"Beware!!! Stanger landscaping company is a very dishonest company. We made a big mistake signing with them. They asked for 65% down and to pay the remainder upon completion. I did not want to sign up with them at first because the wife seemed weird. She kept hounding me to sign the contract with them. I should have went with my gut feeling.She pressured me to sign up with them so they can order the material right away. I specified that i wanted the job to be completed within a month because i have children diagnosed with Autism and playing outside is good for them. She reassured me that her company can complete the job within a week(which is a lie, i later found out that they had signed contracts with other people in our neighborhood early spring which they did not start anything in their backyard).We sign the contract the first week of April. We gave them $12000. They finally placed the pavers about 4 months later after we contacted the ROC. They demanded more money after installing the pavers which needs to be corrected. They also threatened to abandon our job if we didnt give them more money.Now we have to go to court. Please be careful with this company. My neighbors have the same issue with them. They also don't want to give other customers their money back after they cancel because its been months since they signed a contract with them and they still have not started their project. i wish someone warned us about them."
