My experience with Discount Floors was excellent. The team showed up when they said they would, finished on time. They did an incredible job for a competitive price. I even changed the scope of the job after it had begun. Bruce took it in stride, provided me a reasonable price for the additional work, and the project went forward without a hitch. The team was very professional and very polite. I will be contacting Discount Floors for a carpeting job I have coming up.

I wasn't set on what exactly I wanted, but he brought out some good stuff -he brought out some wide planks and he was like it is a new thing and I liked it. When he did the quote, he quoted our stairs and closet and made some recommendations. He did a thorough job. We told them the stairs were optional- we didn't know how much it would cost. He did the stairs and after that he was like, the stairs are expensive. However, their prices are way cheaper than other companies and the product is pretty comparable. I like their product better-I like how it looks. The consultation was free.

EXCEPTIONAL quality work. Far exceeds my expectations. A+ on the work itself, B for an overall rating. At the end of the first day, the workers asked if they might show up early the next morning, around 7:00 - 7:30. They showed up around 10 and left by 4. Showed up the next morning around 9 or so and left at a good time. By mid week when I asked what time they would be there they just smiled and said early. I said hey guys, c'mon, give me an idea. I'm trying to make sure I'm up and out of your way (I have a dog). They showed up by 8 the last 2 days on the job and stayed a good 8 hours. Third day into it, I noticed a HUGE hole in my yard by the foundation of my house and fence. When I asked the workers about it, they smiled and explained it was for them to dispose of the dirty water so it did not stain the street or my rock landscaping. OK, but they did not ask me if it was OK to dig there, or anywhere for that matter. Although I was told they would put the rocks back, they did not. I had to do it myself. There was a minor, very minor ding on a corner wall that tends to happen when someone is moving furniture etc. The workers offered to repair it once we found I had putty to do so. They patched it very nicely. Unfortunately they took it upon themselves to paint it also (I had just had the house painted the week before so had paint in the garage). The worker painted it 3 shades darker than what was on the wall. When I asked (they did not bring this to my attention) what they were thinking, they replied that they thought it would have dried "lighter" but should have asked me first. I of course agreed with the fact they should have asked me. At the end of the job, they did a great job putting my furniture back and together (paid for that service) and did a nice job cleaning my kitchen appliances and laundry room appliances. Most workers don't do that. I informed Bruce of my concerns, one of which is not listed here and he said he would address them. As a consumer, that is all I can expect. Having been in customer service for over 30 years, I have high expectations but do not go balistic or fly off the handle. I speak my peace and move on since statistics consistently show that word of mouth is the best/worst review for any company. I would recommend this company but would ask more about the crew coming and what to expect during the job. I would also encourage anyone to do a little more homework about what to expect for any job of this magnitude.

I am completely overjoyed with our new floors, and how smooth and easy they made it for us, they were true craftsmen with each step and detail. I am thrilled with the laminate Bruce helped me choose, and I would highly recomend Discount Flooring Inc to my closest friend.

I met with Mr. Steve Campbell on 10 November. 2014, and selected tile for my two bathrooms and carpet for the other rooms, and gave him a check for a down payment. I had to let him know that it would be after the first of the year before I could schedule installation. I explained that I had arranged to have my walls painted , but I needed to select carpet and tile before I could choose paint colors and schedule the work. I has told Mr. Campbell that I wanted really good quality carpeting, and that I wanted a color that wasn't currently "popular" - a soft teal shade. He arrived with a good selection of samples that met my needs and at no time was I was I pressured to choose any particular type of carpet; I was simply given enough information about each in order to make a good decision on my own.. One truly appreciates such gentlemanly treatment from a sales agent, especially when one is so often subjected to "hard sell " tactics. After explaining that Angie's List customers got an upgraded padding, and explaining the great features of the carpet I chose - such as built-in stain resistance ( important for a dog owner ! ) and the guarantee the company makes on its products and workmanship, I was sure I had made the right choice of companies. Mr. Campbell was very accommodating about my schedule, and made sure the work could be done while my adult son was off and could help me. The men who came to install were right on time, and both were extremely courteous and pleasant. They simply amazed me with how quickly they worked, while having to move furniture around - and doing a very skillful job with the carpet at the same time. I am so very pleased! The carpet looks beautiful, and feels so luxurious. One of my requirements was that the carpet " feel " really good, because I am one of those ladies who never outgrew the habit of enjoying TV while lying on the floor ! I cannot recommend Discount Flooring highly enough; another win for Angie's List !!

Bruce and his son came for a consultation right away with a truck full of samples. We had a carpet sample from a big-box store to compare to and he provided a superior product for a lower price. Thrilled with how it looks, and how soft the new carpet is.

company was very punctual and professional. Fitting and placement of the tile was perfect and the carpeting went exceptionally well. I am VERY impressed with the tile.

