At 5pm on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 23, I discovered that the spring had broken overnight on the garage door, and I was no longer able to open it. I checked the phone book and tried calling another service that advertised 24 hour service, but they never answered. Decided to check Angie's List and found this company. I called around 7pm that night and spoke with a very pleasant woman. She asked if it would be ok if they sent a tech out Monday, and I explained that I had a 9:15am Dr.'s appointment and my car was stuck in the garage! She said she could make sure the tech arrived soon after 7am, and was fairly certain he could be finished in time for me to leave by 8:45. On Monday (Dec. 24), Josh called that he was on his way around 6:40am and arrived just before 7. He first suggested replacing the single spring with two for more even wear, which would also extend the warranty to 5 years. The bearings were also in bad shape. He mentioned that he could also do a "rebuild" where the springs, drums, cables, rollers, etc. would all be replaced. After taking things apart, he explained what needed to be replaced now, and what was still in passable shape, and left it up to me to decide. Given the door's age, I decided to have him do the rebuild. He also suggested a reinforcement bracket on the section where the opener attaches to the door, and showed me where it was beginning to pull away from the door (due to the fast-lifting opener model). Josh was very pleasant and professional, and left the decisions on the optional repairs up to me. He finished by 8:20am, and left the phone number and his name on both the receipt and a sticker placed on the door, explaining that the work was warrantied for the next 5 years, and that I should call if there were any problems. The door now opens and closes perfectly and is much quieter.

He arrived in the time period. Was professional in setting up and recoginizing the main problem. I helped him change the"tram" (whatever the moving part of the traveler is called). It initially checked good. But as he was preparing to leave the other problem the door has revealed itself, and the best program in the future is to replace it.

When I called, they said they could have someone out that morning. When he arrived he quickly assessed the issue and gave us our options. He didn't try to sell us anything extra, but the best option long term. We then decided to ask about the motor and with such a good price and his availability to do it all right then, we decided to replace it as we'll. He even put the light bulbs into for us. It was great service and we have been very happy with the results.

He was great! On time. Personable. Charged me about half of what other vendors were proposing. Door works great now.

We went for the most expensive garage door with lights (windows), insulated, heavy-gauge material, all new door opener with various features and it wasn't cheap, but Jake gave us a fair estimate and did the work as well, including a trip to Phoenix to pickup the special order door. Very pleased.

They were on time. They had to come back to fix something, but they were very responsive.

They gave us an estimate with various options that were available to us. They also explained as to how it works and all that stuff. We were charged about $80 for the consultation, but they didn’t do any work for us. It was more than quoting because it was also a little bit of an education and a learning experience. We have currently set up the garage door in such a way that we kind of plug it and unplug it. If we are going to be out of town, then we unplug it. They did suggest that as an option until such time when we decided to replace the whole shebang. They were very straightforward. They weren’t insisting that the only thing that would work for us would be to have them come out and spend a huge amount of money. They were very honest and they came out very quickly. They were very responsive. What they did for us was definitely very professional. We would use them when we decide to get the work done and we don’t see any reason to use anybody else at this point. It was a steep charge to come out for a consultation, but those were in fact mileage charges. I would imagine that they have mileage expenses to come out.

Lift-Master garage door opener stopped working on a Sunday. Contacted this company by phone expecting to get an appointment later in the week. I was surprised to learn that they could dispatch Josh within an hour of my call. He arrived as promised, examined the situation and proposed a repair with parts he had in his truck. The job involved replacing a stripped gear mechanism in the drive, adjusting chain tension, tightening bolts, lubrication and adjusting the start and stop points. All this was done promptly and efficiently. He did not mind me watching him and was informative as to what he was doing. A pleasant experience. He gave me a senior discount when I asked.

They were good and I liked them. I was very happy with them. It was more expensive than I thought, but they did a good job and were fast. My door works now. If need be, then I would use their services in the future as well.

Service was excellent. They showed up on time, made the installation, explained everything clearly and honestly.
