I was disappointed and discontinued the service after the trial period. They have mediocre service. They didn't really do a great job cleaning the pool.

We never used the deal. We spoke to the company over the phone about what the service included. They were supposed to clean and change filters. I thought that was supposed to be included in the deal but they said they would not do that as part of the deal. I had no problem reaching the company. I feel like the deals would be more effective if the companies listed specifically what they would do.

They are excellent. They do a good job with the service, and they are always on time. The staff is also friendly. The cost listed is a monthly fee, but the clean the pool weekly.

Pool is generally very clean; chemicals are in limits; and filter is kept in good condition. Overall, an extremely good value!

Very thorough and professional. Would use them again.

It was all fine. We'd had one appointment originally, which he missed, but when I called to reschedule he apologized profusely for forgetting and was prompt for the rescheduled visit. His explanations were good, and he went into far more detail about how we could change things by programming the pump differently than the pool inspector did. All in all, we got our money's worth in useful information and then some.

I gave him three options for initial contact on three different days, all afternoon options (I am only available in the afternoons). He wrote back with a scheduled appointment for two days later in the morning. He either never bothered to read my desired appointment times or it didn't matter to him what my needs were. He was going to do it his way. With that said, I choose to not deal with providers who interact with customers in that manner.

I genuinely liked the company owner. He was responsive and professional. He responded to a concern I had and went above and beyond to make me happy. A few minor concerns with his employee. Very nice man and prompt, but his pool knowledge was a bit less than I expected. Example: the chlorine needs to be loaded in a specific spot. Each time it was loaded in various different locations. Once he was told where to put the chlorine, things were fine. I guess I expected he would know that and not need my input. Once we were on the same page, all was much better. After the initial "deal" ended, I have continued the service.

It was good. They were responsive and attentive to the needs of my pool. We do a month to month service.

It was ok. When I talked to the owner he indicated they could do everything that we agreed upon. But they didn’t do everything. They were here when they said they would. The price was good. I would use them again if they had another deal.

It went well. Daniel from 1st Choice called and set up the schedule with me personally. He was very cordial, professional and accomodating. I wasnt there when they came to do the work but I know it was done, my pool always looked great. We continues to check the water in our pool but 1st Choice managed it well?and we didnt have to add anything. All we did after hiring this company was skim it out (daily) since the winds in Tucson blew debris in the pool a lot.

Called provider in the morning around 830 - spoke directly and set time to meet at property mid afternoon. 2 hours later I send a text detailing address, my name, best phone number while firming up on time where I would be available. Got a text shortly after like "Ok, thanks" In the afternoon, I was surprised that provider had not gotten back to me - so I send another text. Never got an answer and appointment was never fulfilled. It should have been simple to just get back and say : "Hey, I am running late, or sorry can we re-book" - Not a word. That is not professional.

caused by improper chemical balance and inadequately addressing it as soon as it starts. I went back and forth with Daniel for about 4 months- him saying it was no problem, he could get rid of it with shock treatment and algaecide, etc. but the algae persisted and spread. The kreepy wasn't working properly, the floor of the pool was dirty. Kreepy kept getting stuck on the drain and then just stuck in one place on the floor. Daniel came over, talked with me about about it, said he fixed it but the problem remained. The skin on our kids hands were peeling off, very severe, down to red, after brief swims, from the overuse of shock. I called Daniel before a recent week long vacation to tell him the algae was getting worse and again, he said, no problem, I'll come take care of it. We returned from vacation and it had spread all over the pool and into attached hot tub. That's when my husband said, forget it. We've tried and tried to work with them but the problems keep getting worse and our pool and equipment are falling into disrepair. My husband just looked into the chlorine tube and basket and then tested the water. There was absolutely no chlorine in the pool!! hence the massive algae spread. Husband then took apart equipment, found a big build up of junk in the impeller- explaining the kreepy not working properly and we are now looking for a new company. Ironically, my husband often had to address issues that came up himself. He was the one who figured out what needed to be done and fixed it while we employed them to clean and maintain. I cannot recommend First Choice to anyone. Our pool is much worse off now then when they took over.

Daniel was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I am a first time pool owner and the experience has been frustrating at times. Daniel was able to talk to me about what I needed to do going forward and what problems were presenting the biggest obstacles. I was very happy with the purchase and service. I will also be using Daniel for future re-plastering and tile work. It was definitely worth the money.

The job went well was very informative and helpful to help me know what if anything else might need to be done.

Perfect. It took a few days oft the water to clear. Now the pool is brilliant. Great job!!!

1st Choice Pool comes every week. Daniel, the owner, is knowledgeable and responsive. Everytime I have a problem or concern he answers immediatly and fixes the problem.

I purchased a Big Deal with this company. Shortly after making my purchase, they contacted me to let me know that I am just outside of their service area.

Daniel agreed to keep the price the same as the competitor and he did agree, Daniel not only did more than fix my motor, but he cleaned my pool, replaced the motor with a new electronic style type motor, he replaced piping and cleaned my filters. Daniel did everything he promised to do. He kept in touch with me. his response time was excellent as I needed the pool fixe that week. He came out within 2 days and fixed all the part. I'm very happy with the work he and his company did. Thanks, Daniel!

I own a free standing hot tub, not an in-ground spa. I need help with a repair.

Daniel has done a wonderful job keeping our pool sparkling! He is very friendly and keeps us informed of what is going on with the pool. He always leaves a record of the date/time that he serviced the pool. I highly recommend him and 1st Choice.

He did what was asked, but I was not happy. I would not recommend the company to anyone. Barbara Arvold

We had a leak in the pool pumbing system, and Daniel was hired to fix the leak, he also checked the pool filter cartridges and replaced. He also diagnosed a problem with the creepy crawler and fixed that. We had been using Cimarron Circle for Pool Service for the past year and a half and were unhappy that the pool just never was clean AND they had never informed us of the leak in the pool pumping system (and from water bill had been there for three months). It took Daniel a couple of hours of work and it was amazing the immediate difference in the pool. We have switched to 1st Choice for Pool Service. At a cost much lower than Cimarron Circle.....win win, just sorry did not make the change months ago.

He called me promptly after I purchased. Set up the appointment and said he would call before he comes. He did call and asked what was wrong and I told him it was just for maintenance. He said "there's nothing wrong with it?" and asked if it was green. I told him no and told him I had all the chemicals. He never gave me the time of day and was going to increase the price without seeing anything.
