Ambiance Pool Service LLC

Description of Work: Nothing but lip service. I called my home warranty service to have my pool pump/filter worked on and they contacted Ambiance to do the job. I received a call first thing the next morning from a woman stating that Michael will be able to come out today to service my pool since he is in my area, and he will call me soon to give me an idea as to when he will be out. I called a couple of times throughout the day and I was told that Michael will be paged and he will call me right back. 6 hours later, still no call. I called my home warranty provider and told them what was going on and how poor the customer service is and they helped me find another pool service to do the job. I called Ambiance one last and notified them of the cancellation and the woman on the phone did not seem to care. Two minutes later I finally get a call from Michael acknowledging the cancellation and tells me he never received any of the pages from his answering service. He also stated that he is very busy and has a alot of customers so it does not matter if he has my job or not. I do not have time for his arrogance. But I will give a contractor all the time they need if they have good customer service. Take this for what it is worth folks.

Description of Work: Jon, the service technician, replaced the electronic board for our Hayward chlorine generator. The company offered a $30 coupon for Angie's List members that lowered the cost from $85 to $55. Jon also reprogrammed my multi-speed pump and offered several helpful suggestions for maintaining our pool. I was impressed with the service I received for a 1-hour service call. I would definitely recommend this company.
