The annual service price was outstanding. The owner and service tech are great guys with honest approach to business. Very professional and thorough during the weekly visits. Have taught me (first time pool owner) all I want to know about pools.

After firing our previous pool service company because our pool had been green for 3 weeks, I called Daniel and he had one of his guys go out the same day. By the next day the pool was crystal blue and gorgeous. Obviously we kept them to continue to service the pool on a weekly basis. The pool has never been cleaner and blue in the 3 years we have had it. The whole experience was A+ from the moment I called them.

I put this company in our rolodex for future work. He was terrific.

They brushed, emptied baskets, tested the pool water, provided chemicals and added whatever was needed, backwashed the pool as needed, adjusted the auto-fill float and made sure the system was working expertly each week for the 8 week Big Deal period. They are very pleasant guys with excellent communication skills. We have continued their services since the 8 week period and are very satisfied.

Daniel had all the parts he needed and fixed the pool pump quickly. I was impressed by his technical knowledge in fixing the pump and his communication skills. It was a very pleasant experience.

Ongoing maintenance has been great and this has been during the monsoon season with lots of junk blowing in and rain. I used another comapny before, they were more expensive and had a high markup on replacement parts.

So far, its been great. I will not hesitate to use them again!

I submitted my Big Deal payment and Daniel called within a couple of hours. He came to the house that afternoon and has been cleaning and servicing the pool weekly. He and Manny work hard. It's clear they are very busy, but they'll always make time for any questions or concerns I have. Daniel has recommended various repairs and replacements, but I never feel pushed. Completely trustworthy. I'd recommend 1st Choce to anyone.

Quick response from the initial email through Angie's list. They set an appointed for the next day, came on time, and provided me with a nice review of my system. I signed up for ongoing weekly service with them. They have provided more feedback on things going on with the pool system in one week than I had received in two years from former service company. I feel a lot better about the pool and that they will take great care of maintaining it. One less thing for me to worry about!

He was very prompt in coming out. He was very good. I asked for an estimate and he came out the same day. He seemed very knowledgeable. He gave me a good price and was not ready to do things right away. It was a free estimate. His price was good. I haven't got any other quotes, but it seemed reasonable. He didn't try to oversell and seemed honest. He was right on time. I was impressed with him. He was very professional.

The weekly service on my old (1996) pool was good but had one really big problem for me: had to do an acid wash to get the stubborn light green algae fully removed (Chlorine shock was not enough- too much residual chlorine already staying in pool). It was $300 and they did it in one day, but my real surprise was the water bill later, also over $340.00. I'll remember not to do that during the summer and not during a water price increase! Service was otherwise timely and punctual. Dan the owner was quite willing to work with you to get things just they way you want it even installed pool parts filler float, pressure valve, water cutoff valve for me at no cost. The other workers did not seem to be as knowledgeable as Dan but the Pool now is really clean and sparkling and a great swim.

Daniel was extremely helpful even though he could hardly move. I ended up purchasing the mechanism from a pool supply shop and replaced the mechanism myself with Daniel's thorough instructions. It went smoothly I'm extremely satisfied.

After trying three different pool services, I finally found 1st Choice Pools on Angie's List and decided to give them a try. I waited a month to write, because I wanted to see if the excellent service I was receiving would continue, and I am happy to say that it has! Daniel is a professional who gives the customer both comfort and confidence that he knows what he is doing and that he will make sure the pool looks beautiful. I used to hate my pool, because it was such a burden. Now I am loving it again!

My story isn"t finished yet. The owner answered my call on the same day. He personally came to see the pool and did the first service call. There was a preexisting problem with my filter. On the next visit he brought a helper and together they took care of the problem for a very fair price. Since then every Tuesday my pool is serviced and cleaned. It sparkles and honestly I feel a bit spoiled.

Daniel was great! He was easy to communicate/coordinate with via email and txt and kept us apprised of his arrival time (because it had changed throughout the day). When he arrived he was friendly and personable and explained all the possible problems with our pool filter and encouraged us to watch him diagnose it. When it was determined that the motor was completely dead, Daniel gave us an on the spot estimate for replacing it and scheduled a time with us right then to do the work. The day he came to replace the motor he called to let me know he was on his way and then the next thing I knew he was calling to let me know he was done! The repair (which was to replace the motor entirely) was quick and efficient and came in right on his estimate. He also repaired some minor other things that he discovered (our lack of backwash hose, etc.) He was extremely patient with my questions and did not seem to mind in the least that my husband and I hovered around asking about the work (not that we questioned the quality or his ability, but we wanted a better understanding of how the system worked). Our motor had died last year but due to travelling we never bothered to replace it. Our [very large, in ground] pool had been sitting empty since last year and Daniel explained any complications we could have starting it up (and answered all the questions I had about our getting it started again in re: chemicals, etc.), advised us to check for hairline cracks, etc. He is, the great work aside, a great guy and based on our experience with him on this repair, we also hired him to do our weekly pool service.

Daniel is very friendly & very nice. He did a repair on the pool timer for me at no charge! He does an awesome job. We had huge wind problem here in town & my pool was packed full of leaves & dust. He came today & it's sparkling clean again.

Excellent. All positive. They arrived promptly to our agreed upon arrival date and time and performed the aforementioned services professionally and efficiently and to the agreed to price of $400. Their follow on weekly pool servicing has been outstanding and well documented. We highly recommend this service provider for your pool and spa cleaning and servicing needs. They also can provide repair services for all of your pool and spa equipment, i.e., they do not subcontract that work out.

Daniel also gave me the option of purchasing the cracked plastic basket inside the exterior pipes leading to our filter or having him pick one up for us, and he asked me if I had a preference as to what time of day that he, or his assistant, come to service our pool. I hope he always takes this much pride in his business.

They have done an excellent job for us. They are dependable. If anything does come up they take care of immediately. All around, we have been fully satisfied. They are head and shoulders above the others that we have had.

The company did an outstanding job as far as vacuuming and doing the entire maintenance of the pool. They maintain the chlorine levels. We don’t do anything to take care of the pool. They come out every Friday. They are exceptional.

A+, the pool is crystal clear with no debris and he cleaned the sides and the floor of the pool as well.

Everything is always perfect!

Overall sevice that I got from 1st Choice Pool is excellent service and very reasonable compared to the other pool services available.. ! Try him and you will see what I'm talking about !