Completed the job in four days. Excellent work done. Cleaned up after work completed to my satisfaction. Arrived later than planned on the first day due to scheduling problem.

Look, this company is great!!! End of story. Use them with confidence.

It went beautifully! I had contacted Steve Campbell in early November to have new tile and carpeting installed in my home. I had explained to Mr. Campbell that the installation would have to wait until the interior painting was completed, and I would contact and arrange a date for the tile first. In spite of serious accidents and traffic restriction on I-10, Alfred and Jose arrived not long after the promised time. They went right to work, and managed to finish everything much sooner than I had expected .I had thought they would have to come back and finish up the next day, but these two gentlemen were so diligent and organized in their work that only about 6-7 hours was more than enough. Their skill was evident in the perfection of the work - my new tile floors are just beautiful ! Alfred and Jose were clean and neat in their persons and in their work, and both gentlemen were quite friendly and pleasant in their manner, Very professional ! Thanks to Angie's List I have been able to rely on local businessmen to complete the various upgrades to my home, and I have been more than pleased with the companies with which I have dealt. I can highly recommend Discount Floors for the tile work; I will be writing an evaluation when my carpet is installed.

We contacted Bruce Campbell and arranged a time for him to come out to the house and bring samples of the flooring type we were interested in (laminate). He was very polite and professional and made sure to arrange his visit at a time that worked for both my wife and myself. The sample materials he brought along were of very high quality, including the underlayment material; an important and often overlooked aspect to replacing the floors in your home. We selected a high-quality laminate flooring and Bruce arranged a good time to have his installation crew install the flooring. The crew was always timely (they actually arrived early and got right to work), clean, professional, and courteous. They finished the job in the amount of time quoted initially by Bruce (3 days), and worked late if that was what was going to be required to finish on time. The subfloor needed some additional prep work, but Bruce was extraordinarily fair in the additional charge that was required for the prep work, and the end result was so well worth having everything done right. Overall, we are very happy with the new floors and with the job that Bruce and his installation crew did. We would not hesitate to hire them again, and as a matter-of-fact, we have plans on having Bruce come out in about a year's time to replace our kitchen and bathroom flooring, which will complete our house. BTW, just as a note, our home is a permanently-affixed manufactured home. These homes always have additional issues to deal with over more traditional site-built houses. Bruce was experienced with such homes, as was his crew. They addressed our concerns (finding people experienced with such homes is not always an easy task) and installed a high-quality product that vastly increased the aesthetics, and quality feel of our home. We are thrilled with the new floors.

Steve brought sample tiles to our in-home consultation. One of the first tiles he showed us was exactly what we wanted. We were told the entire process would take 2 days, and even though they were late on the first day due to supplier issues, they finished on time. The first day they removed all of the old tile and put down about 60% of the new. Day 2 they put down the rest and grouted it all. Albert did a fantastic job...a true master at his craft. Steve dropped by both days to check out the progress of the work and kept us updated throughout with regular phone calls. I would definitely use Discount Floors again.

The process went extremely well. I was remodeling from out-of-state, but Steve worked with me very well. He is extremely responsive and kept me update. He worked around my travel schedule and even came by to check work and drop off some extra tile after the work and payment were completed. The tile turned out beautifully and the carpet is softer than we had in our prior house. I know his tile price was competitive but did not get a chance to research carpet prior to deal. I will definitely re-hire if we remodel another house. I also appreciate their business integrity in that there was opportunity to upcharge if sub-floor issues were found during replacement. I was not present during this stage but Steve informed me that none was necessary so no additional charge beyond quote.

Steven, the owner, did our estimate. he was on time, knew is stuff, and professional. I really enjoyed working with them, as you can tell he is honest and genuine. WE LOVE OUR NEW CARPET! It's transformed our home. The installers were great! Nice and clean as well. They did a lot of work, as our old carpet was 25 yrs old he estimated, so I appreciated them.

