags but were able to work through them successfully. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. My wife and I changed our minds a few times and they worked with us to get it the way we wanted. In the end we paid less for the work and got more than another company who bid on the project. I do plan to use them again in the future.

Jason and his crew were incredibly efficient, prompt and professional. Jason came out personally to evaluate the project, gave an estimate of time and cost, and stayed true to his estimate. We had ordered the wine storage cooling unit and racks from an outside vendor, and the shipment of the racks was delayed. Jason's crew worked around the delay, completing all parts of the project until the racks were available, and then responding promptly when the racks arrived, completing the project in the timeliest manner possible. They all cleaned up after themselves each day and were respectful toward us and toward our home. Jason Miller and Amenity Construction will always be my first choice for any home project.

We are very happy with them. They have done some other projects for me. They seem intelligent and on task. They are responsive and if we have concerns, we let them know right away. They are professional and keep a clean job sight. We are satisfied with them. We have told them about some ideas that we had and they were helpful and provided it. They have been really good with us when we do present an idea, they will say it will not work and here is why. They are good at, because then we know that. Their estimate was fairly close to some other ones that we had. What we were going to get with this company for our dollar was better. They are not cheap, but they are not the highest.

Jason and his crew were absolutely amazing! We highly recommend working with them. Their attention to details, quality of work, responsiveness and overall interactions were wonderful. They went above and beyond, in terms of keeping us in the loop related to questions and re-confirmation on how we wanted things completed. They provided alternatives when needed, including lower cost options that wouldn't necessarily involve their work. On the exterior portion of the work they worked closely with us to determine the color that matched the existing paint. When painting it they noticed that the color wasn't a perfect match (due to weathering and no fault of theirs) and offered (without any further charge) to paint to a location that would make it hard to detect any difference. We would and will be working with Jason on additional projects.

Jason and his crew where professional, did great work. They worked with us on what we needed and any changes made to original plan. We are very pleased with the new bathroom.

Considering the "murphy"s law" aspect - it went great.

The remodel of our master bath went very well. We had a basic idea of what we wanted and Jason helped us figure out the details like pattern of the tile in the shower and laying the floor tile diagonally. He moved the shower drain to work better with the size of the new shower and all fixtures work perfectly. The job took about 4 weeks and Jason promptly notified us of any delays. His team was very professional and did outstanding, precise work.
