Pretty well overall. I paid over $8000 for the job and felt that the workers / installers were somewhat rude / unprofessional when the job was complete. The gentleman in charge asked me to take a walk through and make sure everything looked ok before they left. I was not sure what to look for, but I did notice that the telephone / computer wire was left hanging all over the carpet. When I asked if he could attach it back to the baseboard area, he stated 'no, as this is the way it was prior to installation'. I was shocked by that answer, so I did it myself. Just a small complaint, but for the amount that I spent I expected a different answer.

We had extensive water damage at our house due to a toilet leak while we were on vacation. I had to deal with numerous contractors and sub contractors during our home restoration - dry wall, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc. Discount Flooring was far and away the best experience of them all. Besides performing the best work, they (Steve) kept me constantly informed regarding installation schedules, progress at our home, etc. I highly recommend them for not only the quality work but also the professionalism throughout the process. I wish my other contractors were as good as Discount Flooring.

They were pretty good. They provided a decent service. The price was about on par with what other flooring companies charge for the same products. Steve's a great guy. He was very candid about what products work and what doesn't work. He allowed us to choose whatever product we wanted. He gave us the latitude to do that which was nice as some people really don't allow that. Steve gave us some samples. We took a look at a couple and after my wife and I investigated we found that he actually had the best product for our needs. His crew was amazing, very good people. There was a complaint on Angie's List a couple of years ago about his crew but the crew that came out to our home was professional, cordial and very prompt. They worked very hard to complete the work in the allotted amount of time.

Steve came to our house and gave us an excellent presentation of the difference between wood and carpet installation for our particular job. After which we decided on carpet, it would look the best for our family room. Very happy with the product, Steve's service and the installation went very well. I wouldn't hesitate on recommending them, or using them again. Very pleased with this company. Thanks.

I am blown away with how spectacular our floors look. I highly recomend Steve and Discount Floors. Steve came to the house with samples and made sure to explain every detail. He worked with me to stay in my budget. The communication was excellent. The tile installation team was amazing! True craftsmen. I really cannot say enough great things about this team. I love my new floors.

We are pleased with the end results. At first we were put off by the owner telling us everything that was wrong with what another company was telling us. However, he was very knowledgeable and helped us understand what we were really getting. We chose them because the vinyl plank they had seemed much superior to what the other company had to offer. We did like the carpet the other company was offering, so Discount Floors went the extra mile and tracked it down for us. They said they didn't normally do baseboards, but since it was important to us, they agreed to do it. Our job took almost three days, and the owner came buy several times to make sure everything was being done correctly and to our satisfaction. We would definitely hire them again.

Having Discount Floors, Inc. take care of our replacement flooring needs was a really positive experience. Steve coming to our house helped to ensure the right colors of what we were picking out. I've never had to do this before. It was pretty painless. The job/project before our tile installation encountered some unforeseen issues which put our job/project behind a few days. Steve was incredible about staying in contact with us to let us know what was going on. The carpet crew and the tile crew were great guys who worked their tails off! They did a wonderful job!

Results are great. Discount Flooring was flexible and worked a Saturday to get the job finished prior to our move in on Monday.

From the very first call, Steven was prompt, professional, and sensitive to my time constraints. He came by to give an estimate within a couple hours of my call and after really listening to what I was looking for was able to put together a flooring combination I fell in love with. He even quoted me significantly lower than some of his competitors to whom I had reached out. When his crew actually started, they worked skillfully and tirelessly. They worked late into the night to make sure the job got done within my reduced time limits, but refused to sacrifice quality to speed up the job. The floor is even getting compliments from strangers who come to work on other parts of the house! The end result was a quality floor for a reasonable cost done in a timely manner. Discount Floors is a rare combination of the three and I couldn't recommend them more strongly.

Everything went extremely well, from the in-home estimate to the installation to the owner's follow-up to see if we were satisfied. Steve brought samples and clearly explained fabrics and prices. He had a good feel for what we wanted, and he never pressured up to spend more than we were interested in spending. And he made a great suggestion regarding carpet color. The father-and-son installers couldn't have been better. Fitting the carpet around the built-in shelving in the three closets was tricky, but you can't tell that they sliced the carpet to fit around the support boards that extend to the floor. (Totally removing the closet built-ins prior to installing the carpet wasn't a realistic option.)

