Terminix - Tempe -Termite & Pest Control

We have a large house. I live in the desert. They were efficient. They had "safe for pet" products. We haven't had a problem since. They will come back in 2 weeks to re-evaluate to make sure we remain pest free and then we will go to a every 6 month plan with us. Our house is large and our property is large and they had to service both. They immediately got us on a schedule and gave us a quote immediately. They were ready to work the same day as the quote.

If they spray and the bugs come back you can call and they will come back out.

Terminix is very deceptive. 5 years ago I had termites, contacted Terminix for a quote and treatment, Terminix provided the treatment and offered a 5 year protection plan which I purchased. Five years is up and I just received a bill for one year of service that is exceedingly high. When I contacted Terminix regarding why...they took the total cost I paid five years ago (services plus protection plan); divided it by five (five years) and presented the cost to me as such...it is deceptive to combine both costs and present it as your cost per month was...be careful...such practices reflect an organization that has low ethical standards and is willing to deceive you to make an extra buck.

I told them finding out our contract was canceled with them was the best news I'd had all day because now I could find another company!!!

They don?t follow through with what they say.

AWFUL!!!! COme when you're not home, you have to fight with them to finally get a supervisor to approve treatment. Don't Use These People!!!

Not worth a da#n. He would call, leave a message while I was home or not, come the next day, spray the outside of the house. I told him and told him and told him and told him don't do that, wait until I answer. He said well they can send somebody else out to spray the inside of the house. So I slow paid him. Finally I sent $54 and then I sent another $50 and in between there they turned me over to some credit bureau. By then they had already got there payment. They never called to apologize or anything. They never called to tell me they were cutting me off or anything.

They were okay. I have a contract with them because I initially did a termite treatment years and years ago. If I see activity they will come out for nothing and treat it. Usually it is a localized treatment, they won't treat the entire house.

We lost a tree because of it. They've done service for me for many years. I've had some uncomfortable feelings about them at times. I'm considering canceling when my current time period is up. I really feel uncomfortable about having them here. I paid $175 for the year. They come out quarterly. I'm not happy with them. I've had the problem before and I lost another tree. I feel very bad about losing the tree. They did not do anything to save the tree.

Received email indicating the date and time of the annual inspection. Left work for the inspection. There was no sign of Terminix so I called them (phone per email 1-866-220-3079) after the end of the designated appointment. I was told the appointment was the next day, apparently rescheduled without telling me. The rep put me on hold while trying to contact the local office. I hung up after being on hold 12-15 minutes. I called back and changed the inspection to a time that was more convenient than their rescheduled date. The next week I left work for the rescheduled inspection. Again, no sign of terminix. Called Terminix (phone per original email). This time the inspection had been moved seven weeks into the future. I was not notified of the reschedule until I called (as the prior week). Terminix twice missed their appointment with no notice. I will not renew with them to continue the warranty as I have no faith that they will show up or that they can run a business. I don't know if my horrible experience was caused by issues at the local office or the national office, but they've failed too many times already. Failed to show 2X, failed to contact me 2X. When termites return, as they always have (every few years) while served by Terminix, I'll be using a different provider.

I have been using them for at least 10 years. They are not cheap but I had once incident and they came right away and that was part of the contract. There are just some things that I am pleased with them.

They sealed the places so that no pest comes in and its working.

Customer of Terminix for a few years. Had ongoing issues. Tried to speak with Supervisor in early 2014 before paying for service that was poor and never rec'd a call back from a Supervisor - only rec'd follow-up calls for payment. I then thought I'd try them one last time - that was December 2014. Before I did, I called to see if I had a balance (online it said $0 and when I called I was advised the balance was $0). I was transferred to a Sales rep who was speaking to me as if I was a new customer. I reminded him several times I was not but he couldn't seem to go off of his script. He asked me what type of pests I had and I said 'the ususal' and also a few spiders, etc. He then gave me a quote much higher than I had paid in the past told him I'd have to shop around a bit and if interested I'd call back. The next day Terminix showed up at my house and the rep said "I'm hear to provide service for your spider problem". I advised I never agreed to service and gave him the story. He was very apologetic. I told him I was having guests over that Saturday so would agree to service if we could get the price down but that I needed the service before Saturday (didn't want service same day as guests for obvious reasons). Back/forth with the rep. I made a payment by phone and had an appt scheduled for the next day, Friday, 12/12. NO one showed up on Friday, 12/12. I heard back from the rep Saturday morning. He apologized and I told him I needed to cancel and look for another provider based on all the issues I had. He confirmed that he would cancel the payment. Then, on Saturday afternoon, 12/13, 2 hours before my guests were to arrive, a different Terminix person actually showed up to provide service, after I had cancelled. If I wasn't home he would have sprayed my yard. But the worst part of all of this is that I got a call from a collection agency today asking for payment on behalf of Terminix. There are many companies out there and I would urge you never to use Terminix....terrible customer service, very poor communication between CS and the pest control reps, you will never be able to escalate an issue, and if you're as unlucky as i was with them, you'll have your credit score impacted. Talk about insult to injury.

They are great. What I like about the service is that I have the same technician all the time and he knows my needs. I have used him for years.

They were good but they are just a little pricey for me. I never had any problems. They got rid of the pest and they are very professional.

I want to say that this is the 1st time I have ever posted a review in any forum. I feel that strongly about the lack of service and process this contractor provides. They did nothing!!! Terrible experience. The person answering the phone was not able to even schedule an appointment. The person that called me back said someone could come out and inspect.....in 3 weeks. When I mentioned the message I heard while on hold, she had an obviously scripted and practiced response. "We guarantee a solution 24 hours AFTER we have inspected." I am not sure it does me any good to have a certificate for termites if someone cannot respond when I actually have a problem. I called another contractor, and she worked with me and a technician to review pictures I emailed her and get a treatment scheduled on the spot. Grant it, I do not have a total estimate or cost. But I feel like I have a plan and a contractor that will work with me. And I did not wait THREE WEEKS.

Everything was good. They are reliable and they come on time. They always give me a warning before they come. Their work keeps away the bugs.

It was just fine. It was part of our annual service. They are very polite and thorough.

I have a contract with them every year, but when I did my remodeling, they came out and did a good job spraying on some construction parts that we were having done. It was very nice. It's about $185 a year and I am covered in case something happens. If I have termites, they will repair everything for free. I would like for him to do it cheaper, but I think it's comparable.

It was fine. They’ve been providing service for me for 10 years.

They were ok. I have a yearly contract with them. I am satisfied. Sometimes they don't show up but I'm not always there and its hard to schedule.

They do a good job. They come and inspect, and then I have to pay them a couple of months later.

The experience has been okay. The best part about them is the actual technicians. I have always found them very professional, courteous, and very good. I never have any problems. The worst part is the scheduling and dealing with issues. I am thinking about changing, because of the challenges with scheduling, and the dissatisfaction with the billing.

The service has worked, I don't have any termites. I pay them $400 which is almost like insurance against termites. They come out, and then send me an email report to say that I don't have termites. They don't spray anything to prevent it, they just come and look at it.

They do all my outside service. I would tell people to use them.
