Our garage door was stopping part way down, and not closing intermittently. A technician from the company made a service call on 10/23/13. He couldn't reproduce the problem; so he made a few minor adjustments, and said to call if the problem wasn't resolved. I asked him to lubricate the door, he said they didn't do that anymore. The problem persisted; we called the company on 11/6/13 to complain about the service; we were told a manager would call the next day. We have yet to hear back. On 11/8/13 we called another company, who made a service call and adjusted and lubricated the door. After using A-Authentic for 10 years, we switched companies, due to unresponsive service.

It went great. The roller replacement was purchased as an Angie's List deal. I was contacted the day after purchase to schedule the work. They tech (I think it was Scott) showed up exactly at the scheduled time. I asked if he could replace the bottom rubber and he added that to the work and performed it during the same trip. All work was completed in an hour. Scott walked me through what he found during the inspection. He said nothing else needed to be done immediately, but made me aware of what to watch for in the future. He clearly told me which work would be beneficial and at what point I should consider replacing the door as the cost of repair wouldn't be worth it. He was very polite, cleaned up the dirt from the rubber replacement and was very respectful. I was impressed.

The tech was very professional and efficient. I would definitely call A Authentic Garage service for all my garage needs. Best service I ever had from a Garage Door company!

1. Obtained over the phone estimate that indicated the total cost of repair would be the cost of the springs, service call and tax 2. When the service man arrived it was indicated that they always replace the center bearing with the springs and that there is also a labor charge. Note: The service man arrived 10 minutes after the hour window of time they had indicated over the phone. 3, I had printed the coupon to cover the service call and with that, their price and availability was reasonable. However there was no mention about replacing center bearing or labor in the over the phone estimate. The additional cost of the center bearing and labor made their overall cost much higher than previously indicated. 4. The work was performed, the garage door now operates. My primary concern is in their transparency for the over the phone estimate in not indicating a labor charge and that it is standard for them to replace the center bearing when replacing springs.

They were very efficient. One talked to me about needing to upgrade my opener and springs while the other installed the rollers. It was very fast.

Technician said we needed a new cable (this would cost more than twice what the "deal" had advertised.) We agreed. The door continues to make more noise on opening and closing than it should.

This worked out great. The technician w great and I have not had any issues since. I contacted them to schedule and we were able to get an appointment set up right away. The technician showed up on time and he was able to get all of the work done the same night. Overall, the work was done well and I am happy with the service.

Appointment was scheduled the same day I called. The tech sprayed the mechanical parts of the door. Told me my house was about 15 years old and I needed a completely rebuilt garage door system. I asked about the rollers and what I had paid for on Angies list and he said he didn't know I had paid for that service. He then replaced the rollers and said they would credit the service call for having the rebuild done at $550.00 . I declined. Receipt said they would do 2 springs, cables, drums and 3 pc beaming at $449.95 plus $50.00 labor. I passed. He might be right but I felt I was being sold.

All good - useful upgrade and good service

Service person arrived on time, and behaved professionally during call. The door operated more smoothly, and quietly, after the repairs were completed.

For two garage doors, tech was here less than 30 minutes. Felt did not really get my monies worth. He gave me recommendations for repairing my doors for another $1300. They're basically operating the same as before although the rollers are working better. Tech felt I needed new motors and garage door seals to keep critters out--currently still a problem. Also took them over a week to contact us although the big deal advertised within a day. Intervention by one of your service people (twice) finally go them to call us.

Very well, contractor showed up on time, did good work

Making an appointment was easy. Garage door suffered damage in interim between appointment being made and service provider coming out. They pointed out the issue and provided service to repair the actual damage.

the service was fine - just expensive

Starting with a basic service, the provider made several upgrades to the system, most notably on the return spring mechanism.

I chose Tuesday, Wed or Thurs as the days that I would like them to come out. They called me on Monday and said they could come out whenever I wanted. I had them come out right away. They showed up an hour later, changed out the rollers and lubed the entire door in less than an hour. The technician gave me a couple of suggestions on things I should consider doing in the future. He was very proficient and friendly. I would have them work for me again and I would recommend them to a friend.

Joel, the service tech, was very efficient and personable. The garage doors, though 20+ years, work almost as well as if they were new.

Arrived on time, very informational on service but did not pressure into buying any additional service not covered under Angie's Big Deal. Would use if garage door ever needed replaced or if further work needed.

No contact from Provider. I have requested refund of payment made for Big Deal from Angie's List. Don't advertise what you can not deliver!

He taught me about what to expect from my garage door in the future and how to prolong its life.

I called in the morning and they came out that afternoon. He really knew what he was doing and did a great job. Was very personable and wouldn't hesitate to use him again!

On time good service quality work

The service with A Authentic Garage Door Svc Co. went fine. They came out and did a good job. They were real quick, in and out. I liked their price. I realize that my garage door needed some attention. I guess it didn't much matter who I got it from, as long as I got the services that were advertised. The work was fine. They did what they promised. They lubed what needed lubed and replaced the rollers with some nylon ones. I'm so happy with it.

We have struggled with a very noisy garage door for several years. A couple of years ago, we had another company out to replace the broken spring but with the increased weight of the insulation we'd added before that, it wasn't the correct size. Jose explained all of this in a very professional, low-key manner and left it up to us as to what we wish to do in addition to the tune-up that we bought via a coupon on Angie's List. He explained how the extra weight of the door was stressing the entire system and would eventually cause the motor to fail. So we went with the suggested changes and are very pleased with the results.
