Jacob got here at 8:30, the appt. was for between 7-8 but that wasn't a problem. He was very polite he looked at the problem and told me what he was going to do and got right to it. After he started he called me out to the garage and explained that he can see that there will be other problems down the line if we don't take care of them. So he suggested that we rebuild the garage door and he showed me the reasons why so I didn't feel like he was trying to pad the bill. I was completely satisfied with service and I would recommend this company Jacob was a great technician as well he knew his job

Our garage door was really messed up and the track was bent, so there was no way of manually closing the door if we couldn't get a tech out that day. Not only was Jacob able to make it out that day, but worked, in my opinion, over and above by working into the early evening to complete the job. We will happily use them again in the future.

Jacob arrived in the window of time I was given. I explained the situation and he went to work right away. When finished he informed me the reasons why the door was not working properly and gave me his recommendations. He also did maintenace on the chain and springs. Note: When I opened the garage door, I saw a scorpion on the floor, startled by the noise it moved. I stepped on it and told Jacob these critters give me the "hibby-jibbies". While I was telling him the problems with the door, he grabbed a broom and shovel and scooped up the dead scorpion and threw it in the trash. Thank you Jacob!!!

The garage door is now making a noise each time it opens at the end of the opening cycle. I called and they came right out, saying it was some sort of plastic thing which they trimmed. I still have the noise, not as loud, but I would assume that after a "REBUILD" I should have a relatively silent door, as it was relatively silent before they rebuilt it. I have had no follow-up from the company to see if upon a complaint and a return to the job, as to weather I am now satisfied. I AM NOT SATISFIED! *** August 4, 2014 A Positive Update: Received an unsolicited phone call from a woman on Sunday evening telling me that the owner of the company wanted to make things right and she scheduled a different tech to come out and fix my issues the following day, Monday the 4th. Jose arrived on time and in less than a half hour made the necessary adjustments to eliminate the loud clack clack noises upon opening. Jose was friendly, efficient and above all got the job done. I have changed my ratings and removed the "D". Perhaps the owner was not made aware of the original repeat call and my take is that he wants to satisfy customers because it is good business.

Reason for service was noisy chain driven garage door. Technicians arrived on time, were professional and explained what was needed. Did NOT try to "upsell" me. I now have quiet, smoothly running door-- Thanks!

The deal was good. They fixed the garage door fine. Two days later however it quit working. I called them to come back out and they determined that one of the sensors needed moved over a couple of inches. They charged me another $70 to do this. I felt as if I was overcharged a bit.

They came out within an hour and fixed the wiring. They also checked out the rest of the garage door system and even replaced the light bulb that comes on when the garage door is opened.

Although he arrived a bit late, the technician was very efficient and personable.

A Authentic Garage Door Repair was contacted for an estimate for replacing my damaged residential garage door late on a Friday afternoon. An appointment was offered for Monday, but I scheduled it for Wednesday. Jacob showed up right on time for the estimate. After evaluating the door, he explained to me that the 3 panels (out of 4) that were cracked could not be replaced because they were no longer made. The door is 15+ years old. Jacob provided the options for replacing the whole door. He laid out all the choices, such as gauge, insulation, glass, etc. without any pressure to select the costlier options. I selected what I wanted and he ordered the door. Jacob came back the following week to install the door, arriving ten minutes before our appointment time. He offered an upgrade to heavier springs and better rollers. Once again, when I declined the option there was no additional pressure. Jacob estimated that the removal of the old door with all the other hardware, and the installation of the new one would take three hours, which is almost exactly how long it took. Every aspect of this service was very satisfactory and I would use this company in the future without hesitation.

It was fine. I have had no problems. They replaced the rollers and did what he was supposed to be done. He did find a few more problems, so I had him check it out and did some repairs. I just called him again because there is a slight knock when the door is opened, he will be out tomorrow to fix it.

Jacob was our serviceman; Very professional, very thorough, did excellent work. Originally called just to perform routine maintenance of 4 garage door openers. We asked him to replace one opener that was 20 yrs old and not performing well. He got that job done very quickly. We got a remote unit to operate the door from inside our detached house. After we used it for a couple of days and didn't like the 4 digit code we had to enter every time, he offered to take the remote back for a full refund which was processed promptly. (Now we just have one of the car remotes hanging on the wall and works fine at long range) No question I will use this company as I eventually replace the other three door openers.

A Authentic Garage Door Service gave us some very good advise. We didn't need to do something but we want to do it and he said don't yet, wait a while. We thought it was worth what we paid for. I don't know what we would have paid for it in the open market, you can't always go by the advertised prices. I had a minor difficulty, nothing serious, in getting in touch with them and getting back to us but for dealing with contractors in this area, it was not bad. We got a deal so we got a lot for what we paid. When had the appointment, they were on time. What we typically do is when we're going to have a larger job done, we try and get three bids, we will certainly contact them for one of the bids.

The service was excellent, he was done in an hour and half. Joel was very good and gave me a lot of additional information on how to maintain my garage door and remotes. I would give him an A+
