Terminix - Tempe -Termite & Pest Control

I pay yearly. They always call me, and make an appointment, which when I was working, I didn't like, but not it is okay. Then they call me to find out how the service was. They are concerned. I had my girlfriend use them. She was full of termites, and she is very much satisfied with them. Their price is not so bad, because I have had them for years. When I first started using them, I had to pay much more, because they had to put holes in the foundations, and they put chemicals in there. They also called my friend back and said they wanted to check her house. When I was working, I told them that they could not come when I wasn't home, and they said that I should let them know when it would be convenient for me, and then they came on a Saturday. The last time, he was on the ground to see if there were any termites working. I would use them again, and I would recommend them to people.

At first we had a few issues, but right now their service is excellent and we don't have any issues. We are on a yearly contract with them. The cost is a little high.

I have used them for year. Their work is always good, and I always have fewer bugs then everybody else. When they say they will be here, they are here, and they do the work. They are extremely reliable, and I appreciate that.

The service has worked, I don't have any termites. I pay them $400 which is almost like insurance against termites. They come out, and then send me an email report to say that I don't have termites. They don't spray anything to prevent it, they just come and look at it.

The technician was polite and professional. As is typical for this provider, the technician arrived a few minutes after the 2-hour time window that I had been given while I was waiting for the "next available representative" to come on the company's customer support line and tell me when the technician might arrive. This provider does not give phone courtesy calls so I never know when the technician will come until he/she arrives. The technician told me when he arrived that he had been running late all day and that he had two other customers with the same time window and he asked me if I wanted him to inspect the inside of the house. Since he was running so late, I only had him inspect the three locations where the home had had termite activity in the past. He was quick and professional with the abbreviated inspection.

The work seemed OK, but we are angry at the serviceman because he propped open the gate to the yard, and left without closing the gate. Our 2 dogs got loose . A neighbor was able to get one of the dogs and called us. But the little dog ran away. Sightings have him running toward the open desert. We've posted flyers, visited the pounds and shelters every other day, searched the area where he was last seen, posted on craigslist, but still have not found him. We are heartsick. When I called the serviceman 2 days after the dogs got loose, he couldn't seem to remember being at our house. His attitude was vague and uncaring--even when I told him about our lost dog. I would like to file a formal complaint with the company, but don't know how to do it. We definitely won't use Terminix again.

We were customers for two years to the day when we spotted our 8th infestation. The termites started in one corner of our house and yard, and spread to all four sides of the house. Terminix' services did NOTHING to control the spread of termites and now we are hiring Orkin like we should have in the first place. They also said they would schedule quarterly inspections to our home. The only inspections that were scheduled were the ones that WE called to schedule, usually because we found a new area of termite tubes. They have a money back guarantee. Do I think I will get my money back? Not really. Save your money and your house, and find another termite company!!!

They have provided good service. We have not had any termites while they have been doing their work.

At the time when we decided to have the service we did check with other providers and their price was the best for what we wanted so we have not checked in a while because the price has not gone up and we are very pleased. At that time they were very competitively priced. As for punctuality they have always been within their time frame.

I like the fact that they use eco-friendly sprays. I also like the fact that they usually notify me ahead of time. There was a mess up the last time and they corrected their mistake. So they came out for free and re-sprayed. They were very service oriented and they were on time. I will use them again in the future.