Bruce came up with a brilliant, inexpensive solution for raising and integrating the new tile (which is gorgeous and looks just like hardwood flooring). We are thrilled plus the price was AMAZING: Costco was going to charge us $2500 to put down laminate (which installs in a flash) in two areas approx 12 x 13. The installer was the one who said, "Laminate is going to be a big problem here and this is why." That's when we knew we needed someone VERY experienced and we needed tile, not laminate. After the Costco quote, we were blown away by the $6700 quote from Bruce that would cover both of those smaller rooms but ALSO our large master closet, a very large master bedroom PLUS a 5 x 4 repair "inset" job to replace damaged saltillo in the kitchen. We decided to have him quote the whole house but didn't think we would be able to afford the work. Wow! The labor was intensive, the craftsmanship is flawless, and the tile is high quality and drop-dead gorgeous. We are over the moon that we found this company on Angie's List. They don't keep a showroom and it shows in their prices, but they come to YOU and SEE what you need and help you find the perfect solution.

Within a week of contacting this company my carpet was installed. The process was very easy. Carpet samples were brought to my home at my measuring appointment. The carpet is beautiful, installation was great and the price was excellent. I am very, very happy and now cannot wait until I can get new carpeting in the living room.

Wonderful. Steve with Discount Floors was responsive, had fair pricing and competed the job quickly. The finished product looks great and the installer was awesome. One of the best flooring jobs I've seen.

The first time I used Steve and Discount Floors was in my ex-boyfriend's house, when I finally convinced him that we needed to replace the ooooooold builder grade carpet. Steve was prompt, informative, and made sure we understood all of our options and picked what was best for us with no pressure to upgrade or take on more than we were comfortable with. About a year later, when I unexpectedly had to move out of my ex's house, I needed the carpets replaced on my own house that I had been trying to sell (since now I had to live there). Steve could not have been more compassionate to my stress and time constraints, and he was there the next day for an estimate. Again, he was the epitome of customer service and his install guys did a fantastic quality job. And then 3 months later, when I bought a new home (after selling the one I was in), I called him again, and BAM - there he was, professional and courteous as always. Carpet ordered, installed, and looking amazing within two weeks. I cannot possibly recommend Steve and Discount Floors enough.

I got in touch with this company via Angie's List and heard back from Steve right away. We scheduled an in-home estimate, and he brought a few samples for me to choose from. I went with his recommendation, and the rooms look great! The quality is top-notch, and it was a great value. Steve is very easy to work with, and the installation team was punctual and professional. We couldn't be happier.

Steve was wonderfully patient while we asked him tons of questions related to duration, potential issues, color choice, etc. We also had a strict timeline considering we were planning a wedding in our home and needed to be home during the process due to our two wolverines (questionably domesticated dogs). The crew was polite, quick and were excellent at their craft. Make no mistake, tile can be a messy process but Steve and his team made it as effortless as possible. Any issues or questions were addressed immediately, our floor is gorgeous and the installation stayed on schedule. Steve did an excellent job giving us different options and explaining the process- he was never trying to up-sell and was very honest with us about the process. The price was very fair considering we opted for high-end laminate and carpet choices, and we couldn't be happier with the final result! The installers were great- punctual, polite, and did an excellent job.

We got estimates from several companies on tiling ~1600 square feet or our home. We decided on Discount Floors and cannot be happier. They had great pricing on the tile. Steve, the primary point of contact was available to answer any questions. He was always ontime. Their installers knew the proper way to install 48 inch wood looking tile. They were quick, neat, and an all around great experience. (Please note that the pricing may seem high but we ordered Marazzi Trevorchic tile which is a higher quality and more expensive than the Home Depot tile)

Great, work was s completed in 5 days with as little disruption as possible

I was very impressed with all aspects of the process: the sales pitch, installation and follow up. Steve was very professional. Answered all my questions and I did not feel like he was trying to push me to make a purchase. The carpet order came in within a week or two after I had made the down payment and was installed within a few days after that. We carpeted a large area but with three installers they were able to get it done in one day- which included moving a lot of furniture. The carpet looks great- very happy with the color and the quality. Especially as the total cost was 2/3's of the cost of my first quote. And Steve called after it was installed to check make sure I was happy with the results.

Timely estimate and a good job at a reasonable price.

Fantastic. They were out within 2 days for an estimate and started work within a week. Took five days to complete the install but it was a tough job, especially going up to the third floor. The crew was friendly and cleaned up after themselves. They were a little late on 2 of the days, but it wasn't enough to dock the grade. The vinyl itself is amazing. I have 3 dogs and all the scrambling in the world has not scratched it. The puppy has had a few accidents as well and it gets swiffered right up. Everything turned out great!

PERFECT!! I love my new floors, they are so beautiful. Steve and his crew were wonderful to work with, I will recommend them to anyone I know who needs new flooring. I purchased the tile that looks like wood...you would never know it was tile! It looks like we took down an old barn. So far all that have come to visit me to see my floors have absolutely loved them...they are so jealous of my floors. : 0 )