I considered four or five companies for replacement of flooring that had been removed due to water damage. Steve Campbell and Discount Floors, Inc., were by far the clear choice. He responded promptly to my Angie's List query, brought remarkable samples of flooring to my home, kindly answered all my questions, discussed options, provided an estimate for both the damaged area and other areas of concern, offered to return with additional samples, and applied absolutely no pressure. He understood I had appointments scheduled with other companies and he wished me well, but hoped I'd be in touch. When I contacted him the next week to say he and Discount Floors were my choice, he came back out to finalize the plan and provide a detailed estimate. Once the laminate I'd chosen was available and the crew was hired, he accepted my down-payment check. The crew for the laminate flooring arrived even a little before the scheduled time, worked quickly and professionally , and completed the job in one long day. Steve came by that afternoon to check on how things were going. When I later had a few minor concerns that I communicated to him, he promptly came back out, validated that they were concerns requiring attention, and scheduled the contractor to return the next business day to remedy them. All concerns were completely resolved. A different crew did the vinyl flooring in the bathrooms also did a great job. Only when I was completely satisfied did Steve accept the rest of payment (exactly the amount he'd estimated) for the work. I was thoroughly and positively impressed with Steve Campbell and Discount Floors, Inc., from our first phone conversation through the last one when I asked where to send the check. He was professional, kind and very committed to making sure that my needs and concerns were effectively addressed. ***Discount Floors, Inc., provided the very best materials and service for the lowest price of all other companies/providers considered. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of help with reflooring a home or business. They are simply the best!

Steve is super responsive. He comes to your house with his samples so you can look at the samples next to your wall colors to get a better idea of what you want. Steve is very knowledgeable, informative and honest about carpet grades and quality. We had a tight schedule for the installation and they worked with the small window I had.

Mr. Campbell came out the same day we called for an estimate. He was cordial and easy to work with. He showed us carpet samples. We picked one. He offered us an upgraded thicker pad at no extra cost. The estimate was good enough that we canceled two other estimate appointments from other companies. There were no hidden fees. Heavy furniture was lifted by the workers. There was a few pieces but it was very fair and included in the price above. The workers did an excellent job. They took out the old carpet and laid the new pad and carpet. They did an excellent job of installation and cleanup. Mr. Campbell had called to see if we were satisfied. We definitely are.

Tried to contact this vendor on 7/21 through Angie's List Message Board, requesting appointment for estimate. Never heard back from them.

Bruce was one of 3 estimates we got. He was by far the most straight forward and like-able of the 3. We had a strict time frame of a week and a half after we closed, before we moved in and we needed about 2,500 sq ft of flooring done. We did carpet, tile and laminate. We got quote on Saturday and demo started Monday morning! Tile guys were super fast and did a great job. Carpet guys took one day and it looks great. Laminate looks amazing but took a little longer than the rest because it was one guy compared to the others having 2. Bruce answers whenever I call and resolves any issues we had (we changed our mind on baseboards and he was able to have his guy make cuts on brand new baseboards) Overall, great experience!

Sales rep was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions patiently. Installers took their time and did a nice job. The only very minor thing was that the vacuuming at the end to remove all fuzzies and carpet string pieces could have been a little more thorough- I think the vacuum might have been very old. But the carpet looks great; I appreciated the upgraded padding, too. Thank you

It went great. The owner and one of his son's showed up with carpet and tile samples on June 12th to look at. I was very unsure of that method and had already tried the Home Depot route and wasn't really happy with anything I came up with. The tile and carpet we ultimately chose turned out to be absolutely perfect. They installers showed up when they said they would. Good workers. They did a good job cleaning up when they were through. I would certainly use them again on a project and would be happy to recommend them to other real estate agents and clients. Oh...and friends and family, too:-)

Very well they work nonstop for a week were always on time and the owner periodically came by to observe the progress even though we live on opposite sides of town.

We asked Steve Campbell to work with us on replacing the berber carpeting in a house we had bought, and moreso to work with us long-distance, since we would be unable to travel to Phoenix. This is typically outside the routines of flooring companies, who like (sometimes-finicky) customers to see the flooring that would go into a home. Steve worked with us and our relatives who had a key to our new home to visit the home, take measurements, and send us photos of the various samples in the rooms and with the natural lighting that was available. He was spot-on in terms of his recommendations, and we agreed to go with them. (We had also found a local flooring company that had the same porcelain tiles, so we could see them in person as well.) We're now moved in and very satisfied with the work done. It's functional, comfortable tile that looks good for the space, and that's what we wanted.

We got the tile done first. The tile installers were not great to say the least. They were not on time, 45 minutes early one day and an hour late the next.They left a mess, including used gum in wrappers that my dogs got into, and they used the microwave without asking. As far as the tile goes, the only complaint I have is in the arizona room. They put tile on the threshold area, where the tile ends, on one side, but just put grout on the other threshold. It looks incomplete. When I asked the owner, Steve, about it, he didn't do anything to fix it. After they had left I found that they had dumped their used water behind my shed which mad the dirt hard and looked like concrete. Then, we got the laminate done. The installer was polite and did the job efficiently. He also cleaned up after himself which was nice considering our previous experience. Overall I wish some things could have been different and was dissapointed, especially after my problems were not addressed as they should have been. Kudos to the installer of the laminate flooring.
